Green Wave was 👍👍, and our guides were terrific !!
The trip was great. It was really well paced and Dylan was very knowledgeable about so many things! He took pictures for us and was so helpful! We had a great time.
GREAT Green Wave excursion. We were in Vegas for 5 days and thought this would be fun to do one morning. Our tour guide Dlyan picked us up at Bellagio and off we went. He was very friendly and knowledgeable. Reminded me of an old buddy back in the day. We both loved him. He took some great photos of us and got them to us in good time; just like he promised. We told everyone in our family to do this Kayak trip when they're in Vegas and looking for something to do. Very happy with Green Wave.
The tour was beautiful!! The color of the water of the Colorado River is amazing! The tour is very relaxing. Dylan, our tour guide was great, took a lot of pictures and did not rush us. We are not very experienced kayakers and we were able to do it and enjoy it!! Thanks
Beautiful experience!! A must do!!! Tour is super organized and so relaxing! The color of the water is amazing!!
Green wave Kayak is the way to go! If you want a great experience outside of the Las Vegas Strip you will not be disappointed! Dylan and Jeff picked us up from our hotel and we took a wonderful , beautiful scenic ride to the kayak area. We got to stop by the store and walk down the dock before we left and had a safety briefing. The guided tour was so smooth so fun. It was like being at Jurassic park minus the dinosaurs lol. The guides were so hospitable and provided water for us and water bags to keep our stuff dry. After we were done kayaking , they were nice enough to take us to see the sheep. It was a beautiful park , absolutely stunning so green and beautiful and the park overlooked lake. They also took the time to take individual pictures of us and sent them to us. The tour is well worth it and if you're going to pick a company , this is it. Thanks guys for a memorable time! 💖
Jeff, our gracious tour guide gave us wonderful fun facts about the area as we paddled thru the glass waters of the snake river. He was so attentive, considerate and eager to show off the beauty of the river and its history. Thank you Jeff you are awesome!!!
I can’t imagine a more personable and engaging guide than Jeff! He took such care explaining the guidelines for a safe and memorable trip, and was especially helpful accommodating my in-and-out of the kayak needs with a broken toe and bum knee. He’s an absolute gem!
During our recent trip to Las Vegas, we booked a tour with Greenwave Kayak. The purpose of the trip was to see the gorgeous Emerald Cave, but we were also treated to a beautiful stretch of the Colorado River, a scenic vista, a visit to a river gaugers abandoned homestead/worksite, a couple of brisk swims and four bighorn sheep! Dylan was our fantastic guide. The day before our tour he reconfirmed our meeting time/site and provided a “packing” list of items that made our trip all the more enjoyable. He was incredibly polite and helpful. He helped stabilize our kayak when we got in/out and helped push/pull it into and out of the river. He even provided suggestions on how to cool down our phones when they got a bit warm in their waterproof cases. He always had ANOTHER cold water ready at just the right time, and he took lots of very good photos for us. He shared lots of information about the Colorado River, and his knowledge of local plants and wildlife was equally good. He even told us where we would likely find more bighorn sheep on our drive back to Vegas - and he was right! We thoroughly enjoyed our tour, never felt rushed and always felt safe. We have waited several years for the “right climate” to book this tour. Not only did we nail the weather, we nailed the tour operator and especially the guide. We highly recommend this tour to anyone wanting to enjoy a few hours away from the crowds and neon lights Vegas.
Dylan was a brilliant guide, showing points of interest. He made sure we all had memorable pictures to take home. The pick up and drop off was so helpful. All in all a wonderful day. Fiona
Great tour! Amazing views. Dylan was a great guide, not only did he give us a history lesson but kept us safe and hydrated. The stop at the beach for a dip in the freezing water is a must!!! Its hot out there. We were lucky with the wild life and saw an eagle, the Horned sheep, crayfish. The cave was just ok but the entire kayak adventure was the highlight! Its about a 5 mile row so if youre not ready for that I suggest you tandem.
Excellent kayak tour our guide Deb was funny and super helpful! It was just our small group of three and he made sure to have us spend extra time at the beaches as well as in the cave also taking numerous photos of us while giving us a lot of information on the surrounding area areas. We absolutely love this. Highly recommend’
Such a beautiful tour! Our guides Dylan was great. He gave us a history lesson and made sure we were hydrated and safe the entire time. Loved the stop at the beach and so happy he took pictures of us to have as a forever memory.
Dylan and Jeff were the absolute best guides. The rivers beauty is undeniable along with the mountainous terrain, you just can’t beat it. Tour with these guys and you will not be disappointed. Thanks Dylan and Jeff with Green Wave, we had a blast.
It was amazing! I’ve lived in Vegas 20 years and always wanted to go! Wonderful guided experience with a little bit of everything! Breathtaking views, cool swim and beach time, history, a short hike, a cave and wildlife! A must see!
Tour guide: Dylan and Jeff We had a group of 6 people and Dylan did an amazing job preparing us for the 4 hour experience. As beginners we found the tour enjoyable. Dylan was very knowledgeable about the history of the Colorado river and kayaking. Jeff was very helpful and took amazing photos. Would recommend this again. The earlier tour at 9:30 AM has less people trying to see the cave and relaxing at Bob’s beach.
Amazing time, got to meet new people. See some amazing scenery and very refreshing activity. Best time to get out on the water.
Our guide Dylan was wonderful & attentive to all participants. Communication between booking, staff & attendees was poor.
This was an incredible experience. Dylan was our guide and he was super safety conscious and very thorough. He knew all about the area and was very approachable. We picked us up at the designated spot and brought us to the kayaking lake. My girlfriend and I felt very comfortable in his truck. He answered all our questions about the land and wildlife around. The kayaking part is strenuous. We had a little problem keeping ourselves in the right direction. We went swimming in the crystal clear cool waters Dylan always had us in our sights and even offered us a tow back - which we gladly accepted. On the way back to the strip, Dylan took us to a sight overlooking Lake Meade where Big Horned Sheep were roaming around in a playground. I highly recommend this excursion. We had a ton of laughs, and it was great to get away from the strip for a day. Dylan was great.
It was so much fun Its a great work out and the guide was friendly and helpful
I really enjoyed this activity — it was an amazing experience! Our guide, Zayne, picked me up at the hotel and we drove to Willow Beach. Kayaking along the cliffs was absolutely wonderful, with beautiful scenery and breathtaking views. We made several stops at interesting spots where we had time to take photos, and then continued to Emerald Cave, where we took some great pictures as well. The whole experience was beautiful. We paddled for about four miles before heading back to Las Vegas. It was a really enjoyable experience, and I would definitely recommend it!
My group of three people never got our tour after driving a hour from Vegas. Company showed up 45 late with the kayaks and then said it was too windy to run the tour to us and another group of 4 people so cancelled on us at the last minute. All the other kayak companies were going and it was not even windy. Ruined our day out. Had to fight with the Chinese owner to get our money back. Don’t book.
Had a great time. It was nice with the sprinkle and slight breeze
Had such a great time w my friend and our tour guide David was great! Saw lots of wild life like big horn sheep lizard bald eagle and crawfish Would 100% recommend this tour.
I think the experience was bad from the get-go. Our original time was set at 9:30am and then we got a change of time due to weather and was asked to be there at 7:30 AM when we actually didn’t have to waste two extra hours of our day when we started at 9:30 anyway. Long story short, my kayak capsized due to the instructor forgetting to put a cap on the kayak and the kayak filled with water twice it damaged my iPhone, my iPad all my personal belongings. What surprise me as they would put me in the same kayak a second time the second time he had to go to the beach and drain it out cause the tour to be delayed because of this. It was a bad experience for my myself, my fiancé and for the rest of our tour. I have a video of the instructor saying it was his fault for not checking the kayak before putting me on it and he made a big mistake. I would actually like to do it a second time, but definitely not with green wave. I will 100% not recommend anybody to go to these guys for the unprofessionalism and the unsafe treatment. I’m demanding a full refund and have pictures and video to show the incident. My kayak had to be towed due to a defect and for not putting the safety cap on. We made it back, but we were not happy that we couldn’t make it to the cave. If we had started the two hours earlier that they changed we would have, and if my kayak didn’t capsize and flip over, we might have made it to the cave as well. Very unhappy!!
We had an amazing day. Our Guide Dylan was so professional and a great tour guide. He made the trip extra special. I would definitely recommend as a cool day away from Vegas. Andrew
Actually tour was great. Guide, Zane, was very knowledgeable and good. Only thing I suggest is you let people know about the winds that occur and how difficult it can be kayaking back to shores.
It was our first time on kayaks and it was great. Our guide was informative and very helpful.
Zane was an awesome guide, knew the history of the river and very safety concious. The best !!!!!
Incredible experience while visiting Las Vegas for work. Our guide Zane was the best and went above and beyond for our group. If you want something off the strip and are up for adventure I can’t recommend this enough.
Great experience, great activity outside of casino scene and not so far away from the strip. The price was good through Groupon. Guide and staff were friendly and helpful. I wish the cave was more- it looks better in the picture than in person but overall experience was great with great guide and intimate group.
We had a great time and Dylan was very helpful.
Lee was a great guide. Knowledgeable and kept our group safe.
Had a great kayak tour with Green Wave Kayak! Shoutout to our tour guides Kiara and Lee who were very accommodating, knowledgeable, and fun! The sights and nature were phenomenal.
We’ve Been waiting for an hour and a half for pick up, with no contract. We’ve called and messaged the company with no response. And after and hour when I pull up my ticket it now says pending cancellation on it WTF
Josh and Michel were amazing, they were super knowledgeable and kind, and provided us with anything we needed. The pick up service was great and dropped me back home :)
Great excursion with an excellent guide. Colby was knowledgeable about the area, wildlife, and vegetation, making the tour a learning experience as well.
This was an outstanding excursion. Our tour guide Colby, was excellent. We learned a lot about the foliage along the river, and the creatures who live on the banks of the river. A lot of history was talked too. A great experience, but bring water...you will get very thirsty in the heat and you WILL be tired afterwards.
We had the best time on lake mead doing this kayak tour! the water was a dream! And our tour guide Josh was awesome! totally knew his stuff and took great care of everybody! Can’t wait to go again!
Super fun! My guide was Lee. Super chill and informative. Thank you for the expensive! Was my first time kayaking and going solo, felt safe and taken care of.
Josh was awesome. He was funny and easy to talk to. The tour was great both Nelson and I really enjoyed ourselves. If anyone is considering doing this and is worried that sitting in the kayak for so long would be uncomfortable don't! The tandem kayak that we used was very comfortable with a back support and plenty of leg space. The trip is also not constant paddling and is not super hard. Definitely, would recommend Green Wave and Josh as a guide:)
while it was a cloudy day so we didn't get to see the green cove, however Josh took care of us
I took my kids ages 13,13 and 11 on this half day adventure. They LOVED it. It was a hot July day but the water is beautiful, clear and in the 50’s so it cooled them down nicely. The guide Lee was very nice and understanding as the 13 year olds had solo kayaks and were very tired at the end. We will be back for sure. Thanks for making our day so much fun.
Beautiful experience. Take sunscreen. Lee and Josh were wonderful, definitely recommend them as guides
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ What an amazing 4th of July adventure! Our family of six had the best time kayaking with Green Wave Kayak. It was one of the most fun and unique experiences we’ve had together. A huge thank you to our incredible guides, Lee and Josh! They made safety their top priority while keeping the entire trip fun, exciting, and full of laughter. Their positive energy, kindness, and enthusiasm made everyone in our group feel comfortable and included, and they truly made our experience unforgettable. If you’re looking for a great way to escape the Las Vegas heat and enjoy the beautiful scenery, we highly recommend Green Wave Kayak. Thank you, Lee and Josh, for making our holiday so memorable. We’ll definitely be back!
Great experience specially for family groups.
Wonderful experience, very well guided.
I cannot recommend Greenwave enough, and that is entirely thanks to our incredible kayak guides, Josh and Lee! Right from the start, they brought an amazing, infectious energy that kept the whole group pumped up as we headed out to Emerald Cove. They are absolute experts in what they do—their knowledge of Black Canyon and the Willow Beach area was incredibly impressive. Special Shoutout to “accomplished fisherman'” Josh fishing up that invasive Asian crayfish! The sheer size and openness of those canyon walls is absolutely breathtaking, but the absolute best part of the trip was the Bighorn sheep stare-down they spotted for us! It’s rare to find guides who are both deeply knowledgeable and so genuinely fun to be around. I would seek out another tour with Josh and Lee in a heartbeat. Pro tip: These guys work incredibly hard and are worth every bit of it—don't leave them hanging when it comes to tips! Five stars, highly recommended!
Lee and Josh were great! Water was beautiful. Great sightings of local wildlife. Cave really isn’t a cave but would do it again just for the beautiful water and scenery
