Vince was amazing!!!! Very informative and extremely friendly. I would highly recommend that anyone take the tour with him. The one thing I would recommend is that you wear a bathing suit on the tour. And be careful bc the sand is super hot.

I thoroughly enjoyed this experience and the chance to kayak and hike at my own pace. There was no pressure to keep up with the group. Nolan was very knowledgeable and personable making it an even better experience. The views were amazing!!!
Vince was an incredible tour guide with deep knowledge of the canyon, the river, and its history. Since our group was small, we got plenty of personal attention, tons of interesting information, and lots of time to explore the beautiful scenery at our own pace. He also shared great recommendations for things to do in Page—The Birdhouse was a standout! Overall, this was an amazing experience, and we made memories that will last a lifetime. I highly recommend this tour!
There is some physical effort involved, but not totally over the top! It was great! The whole trip was awesome.
Our trip was very enjoyable! Beautiful scenery good gear and greater guide! Nolan was so easygoing and is very knowledgeable.
Beautiful scenery, amazing guide, he was super friendly and knowledgeable about Antelope Canyon and Lake Powell. Will definitely recommend to anyone.
We had a terrible experience. Showed up to our time and the tour guides seemed like they didn’t want to work. The kayaks were old and they were operating out of a trailer that looked sketchy. They told us we had the option to cancel the tour because the wind was going to be bad coming back and they were not confident they could pull us. Of course we cancelled and then when we submitted for a refund they said NO! Who’s going to go on a kayak with people who are not confident you’re going to make it back? And then to say we had the option to cancel and or reschedule and when we tried they never contacted us back. We had to go through Viator to request a refund and then they attempted to refuse. Aweful experience
This tour is long and physically demanding but very fun and exciting. Great photo ops in the canyon area
We went to the kayaking experience and lower Antilope canyon in the same day. If you only have time for one, go kayaking. Justin was our guide, and we had a blast! We started in the colarado river reservoir, with vertical cliffs reflected on the completely unperturbed water. As we go deeper into to canyon, it just keeps on getting better. The hike is kind of similar to lower antelope, but without all the people. Justin knows a ton about all the geology, and he is just a very chill guy overall. 12/10.
Tour was canceled and I got no notification. I drove 3 hrs to page and tried for 45 min to get in contact with someone. The number on the booking doesn’t connect you directly to your tour guide. It was more like a customer service line and although the lady I talked to was very helpful I had to wait even longer for someone to respond to her before she could give me any useful information. No one seemed to know anything. I’m sure it would’ve been a fun experience but I lost 6hrs of time for nothing which could’ve been prevented with a simple text from the tour guide.
Dress in layers, the day started off cool but after kayaking for awhile you will break a sweat. Enjoyable experience
Pictures were deceiving. Can't kayak through the canyons. We came from Washington and Texas to experience this.
This experience was great my hubby. Rich was very patient with us and helped make this experience fun. The kayaking was my favorite part and it’s so beautiful I was in awe the whole time. The hiking was beautiful as well Rich also offered to take pictures of us when ever needed. Very thankful for the whole experience it was amazing.
Our tour guide was wonderful. Rich was very patient and went above and beyond to make our experience special.
This was such a unique experience and we had such an amazing time! The tour operators were very communicative beforehand and they provided excellent directions for meeting up and preparing for the excursion. Our tour guide was very helpful during the ride and even played us a song on his traditional Native American flute!! He gave us such a personalize experience and even offered a lot of information about the history of the canyon and the lake. Highly recommend this tour!!
Our guide Rich was awesome. He was able to answer all our questions and had a lot of knowledge. He allowed us to go swimming to wash off the mud after our hike. One thing that was not mentioned any were is that there a steep sandy rocky hill. It is not anything that can be controlled because of the water level but it was not easy for some of our group. Also due to a recent flash flood there was a lot of mud at the area were you start your hike.
Loved this unique way to see Antelope Canyon. Our guide Rhett was terrific. Kayaking on the piece of Lake Powell that leads into the Canyon was amazing. The rock formations are beautiful. Easy hike with more gorgeous views.
Got there 30mins before and guide was “running late” told guide where I was waiting. Never received a call that guide was there. Called the office number and was unprofessional rude and of NO help. Stated there was a “miscommunication” . Went to where guide was and told they left with the group. Another guide said she can add us to her group which was next and I said okay. She told us to go eat and come back. Went to go eat came back and was told no more spots and unable to go with the next group. These people are unprofessional ruined my family’s day and charge me for services not received. I’m going to dispute this until the end and these scammers and not going to take my money.
Longer than planned, no relax time or swim time, choppy water on weekends 5 miles kayak. Mile hike in middle.
Vince was an amazing tour guide. Enjoyed seeing the canyon from the water Long kayak trip and hiked about a mile. The swim was so refreshing. Highly recommend.
Rhett was an amazing tour guide throughout the entire experience—patient, attentive, and incredibly helpful. He made the tour enjoyable and stress-free, and his professionalism truly stood out.
Our tour guide Slade was fantastic! We were not as fast as some of our tour mates but he never left us behind and our 13 yo was comfortable asking for the tow. He was optimistic, knowledgeable and we felt very safe. Thanks, Slade for a fun and memorable family adventure!
We had a great experience! Antelope canyon is gorgeous, I'd take this tour again. I loved being able to experience both kayaking and hiking in the same tour.
What a wonderful experience! Logan, our guide was excellent! We had a beautiful day in a beautiful place!
The trip itself was just beautiful, and I'd do it again, but with a different company for two reasons; inadequate kayaks and inadequate communication. We were scheduled for an 11:00 AM tour with instructions on where to meet and to arrive 30 minutes early. We were told the guide would message us sometime the evening before. What we got was a message from the company some time after 9:00 PM that our 11:00 AM tour had been changed to 8:00 AM with only a vague reason given. So, we showed up 30 minutes early to find several companies setting up, but when I said we were looking for someone with JoyFun Tours, no one seemed to know who they were. We waited until about 7:45, and I messaged the company through Viator to ask who I should be looking for. I received a message at 8:00 saying the tour would begin at 8:30 and to arrive at 8:15, plus a little more information on what to look for, but still no name for our guide. In the end, we found each other, and though we got up earlier than we actually needed to with the new changed time, all was well. Except for the kayaks themselves. As we watched other companies unloading and setting up, their kayaks were larger and they had double seat options (there was only one double in our group). The kayak my poor husband had didn't seem ready to handle his 6 foot, 190 pound body. It took on water and he spent the trip to the hiking portion under threat of being submerged. Our sweet guide, Ben, was kind enough to trade with him at that point (his personal kayak?) On the way back the winds really kicked up (which turned out to be the reason for the time change), and that wind, combined with wakes being generated by motorized vehicles once we left the canyon created some significant waves that I'm not sure our kayaks were equipped to deal with. (Thank goodness my husband wasn't in his original kayak at that point!) We made it with a few kayaks getting water from waves, but I have to admit I was a little nervous for a while, and I don't scare easily. Long story short, it was beautiful kayaking and hiking in the canyon, and our guide, Ben, was informative and patient, but I can't recommend this company until they improve their kayaks and their communication.
Great day, our guide Logan was very cool!!! If you can’t row back, they can pull you, so don’t worry. 🤣🤣 The canyon was magic, the kayaking and the hike!!! So beautiful!!! ❤️
We had a great trip on our kayak tour. Hayden our guide was awesome!! He was very knowledgeable about the canyon and made the trip fun. Would definitely recommend this tour company if you’re looking to do the kayak trip to Antelope canyon
We had a great time! The Kayaking was a good work out and worth the effort to get to the amazing canyon! The guide took good care of us
The kayaking tour was amazing. I had a great tour guide. Going into the canyon was breathtaking, the water was like glass. Coming out of the canyon was a bit more challenging due to rough water from all the boats but all in all it was a great time.
What a great experience paddling Lake Powell! Logan was a great guide and provided background and history.
We had a nice day kayaking on Lake Powell. It definitely was a little choppy on the main part of the lake, but once you get into the canyon part it was much easier. The hike through the canyon was amazing! Our guide Ben was a great photographer too! I would definitely recommend this tour.
This was a great day on Lake Powell and a hike through some slot canyons. Scenery is beautiful and Hayden our guide provided interesting information along the way.
We loved this tour. Hayden our guide was informative and made the experience even more enjoyable . It was great to be out on the lake and the hike thru the slot canyons was enjoyable .
Ben was a great tour guide. He's from Antelope Kayak. It was just myself and a German family. He was knowledgeable and taught us a lot. I will say that the way back on the K kayak is pretty tough. Bring water shoes and a waterproof bag. Bring Gatorade or Powerade and snacks.
Kayaks were not for someone that is taller than six foot and the back supports were nonexistent. I would suggest implementing better seats, similar to the ones we saw on your competitors kayaks.
This is not a beginner friendly activity. We constantly told one of the guides who goes by the name of Hank, that our kayak was filling with water. He just told us to keep paddling. I also believe there was a language barrier. Anyways, this resulted in our kayak flipping over because they ALSO did not warn us about how choppy the waves were! We told Hank on multiple occasions that our kayak was filling rapidly. A family near by in their boat had to help us out of the lake with the assistance of another guide who was not apart of our tour, Ben. After the family helped us on to their boat, one of the guides who was apart of our tour ended up flipping into the water too because his kayak had been filled with water as well. He joined us on the boat with that very nice family. They towed our two kayaks as close to land as they could. Hayden, the tour guide had to swim us back to land from where the boat dropped us off at. After making it back to where we began, we were then told that this weekend had been one of the busiest this year and that’s why the lake was so choppy. They should’ve have told us that from the start. Also, Our other friends who were in a separate kayak never made it to the hike either because of the condition of the water.
This was a fun first time, our guides Ben and Hayden were great. I've read some of the other reviews and it seems like some need to be held by the hand, but that's just me.
Guides were not very helpful. They actually started the tour without us. The company leaves you with older, worn out boats. (Ps. You will have a puddle of water in your boat so bring a water pump or you can use the ones they have in their guide's boats- apparently they know this is going to happen- hmmm 🤔? ). The guides do not care about your skill level. He just assumed everyone was good at it. We had all been kayaking before but this was different territory. We were in a tandem boat and struggling with the paddling out in the wavy busy lake- there was no offer of assistance or guidance on what we were doing wrong or tips on how to help. One guide (who was never introduced- I had to ask him if he was a guide), well he didn’t speak much English so he wasn’t much help. He just floated along in the back with us once he figured out we were part of his group. There was very little direction as to what we were doing/where we were going- or they may have told the rest of the group but we were busy pumping out water and missed that part. When I asked the tour guide to wait for the whole group to catch up before he gave his “speeches” about the lake and on the canyon, he told us he had to keep moving. I guess my money wasn’t as good as the other group members. We were promised an opportunity to swim but that didn’t happen.. and it was something my son and I were looking forward to as the water is crystal clear in some places and it would have been nice to cool off. I could go on but I think you get the point… in summary take your money to another company.
We had a magical morning on the lake Powell with Ben (06 of August) It was a 4hours tour, enough to discover the lake on a Kayak, and the amazing Antelope Canyon (we walked) I recommend this aventure!!!
Logan and Hank were fabulous guides. It was very fun! I enjoyed the kayaking and the hike through the canyon.
Loved it! Kayaking and walking through the canyon was breath taking, because of the beauty and the workout.
What an experience. My wife, my son, my daughter, a blast. The mix of kayak, plus the hike through the lower canyon and the swimming was a unique experience. We ALL enjoyed it so much. My kids want to come back next year. Ben and Ethan made a big difference, they know what they are doing, they are friendly, they watch out all the time when my kids were throwing themselves to the water, they always had water for all of us. Totally recommend it!! Allen from Maryland
Amazing experience. Ben did a great job at explaining kayaking to beginners. He was very knowledgeable during the hike explaining all the little details. In addition, we were able to swim in the lake without feeling rushed. During the return kayak, the conditions were so windy and Ben acted swiftly to call the park rangers to give us a lift to the marina instead of us working harder than we have to.
I recently went on the Lake Powell Guided Kayak and Water Antelope Canyon Tour and it was fantastic. Kayaking on Lake Powell was serene and the views were stunning. Our guide was knowledgeable and made the experience enjoyable for all skill levels. The highlight was hiking through Antelope Canyon, with its breathtaking narrow passageways and light beams – perfect for photos. The guide's insights into the area’s history and culture added depth to the tour. This adventure is a must-do if you’re in the area. It combines natural beauty, adventure, and cultural history seamlessly.
Guide didnt read phone number correct and contacted wrong person. Fortunately the directions to meet from booking were right and we met up in time for your.
This place is truly amazing. The views from inside the canyon or breathtaking. Following thelake powell which led us into the Entelope Canyon was the on of my best experience ever! Our guide said Ben was amazing and even took pictures for us! Bit tough to do kayak for a long time, but a must-see and experience!!! Never forget such a beautiful experience!!! Thax to Ben!!
C'etait GENIAL !!
The experience is quite legal. You need to have a minimum of physical preparation. It takes an hour and a half kayaking. An hour and a half walk and another hour and a half kayaking.
