Our guide was good - he was friendly and a good storyteller but we only went to a few places. We were expecting more of a walk around town and inside buildings but since we were using equipment to try to pick up voices of ghosts, I guess it makes sense we didn’t walk around a lot. Only went into one building and throughout the tour, we never heard a peep. No one on the tour did. Would we do it again? No. Was it worth what we paid, absolutely no. Would we recommend it to friends? Absolutely no.
My BFF and I celebrated our 40th friendship anniversary with a Jerone fun ghost tour. Our guide Courtney was AMAZING! So knowledgeable about the incredibly interesting history of the small mining town of Jerome. We learned so much from her. The 2 hour tour was definitely worth the cost! The cemetery was where we experienced ghost presence. We are looking forward to returning for one of the other tour experiences they offer. Thank you Courtney for your wonderful energy and awesome information about the history of this intriguing ghost town. BFF's Michelle and Barb
Great Ghost Walk Tour! Our tour guide, Courtney was awesome. Along with giving us lots of history about the town of Jerome and the people who made it what it is today, she also provided us with a fun and interactive experience with the spirits who frequent the town. It was a great way to end our day in Jerome. We highly recommend it!
The ghost walk tour is WAY over priced! We paid almost $250.00 to spend almost half the actual tour (after a lengthy instruction in the store where we check in) in a dirt parking lot. There WAS a hospital there several years ago that burned down. Then we sat in front of a church, next went into a literal room where we were told about an inaccessible historical speak easy, then on some steps in front of an old smelter. This was to be an hour long event but wasn’t due to the instruction intro. But if we wanted to pay almost $500.00 we could have actually gone into an old abandoned school! Sucks to be on a budget in Jerome!
Courtney was great. She was very knowledgeable about a lot of the towns history. She was able to share many stories highlighting experiences many visitors have had. (if multiple separate sources say the same thing, it strengthens the odds of it being true) I liked how she would not taint or plant seeds at various sites to see if we would have a similar encounter as prior guests. I wanted to stay longer in Jerome just to pick her brain about all the history!
guide was friendly and knowledgeable. the town is vertical and watch out for gps sending you on roads you really do not want to be on.
The experience for the one hour ghost tour was very minimal. Although equipment for"ghost haunting"was provided, the tour was not engaging. We were taken to a parking lot where we were told it had been a hospital, the front of a church and a basement that was used as a boiler which once had access to a speak easy. Our tour guide appeared to have memorized the script; he did not speak as if he had real knowledge of the information. If a question was asked, he'd have to remember where he left off and repeated the exact script again. There were minimal amount of ghost stories shared. Overall, this tour was not worth the money and time.
Great time with daughter! Had a very interesting experience with a few ghosts!
Overpriced Ghost Tour - the experience, lack of information, and delivery of presentation. We went to 3 locations - the parking lot, which previously a 4-story hospital; the front of St. Mary's Church, all other areas were inaccessible; and a boiler room, which used to be a speakeasy but now is a concrete room . The entire presentation was memorized and when asked questions the guide couldn't even make an educated answer. We left early! Would never recommend this tour!
I thought this would be a tour telling stories of rumored ghosts from this mining town. It was partly that, but way too much time was spent with these silly electronic devices that would supposedly help us find ghosts. It was just stupid, and I was so disappointed. We got some interesting history and explanations of why the town might be haunted, but the 'ghost hunting' was a waste of time that insulted my intelligence.
This is the first time we do a ghost tour during daytime, but it was a great experience. Courtney provided a lot of Jerome history, explaining the town’s ghost reputation. Using the different pieces of “ghost hunting” equipment was fun.
Great time. Great value. Great information. Something to always remember
The history of the town is more fascinating than the ghost aspect. The guide was very good and informative. Kids would like it.
What a fantastic experience. Our guide Courtney was extremely knowledgeable about the presence of ghosts in town and the history behind them. The ghosts did talk a few times so that was super interesting. I really enjoyed her story telling. Courtney made the experience even better by sharing her stories about the town. I would definitely recommend this tour. Well worth it. I also had a little problem with the reservations and Courtney fixed it immediately. Very responsive. Super friendly. Great tour!
More of a historical tour. No ghostly activity whatsoever.
Started late. The stories of the area and history was interesting. The “ghost” part of the tour was not…
We were so excited for this. What a let down we may have walked a total of two blocks. They give you some contraption to hear ghosts and scan for them. We started in a parking lot. Then in front of a church and inside a hot apartment. Ended in front of a smelter we had seen already just walking around. If you wanted to do the second part it was another $39 per person. We spent like a $100 for nothing They have to make this a lot better total let down. Honestly wish o could have got my money and time back for this.
Go for the 2 hour tour which includes the creepy parts. Didn’t really like the upsell mid tour, but also never saw 2 hour option when I bought. cemetery was interesting. Our guide was super sing-songy in his speech punctuated with a “haahaa” at his own jokes. Sorry but it was irritating to me personally.
Beyond stupid. You literally go stand in a parking lot, side of road, and a random empty room. Don’t book this.
A very informative and fun tour. With lots of history of the town and it's haunts. Had a great tour guide for the one hour tour on Saturday August 1st. Sorry, I don't remember his name. He was very knowledgeable and a great sense of humor. Highly recommended on your visit to Jerome.
Our guide was extremely knowledgeable about both the history of Jerome and how it affected the spirits in the area. Highly recommend this tour.
It is more of a ghost hunter experience than a ghost tour. If you are more into trying to contact spirits than this would be for you if you are more into the stories and history than tepid not.
Great experience. Very knowledgeable guide. Was fun to play the ghost hunting toys. We all had a great time.
Amazing time spooky time and even bought some art!!
It was okay. My friend & I didn’t experience any ghost activity. Loved the town & learned of good history from Austin are tour guide
We had a great time on the tour!
Ed was a phenomenal guide full of knowledgeable history of the town and the legends of the ghosts. He has a genuine personality, providing humor and safety and made the entire experience completely worthwhile even if we only heard one or two ghost voices come through!!
The tour was awesome. My wife and I really enjoyed the mix of history and paranormal interaction. Courtney was an enthusiastic and wonderful tour guide. I highly recommend this tour if you want to explore the spirit world in Jerome - which is a very active location!
It was awesome! Austin was an amazing tour guide, very funny too. We may not have gotten a lot of activity, but we loved learning about the history of the town and its’ crazy stories.
Choose something else. Only 4 stops. One was the gravel parking lot we parked in! Another was the empty basement of their building. They spend way too much time asking you to explore with your gadgets. I personally prefer to hear more of the lore.
Definitely for The Full Experience to the 2-hour tour our tour guy and I believe his name was was great the group we were with was awesome. Activity on the old hospital grounds school and Cemetery.
If you are visiting Jerome, AZ, do yourself a favor and book this ghost tour. It was one of the best experiences we had in this incredible little town, and it delivered on every level. Our guide Ed was outstanding. He is deeply knowledgeable about Jerome's history and brings it to life in a way that goes well beyond your typical ghost tour script. He covered the town's mining heritage, the people who shaped it, and the stories that have kept visitors coming back for decades. You can tell this is not just a job for him. He genuinely loves Jerome and that enthusiasm is contagious. One thing that really stood out was the use of ghost hunting tools during the tour. It made the whole experience interactive and exciting. Whether you are a paranormal believer or just along for the fun, using the equipment in real time adds a layer of suspense that keeps everyone locked in. Jerome itself is the perfect backdrop for an experience like this. The winding streets, historic buildings, and dramatic hillside setting do a lot of the work on their own, but this tour gives you the context to truly appreciate what you are standing in the middle of.
Great fun! Excellent tour guide! Highly recommend!
We love a walking ghost tour, but we were surprised how much this was dedicated towards ghost hunting with the “equipment” over just good story telling. When the guide got into the history, the tour was engaging, but more than half was spent toying with ghost hunting equipment that your milage will greatly vary on.
Great tour guide. Learned a lot about Jerome, including its haunted history. Highly recommend this tour!
Learned so much about the history of Jerome and the area. The guide was very knowledgeable and the ghost hunting part of the tour made it so much fun.
Unfortunately , I fell on the steps going in and all we were able to do was listen to the initial part. I became ill as the walk started. I know it would have been great.
Absolutely amazing experience to learn about the History of Jerome. Tour guide was incredible! Met some spirits along the way.
The tour guide was historically knowledgeable. This paired with the ghost hunting made for a fun filled and spooky experience. We were in the parking lot of the old hospital and my grandson’s EMF meter kept going off. I asked the presence if they liked children. The voice in my spirit box said loudly and clearly “No!” Several people were around and heard it too. Awesome!!!
This ghost tour began at 9:00 pm. The start location is easy to find and well signed. We had a great introduction and explanation of how to use the equipment. The tour lasted about 1 hour and 45 minutes. We had some energy activity on our tour and we learned some great information about the history of Jerome. It was pretty cold, so during the colder months you need to bundle up because a majority (90%) of the tour is outside. If you have trouble walking on unstable ground or climbing up and down narrow staircases, you might struggle on this tour. Otherwise it’s family friendly and I highly recommend it. It was worth the cost and time.
Have never been on a Ghost Walk and really enjoyed it. I wouldn't say that I am a believer but there was a lot of great history and interesting things happening.
Very cool ghost tour with equipment included! Our tour guide was super enthusiastic and knowledgeable about Jerome’s history. :)
Our tour guide Courtney was very knowledgeable of Jerome history! It was alot of fun and we did cumunicate with a few spirits!
Our guide, Ed, was very nice and knowledgeable. It was cool that everyone had access to their own EVP reader and ghost box. It was an hour, but do wish there were a few more stops.
Lots of great history/legend stories told. At night is the best time to be on this tour. The equipment made it fun.
Loved every second of it! My partner and I did the 1 hour tour and we’re already itching to come back and do the 2 hour tour. My boyfriend is a skeptic but he’s got us looking into buying a spirit box now so thank you Jerome Ghost Tours for peaking his interest!
Our tour guide was Courtney, She was so sweet, educated and was hilarious! We will be coming back and requesting her and yall should too!
Fun! Interesting using the ghost sensing equipment. We heard several ghosts. Our guide was very pleasant. Gave some good history of the city too.
Our guide was terrific, very knowledgeable and actually ran over the 1 hour time because she had so much good info to share.
