Hire Photographer, Professional Photo Shoot - Grand Canyon

Our photographer went above and beyond expectations and make our moment somehow even more memorable than it already was

My family booked a Grand Canyon photo shoot with Rosaria for Tuesday June 10, 2026 to commemorate my 70th birthday. There were 15 of us (me, my three children and their families). Rosaria was very pleasant and arrived on time. We were all so excited about viewing the photos. What a huge disappointment. - Of the 250 photos emailed to us, half were in black and white. We never requested black and white photos. - Almost 20% of the photos were single shots of my granddaughter as if this were a modeling photo shoot. She was but one of the 15 of us. - A large portion of the photos were of one family. - There were several shots of the 15 of us, however not a single one showed us facing the camera. I want to see everyone’s faces, not their profiles. - There were minimal photos of the other two families. Some of the photos had a family member cut in half or completely cut out. There were not full body shots. Some photos were so dark that you could not make out the faces. Some of the photos had the subjects so distorted that it appeared as if were were standing in front of a Fun House mirror. Your response to my daughter that the reviewer was “satisfied” with the photos speaks very poorly of your quality control. Our hope was not to be just "satisfied" but to be exceedingly pleased. In my opinion, what we received was not worth the $800+ that my family paid for this photo shoot. My advice - book The Photo Experience at your own risk.

Rosario was fantastic. She brought amazing energy. She blew us away she made my daughters feel like models and brought the best out in all of us.

We had Rosaria as our photographer and she was absolutely amazing! She was so thorough and made sure we had every shot we could think of and more! So friendly and personable and really took her time!

We arrived and had our pictures taken. We only requested a few. It was nothing spectacular because we just wanted to document the event professionally. We repeatedly messaged the photographer after the fact, and never received the photos.

Rosaria was great! She coordinated our surprise proposal and took amazing photos. She knew all the poses we’d want to have and had recommendations for the best locations. Highly recommend!

I booked a one-hour session, but if you have the flexibility, I’d suggest a longer one so you can try a variety of ideas. I’m so grateful I chose her to capture such a once-in-a-lifetime moment—my wedding photos. Thank you so much! Not only is the Grand Canyon a magical place, but when you have an amazing photographer to capture the beauty and proper lighting, it’s even better! Rosaria was patient while we worked with crowds and finding the best lighting for photos. She gave suggestions of poses that have turned out well for other clients, and she took her time with best angles. We had an amazing time with her, and we are looking forward to seeing the photos!

We had such a great experience with Rosaria! Communication and scheduling through The Photo Experience left something to be desired, but about a week before our photos, we were put in contact with Rosaria who had very excellent and timely communication. She was so patient, kind and helpful in capturing all of the family photos we wanted. The whole gallery was so great we couldn't choose just 20 images so we did end up spending more money to have the whole gallery-- just know her work is so great you may end up spending more!

Our photographer was wonderful great to work with… but our photos have shadows and sun glare in most of them. Very hard to find 20 photos that are good enough to print. They tell you they took over 200 photos… but they didn’t, there is a black and white photo for every pose. Very expensive 1 hour professional photo session for photos that can not be retaken.

We loved the photo experience at the Grand Canyon. Our photographer was kind and made the experience fun for all of us, especially the kids. We just received the photos and they are amazing!
