I was a terrible rider. I couldn’t find the location and I wore the wrong shoes, but still enjoyed myself. The scenery is just breathtaking. Everyone was very friendly. Thanks for the adventure!
She was so great! Very informative about the native plants and wildlife! Haven't horseback rode in years but it felt very natural and the horses are tame enough to not wear a helmet.
Water level too high to cross the river because of a monsoon the day before but still an enjoyable ride. Knowledgeable wrangler. Horses are rescued from a shelter in Mexico. Wish the ride could have been a bit longer
Went of a ride with my daughter & husband. We have gone on many horseback rides in America and can honestly say this was by far the best we have ever gone on. From the moment we arrived Kevin was the most adorable guy full of great stories and super kind, felt completely at ease with these guys. Daniel who also went on the ride with us was absolutely amazing , we learnt so much from him whilst on the ride about the area as well as his beautiful horses. He is so full of knowledge of the area and his horses. The ride itself is insanely brilliant, not like other boring rides where you just plod along a path, this ride takes you up and down all different terrain, making it such an Interesting fun ride. We went through a river, across really interesting hills ending through a vineyard. We loved it so much my daughter has booked to go again before we head off to Death Valley. We would like to thank both Kevin and Daniel for such a brilliant fun horseback ride. It was an absolute pleasure to meet you both. !! Helen Martin & Sky keegan x
Julian was a great guide and the route is fantastic, a lot of diverse scenery. The horses were well trained and felt very under control. Overall great experience, my girlfriend had always wanted to go horseback riding and she loved it. I also was pleasantly surprised by it and had a great time.
This was an amazing experience in celebration for my 36th birthday. I have never been on a horse before, but with Kevin’s knowledge and history with horses, he made me feel comfortable. My wife and I loved the trail, and the group of friends we made on the journey. Thank you for the memories that will last a lifetime.

I truly loved my experience and would definitely recommend this excursion to everyone no matter how far your coming in from I was in phoenix and came down about 1 hr and 40 min drive but it’s so worth it the mountain and views make it worth’s drive and then when you arrive the wonderful people who own the ranch are wonderful and great people inside out you can tell they love what they do and I had the pleasure of riding bone crusher and I feel they did a great job with choosing who your horse is! Definitely worth the experience you definitely get your bang for your buck in my opinion!
One of the best memories of our family trip. The kids loved it and said they’d want to go again if we ever came back. Julian was our tour guide and did a great job!

The trail itself was scenic, and the river crossing was a highlight, but the operation felt poorly managed. Our group of 17 took about 45 minutes just to get mounted because they didn't have enough tack for all the horses. Some riders ended up with improvised equipment, including twine used as reins. I was also concerned by one older horse that appeared unwell but was still repeatedly saddled and assigned riders before being pulled. The advertised "wine country" portion was just riding down the vineyard's access road rather than through the vines pictured in the listing. One younger guide was excellent, but overall the experience felt overbooked and underprepared.

What a magical time! The experience was excellent for all ages (our kids are 8 and 11) - and no previous horseback riding experience was needed. Sylvia made us all feel calm and knew each horse’s personality well. She shared knowledge about the flora and fauna of the local land. Riding the horse through the stream was magical. Sylvia offered to take photos of our family, which we appreciated. We opted for the morning ride to avoid heat and/or summer afternoon thunderstorms. A must do if you are visiting Cottonwood or surrounds.
We LOVED it! Julian was great getting our group saddled up for a safe ride through the area. We have zero prior experience but the animals were all fantastic and Julian was a great coach for us. The ride was a SOLID hour, after all the setup and intro. We rode through all sorts of terrain and had a great time. Thank you Julian!

This ride was so amazing! John was very friendly and hospitable, the horses were so well-behaved, and the scenery was gorgeous, overall a 10/10 experience would recommend!
The ride was through a nice area, some of which went through a tree covered canopy near the river. We crossed the river on horseback and that was an experience we had not done on a ride before. The horses were all gentle and behaved well during the ride. Kevin, our guide, was very nice and knowledgeable about the history of the area we were riding through.
Sylvia and Julian were wonderful Guides. I enjoyed our ride as well as our conversations about Arizona. Truly a blessing to this area, nature and animals. I forever love horses just like Sylvia. Thank you!

An absolute dream! John and Kevin took us out on one of the most beautiful trail rides I’ve ever been on. They erected so kind, friendly, and experienced. I would have done this experience over and over.

This was a fun, entertaining, beautiful, relaxing ride. No experience needed. You get on the horse, and they will do the rest. Our guides were Jon, who rode Bolt, and Kevin, who rode E-Dunk. They were very friendly and entertaining, and gave some history as we rode. It was an awesome experience crossing the river twice! And the view!! The view once you get to the top of the hill and look out while the sun is setting, is amazing!!! You will not regret it!
John and Kevin were excellent guides on our ride today. They took particular care in guiding our large group across the stream, which was running high due to yesterday’s storm. They highlighted points of interest such as the eagles nest and the ancient Sinagua people that used to live in the area. We appreciate the excellent experience provided and will be back when we are in the area again!

The horses were very sweet and tame. I had never ridden a horse before so I was kinda scared. But a couple minutes into it I was comfortable. We went through a creek and woods. And the back end of the tour was through the vineyard. It was a great ride through beautiful terrain. I highly recommend it
The Horseback ride was excellent. Our guides were Kevin, John, and Sylvia all of which were excellent. We had no experience at riding horseback to which their instruction was excellent. The tour/ ride was absolutely fun for the entire family. The guides were knowledgeable and were personable. When we come back to this area, we will do this again. I highly recommend it.

I didnt feel welcomed at all. I walked in and they looked at me like I was bothering them or something, which is a bummer after spending $270. Unpleasant service but the horseback riding was really nice I will say.

It was such an amazing experience. The horses are beautiful and so is the property. The guides do a very amazing job. If you’ve never rode a horse before, please don’t be nervous because they got your back lol. I feel completely comfortable throughout the whole experience and would even come back to book the two hour experience. I recommend wearing some shoes that have sort of a heel at the bottom whether that be cowboy boots or whatever you choose just so your feet can be comfortable.

Such a great experience. I took my wife for her birthday (she hasn’t been riding in a while) and I have never ridden horseback. Brandon talked us through everything, and was very attentive. Would recommend to anyone looking to see some beautiful Arizona scenery and just get out in nature.

Easy trial ride through the Arizona desert terrain. The wranglers were friendly and very helpful, making it a laid back, fun experience. I would definitely recommend it if you're in the Sedona area.
