This was a great e-bike tour. Carrie explained the operation of the ebike very thoroughly and allowed us to ride around a parking lot several times to ensure we could ride properly. I regularly ride but the e-bike is definitely different than my regular road bike. We loved the history of the town that Carrie explained and she sure knows how to take great pictures of people with the town/mountains in the background. We also loved exploring on our own for about an hour. We definitely want to come back with additional friends to do another tour. Highly recommend this activity when exploring Bisbee.

You will be provided with a wireless communication earpiece that makes it easy to hear your guide and ask questions. The guided tour will last for one hour and the second hour is for you to explore Bisbee on your own.

They will learn the history of the Copper Queen Library and the interesting story behind how it was established.
Passing through Brewery Gulch, guests will see the original Bisbee Jail, once owned by John Wayne. The tour will pass by St. Elmos Bar, the oldest continually operating bar in the United States, and Bisbee's City Park, which was the location of the first Bisbee Cemetery.
Guests will hear the history of the downtown hotels and churches of Bisbee as they head up to Castle Rock. Castle Rock offers expansive views of Old Bisbee, and a great photo opportunity. The tour will stop briefly at a mosaic wall created by artist Fred Albert. Albert's artwork can also be found in the Smithsonian American Art Museum.
Riding through town past local restaurants and shops, the tour will stop briefly at the Cochise County Courthouse, an excellent example of the Art Deco style of architecture. Here, guests will learn more of the history of the area and how Bisbee came to be the County seat. The tour will continue to a mural wall by Rose Johnson, a famous muralist from England. Guests will learn about her art in Bisbee, and her tragic death at an early age. From here, guests can return to B Active, or continue exploring Bisbee on their own.

Dave! DAVE! Our Guide! He was AWESOME! He obviously loves Bisbee and his enthusiasm was contagious. He gave us interesting history of the town and individuals of times gone by, he was patient, fun, and made the whole experience one we will all remember. The ebikes were easy to use and quite comfy. I would recommend B-Active Bisbee without hesitation. Thank you Dave!
Information on Bisbee history was great. ..................................................................
Steve was our guide and was super knowledgeable about the history of Bisbee as well as present day Bisbee. He was friendly and welcoming, pointing out fun places and activities for the remainder of our trip. Having never ridden e-bikes before, we could have done with a bit more instruction, as the different models we were riding had different controls. We eventually figured it out and Steve was patient with us. All in all a great time in B!
This is a wonderful way to learn the history of Bisbee and see the sights. I highly recommend the experience.
We visited Bisbee on a rare cold & rainy day and continued with our e-bike tour anyhow. Carie was fantastic and catered the tour to our personal interests. She had great information and suggestions for things to do! We were absolutely drenched by the end, head to toe, but no complaints from any member of our family. The tour was the best way to see Bisbee!
Dave gave us an excellent and enthusiastic historical tour of the town. Highly recommend............
Our guide, Carrie, was the perfect mix of knowledgeable and welcoming, giving us a fantastic one-hour guided intro to Bisbee’s winding streets, historic spots, and hidden gems. The second hour of self-guided exploration gave us the freedom to roam at our own pace and revisit anything that caught our eye. The e-bikes? Total game-changers. Conquering Bisbee’s legendary hills felt effortless (and honestly, kind of fun) with the electric assist—no sweat, all smiles. Starting our trip with this tour completely leveled up our weekend. It helped us get oriented, discover must-visit eateries, unique shops, local galleries, and gave us a feel for the town’s quirky charm right from the start. If you want to explore Bisbee like a local—with the breeze in your face and no uphill battles—B Active is the way to roll.
Very informative and you get an hour of free time so don't freak out if you think the entire 2 hours will be the tour
The bike tour can be difficult, but the guide identified the my wife would have a difficult time on the bike so we switched to a golf cart tour. It was wonderful. Loved it.
Can't think of a better way to see Bisbee and learn its history! Carrie was an awesome guide who spent time acclimating us to the e-bike. She was friendly, patient and passionate about her town! (Carrie also makes a delicious smoothie which we purchased in the shop prior to our adventure.) She took us around the streets of Bisbee and pointed out the highlights and then for the last hour we took the bikes on our own and went on a fantastic ride that Carrie recommended up to the top of a road which looked over the beauty of this small Arizona gem of a town. Don't miss this excursion! The highlight of our trip to Tucson:)
We learned so much about the FASCINATING history of Bisbee through our guide and well educated historian, John. It was the first activity we did upon our Bisbee arrival and it was the perfect way to start our stay because we had a greater appreciation and understanding of the city throughout our stay. We also had a blast cruising around the city on our bikes on our own during the 2nd hour of the tour. We HIGHLY recommend this tour!
We did the guided e-bike city tour through B Active and our guide John was excellent. John was very passionate and obviously knowledgeable about this amazing city and its history. The e-bike is the best way to see Bisbee as it is very hilly and a difficult place to walk around let alone ride a non motorized bicycle. This is the perfect way to get your bearings in town, learn some history, and then decide where you might want to spend more time. The hour of free time after the tour portion lets you explore more of the city on your own which was fun.
Here’s a draft for your review: We had an amazing time on our e-bike tour with B Active in Bisbee! This was our first experience with e-bikes, and John, our tour guide, made sure we felt comfortable and confident before starting the ride. The bikes were such a blast to use—we’re already looking forward to doing it again! John is an incredible storyteller and shared so much fascinating history and local insight about Bisbee. He set a relaxed pace and never made us feel rushed, which made the experience even more enjoyable. The entire team at B Active was so friendly and welcoming, making the whole process smooth from start to finish. If you’re visiting Bisbee, we highly recommend booking a tour with them. You won’t regret it!
What a great time! Had never been on a e-bike and that was fun. Riding the streets and seeing the sights while John gave a history lesson was fantastic. I couldn’t believe the colorful history of Bisbee!
My husband and I had never been to Bisbee and wanted to learn a bit from a local at the start of our short one night stay. We absolutely loved our e-bike tour with Carey! She’s super nice and clearly knows her home town well. As we’d never ridden e-bikes before, she ran through all the instructions and gave us a chance to test drive in a parking lot before we hit the up and down streets of Bisbee together. We explored most of the historic downtown and Carey shared history notes and pointed out unique buildings and businesses or artwork along our guided tour. After the guided portion of the tour, we had about 45 minutes to ride on our own, which was also super fun! Loved the Bluetooth communication device they provided, which allowed us to talk (and listen!) along the way. We highly recommend B Active Bisbee! If you don’t have time for a tour, stop by their shop to say hello!
Our guide was very knowledgeable and entertaining. I learned a lot about Bisbee and had fun doing it! I liked that the tour was an hour and then we had an hour to ourselves to cruise around on the e-bikes.
Carrie took us all over Bisbee and shared some of the most notable facts about the town. It really got our visit off to a great start! Thank you!
The bikes were a lot of fun to ride. Absolutely LOVED the tour, helped us get acquainted with this adorable town. Our tour guide was amazing. It was my first time on an e-bike and she was great in teaching me how to use it. I did crash into a van🤦🏻♀️, which was not fun but definitely no fault of our tour guide. In fact she handled my accident with grace and kindness (I am a bit accident prone). I jumped back on and enjoyed the rest of the tour and our solo ride. I would do it all again, minus the crash and highly recommend it!
We did the 2-hour e-bike tour of Old Bisbee. Our group was my husband and I who are in our 60s, and our adult son - the e-bikes were so easy to use. John was a wonderful tour guide who told us so many interesting stories about Bisbee's history. We could tell that John really loves the history and the charm that Bisbee has to offer. He pointed out so many great things and had loads of stories to tell us. We loved everything about it. The e-bikes are the only way to go if you want to see lots of back streets of Bisbee. We loved it that we had one hour to explore on our own and ride wherever we wanted to go. It was the highlight of our trip to Bisbee. Highly recommend this activity!
The E-bike guided tour was one of the highlights of our visit to Bisbee. Our guide Cari was an amazing guide, she was a 10/10 & very knowledgeable about the city and it’s history!!This was our first time riding E-bikes and she gave the best instructions on how to operate the bike. We felt very comfortable on the bikes after Cari’s instructions. This is the absolute best way to tour Bisbee and get in some wonderful views. After our guided tour, Cari gave us great suggestions on some places to ride alone. We took her advice and the ride was beautiful. I highly recommend this tour if you plan to visit Bisbee. The morning ride weather was perfect during the early part of Summer. Don’t miss out on this excursion when visiting Bisbee,Az!!
What a wonderful experience!! Carrie was very professionally relaxed from check in to the end of the tour. (Background) I have traveled the world a few times and have made it a custom to do a segway tour within the first 24 hours to learn about the area I am visiting. I have never ridden an E-Bike and was very interested in a new adventure. Great historic & local tour and I felt very safe wherever we rode. The surprise was we got to ride on our own the last hour! Carrie gave us suggestions in which we did and had a wonderful time. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!
We did the one hour ebike tour and it was very informative and educational. Our tour guide knows his stuff. We were then able to use the bikes for an additional hour which we used to tour the rest of the town and see some recommended locations. Very good
Great way to get to know the layout of Bisbee and learn some quick history facts. FYI, this is a 1-hour tour followed by 1-hour use of the bike on your own.
Our guide was amazing and so knowledgeable! We loved the history and the stories. The e-bike is definitely the way to tour the city
Had a great time with John on the bikes. He was excellent in showing us all the prominent places and explained the history of Bisbee. Be sure you have riden bikes before since the roads are bumby and some steep. I would recommend the smaller ebikes as well.
Wonderful guided e-bike tour with Carie. She was a lot of fun to explore with and very knowledgeable of Bisbee and all of the history the town has to offer. Would definitely recommend this tour if you are in Bisbee.
We were fortunate to be able to go on the e Adventure Golf Cart Tour of Old Bisbee. The entire staff was excellent! John was our guide. He was knowledgeable and personable. We are definitely going to request him the next time we take a tour. I highly recommend this company. John took pictures for us and gave us time to ask questions.
Our guide was very talkative and knew a lot of the history of the town. I was looking forward to riding around on the ebike both to get some exercise and to cover some area. However, it seemed that we spent most of the time stopping. Ride a few hundred yards or 1/4 mile, stop and listen to stories, ride a minute and stop, etc. Maybe we actually covered more distance than it seemed, but when we got done it seemed that we could have done it as a walking tour instead. It might have taken longer, but we would have gotten some exercise.
We had a great time and I can’t recommend enough. Our guide was incredible and really knew the history of Bisbee. We enjoyed the history lesson and learned a ton. I would recommend that people who aren’t in decent shape abstain however. Even though the bikes are motorized the hills certainly are still challenging (especially from a balancing standpoint.)
The E bike tour was a great treat. Carey was a fun and knowledgeable tour guide and historian. The views, the history and the fun activity of zipping around on the e- bikes. Going up some of those hills were brutal, even with the electric power. Remember, you are a mile high in elevation and that can effect your pedaling and breathing. I would definitely like to do it again. The equipment was top-notch. It was easy to hear Carey on the blue tooth headsets. I love that she took pictures of us. B Active is a wonderful company to book other activities with for something different to do. One can only do so much window shopping. I love that they also have city golf cart tours for those who would not survive a bike tour. If you have the time go check out the hiking trips they have to offer. I look forward to booking something different next time I am in town. Thanks again to you all.
Took the two hour e bike tour in Bisbee, Az yesterday with John. We had a wonderful and fun day and John was the best ever host. He was very knowledgeable and informative about the history of Bisbee as we rode around enjoying the town and weather. We would highly recommend this tour. Sharon T.
Our guide John was well versed in Bisbee history and knew all the best vantage routes and sites. Best option to see Bisbee!
My husband and I had a great time on this tour and got to see places we’d never see on foot and learn about the local lore. Our guide was fabulous, we highly recommend this experience.
Had a wonderful time on this tour! My husband and I were the only ones booked, but Carey still was happy to take us around town. She was very knowledgeable about Bisbee, and told some really interesting stories about the town's past. She was also very patient with us since it was our first time on E-bikes. Loved having a headset for Carey to safely tell us how to maneuver the bike as we rounded corners and went up and down hills. Carey was kind enough to take photos of us along the tour, and she emailed them to me right after we had finished the tour!
You HAVE to do this! You will learn so much and the bikes are fun and easy to use. We had a great time. It was a great experience, affordable, and FUN! Do it!
B Active is our favorite shop in Old Bisbee and is hands down the best way to tour the town. We have rented e-bikes from them multiple times as every time we have friends or family visit it is a blast for everyone. Steve and Bonnie the owners are wonderful and always looking to add new tours and adventures to have the true Bisbee and surrounding area experience. The golf car tour with Carrie is the best way to learn about the history and stories of the town. She is very knowledgeable and delightful. You won't be disappointed!
If you're looking at this tour, do it!!! My husband and I had never ridden E-bikes before but John was an excellent guide and patiently explained and safely guided us throughout the city. Bisbee has such an interesting history and he gave us such a great perspective on all of it. We really enjoyed the experience!
My husband and I had such a fun time on our eBike tour! Carey was a wonderful guide giving us lots of information about Bisbee. It was a great way to see the cute town of Bisbee and we hope to return for other tours this company offers. Thanks for a wonderful day!
We took a one hour golf cart tour and it was great. Very informative and gave a great perspective on Bisbee that you would never get otherwise. Our guide was a native and her knowledge and personality were greatly appreciated. Highly recommend!
Was fun, personal and very informative. We especially enjoyed a "local" to give us insites of the area. The ride was very safe and the bikes easy to handle.
Such a great time! We had never been on E bikes before but our tour guide, Carrie, did a great job teaching and the tour of Old Bisbee was so interesting!
Awesome experience. Our guide, Carrie, did a great job preparing us. Most of us had never been been on an E-Bike and she made sure we were all comfortable on the bikes before we started the tour. The tour itself was a blast. Carrie was extremely knowledgeable about the town’s history and I learned things about Bisbee I hadn’t heard before. She also communicated the entire time about how to handle the bikes. The price is amazing considering the amount of time Carrie spent with us and the time we had on the bikes. Highly recommend.
The best way to see the fantastic city of Bisbee. Our guide was very informative and knew a lot of history of the town. Great experience!!!
Enjoyed biking thru the town on the bikes and learning the history and stories of the old town of the 1880’s and 1900’s. Biking with the E-bikes are not hard and are easy to navigate the hills of town. Great to see artwork on walls all over town. Have the chance, DO IT! Our guide was excellent!
I did the opera hike, with Nicole (or Nicki) as my guide. It was a great way to get above the city and get a different perspective on Bisbee. We hiked about 5 miles and topped out at about 6200 ft. elevation. Nikki is an accomplished hiker, very kind, and very knowledgeable about Bisbee and surrounding areas. I learned a lot, had a good time, and I’m already planning to come back and take another hike around the area with B Active Bisbee. (Hopefully either the Chiricahua Mountains or the Huachuca Mountains). Mike at the store was extremely helpful and just a nice guy. I was seriously impressed with the whole experience.
Steve was great! He was very informative, fun, and patient. He gave great instructions for using the bikes. This tour is a must do! You will learn a lot about Bisbee’s history. Highly recommend.
My wife and went on the 2-hour E-bike tour led by Carey, a Bisbee local since she was a kid. Her focus on safety as well as her sharing of the history and lore of the little mining town was professional and enthusiastic. We have visited Bisbee many times, walking the hills and climbing the stairs, and roaming the old buildings and museums. But, let me tell you, zipping around town with Carey on an E-bike was terrific fun. I haven't seen them yet, but she insisted on taking some photos of us at interesting stops (murals, city views, etc.). How many times have you done something fun and later said to yourself, "why didn't we get photos of that." I haven't seen her photos yet, but I suspect they will be as good as this experience was. Great job, B Active!
This was our first trip to Bisbee and I was looking for something different to do. We decided to take the B-Active Bisbee E-Bike 2 hour tour with Carrie as our guide on Thursday, May 5th. It was so much fun! I have never been on an e-bike before and I am not very coordinated in general but Carrie did a great job teaching me, my husband and 25 year of son on how to safely ride the e-bikes which must be ridden in the street, following the rules of the road. We absolutely loved the communication system they use that allowed us to clearly hear Carrie during the ride/tour as well as each other and to ask questions. Carrie was so knowledgeable about the town, its history and area in general. We stopped at various sites along the way for pictures and to hear some very interesting and unusual stories. We would never had seen many of these spots or known about their significance if we hadn’t taken this tour. After our official part of the tour, we were able to take the e-bikes out and about on our own, by which time, we felt completely comfortable doing. I would definitely recommend this tour for anyone looking for something different and fun to do.
We went on a wine tour in nearby sonoita Arizona. It was wonderful. The owner knew history of the surrounding landscapes which made the drive better than expected. The wineries were beautiful and the wine was abundant and diverse. No winery was the same. The snacks were from a local shop in Bisbee and tasted great. Munchies I believe was the shop name. Will be back
