Must visit. Has changed more modern. Good place to eat if hungry. Would do the bottom of canyon for a bigger experience

1st impression: very expensive. 2nd impression: what a bargain. We got so much out of this trip.Edward(Ed) was an absolute joy to be around.Much more than a tour guide.He was so proud and passionate about HIS Canyon. So glad to not be on one of the many big busses. Many times we were completely alone.When the day ended,I felt like I was saying goodbye to a friend. Will always be grateful for the epic day.

What a great experience! Ed was very friendly and knowledgeable about the history of the greater area as well as the canyon and native peoples. He made the travel time there and back very enjoyable. Would highly recommend him and the company.

It was a personalized and informative journey through the incredible natural beauty of Northern Arizona... It was a small group tour and we explored the desert at your own pace. Our guide Brandon had fascinating stories and insights about the area's history, geology, and indigenous cultures. It was an unforgettable experience. It was a memorable experience viewing the Grand canyon was an awesome experience

In 20-20 hindsight glad we chose this 6-person tour over the big, shiny bus. Had my doubts when first met Brandon - looked a little rough in jeans, boots and baseball cap - so did his van - especially after riding over the hotel speed bump ….. Lesson #1 - Things aren’t always how they appear to be. Learned soon enough that Brandon was born to be a tour guide - and it’s not even his main gig ….. He’s a retired musician and music store owner, grew up around an antique store, was a heavy equipment operator ….. Now lives the dream as a Grand Canyon rescue volunteer, repel master instructor, leads backpack and whitewater adventures in and around the Canyon, he’s lead recon and set up man for a couple of extreme desert racing events ….. And does all the above concurrently as opportunities arise ….. I’m impressed ….. All those skill sets contributed to a deep, knowledgeable experience for us ….. and I could tell he wasn’t faking it - I did some of those things in 5th Special Forces Group ….. And most impressive? …. He talked about leading Grand Canyon river adventures for disabled vets - at no cost. That’s character.

We had a great time! Brandon was an excellent tour guide- very knowledgeable and very nice to talk with. The scenery was breathtaking - I would highly recommend this tour. We also got back to Vegas at a reasonable time as well. Put it on your list!!

Wonder personalized tour, our group size was 5, including the guide, Brandon. Brandon was extremely knowledgeable about the history of the culture and geography. Brandon lives in the area, and knew all of the small details that you wouldn't get on a tour bus. He stopped for us to have lunch at a small local ranch, with live music and local stories of history. Our guide, Sarge, was great! We went to the Grand Canyon (two stops) and then had lunch at a quaint cowboy ranch. We also had a brief stop at the Joshua tree forest . Nice tour.

Brandon was an amazing guide and so knowledgeable about the history and area. We loved the Grand Canyon and Skywalk and Hoover Dam, but the cherry on top was Casey at the Diamond Bar Ranch and the Bighorn Sheep sighting. Brandon truly made this a special and unique experience for our family! We definitely recommend this tour and especially Brandon!

Enjoyed the Grand Canyon view, Joshua Trees and the ranch. Lunch was great as well. Our tour guide provided insights on the area and looked after us on a hot day.

This place is absolutely beautiful! Well worth the money we spent for the Skywalk and the trip to Guano Point. The views are stunning and far better than what we experienced from the south rim. However, two words of caution. Don't make the mistake we did and put Grand Canyon National Park in your GPS. Absolutely not the same place, in fact, about 4 hrs 45 minutes difference. Also, Guano Point is not a place for children at all. There are no, none, nothing for barriers between you and the edge of eternity. A person could easily trip and slip right over the edge to a 4000 foot drop.

Grand Canyon West Skywalk was a fantastic experience. You can get really close to the rims for picture taking. All employees very helpful in providing all services. Buses were handy and accessible. Very enjoyable!

We are still talking about the glorious day trip to the Grand Canyon. Jeff, our tour guide extraordinaire, was simply fabulous and treated us like royalty! He shared many wonderful stories and interesting facts about every stop along the way, and the repartee between Jeff and Cowboy Dave (the "Singing Cowboy") was hilarious. Even in planning the trip, Bob was most communicative and accommodating my many questions and check-ins! We highly recommend Desert WonderTours and will definitely book with them again!!

My husband and I just got back from our tour and it was fantastic! Brandon was our driver and our guide. He was fantastic. He showed up on time or even a couple minutes early. He was friendly and such a wealth of knowledge about the area. We definitely recommend this tour. We hope to try another tour in the near future.

Our driver Michael was absolutely great. He was very friendly and personable. Michael answered all of our questions and pointed out various facts about Nevada/Arizona. He is a very good driver and made sure we made it to the destination safely. He was very patient with us and allowed us to take our time at each stop point of the Grand Canyon. I highly recommend him and the Desert Wonder Tours company to anyone interested in touring Nevada/Arizona. I give him and the company 10 stars!!

Great way to take a day tour to the Grand Canyon. Brandon was our driver and tour guide. He was happy and smiling the whole trip. He told us some history about the area and about local tribes. We had a bit of a delay at the Skywalk bc a wedding was taking place but that was not anyone’s fault. The trip would up being about 9 hours because of that. Still because of the early pickup we were back in Vegas by 5 to see a show that night which is what we were looking for. Brandon was able to give us a “VIP” experience! A family of 4, we were the only ones on the trip so it was a private tour. We were driven right to the Skywalk area vs having to get out at the visitors center and take a tram with the bus loads of people. Brandon knew where to go for everything and what parts of the trip to do for the best experience. He even guided us on a little hike at Guano. The lunch food was delicious and service was great. Highly recommend the tour if you want to get back to Vegas at a reasonable hour and want to feel like you have a special VIP tour vs being part of a non-personal busload of people.

We had an amazing day with our tour guide Mike! He was courteous, informative, and most importantly, attentive to all our needs. Can’t say enough about how special he made this day! I would definitely recommend Desert Wonder, and if you’re going to book a tour, ask for Mike! He is the best.

This was absolutely GREAT! Mike was our tour guide with just my husband and I. It was like having your "favorite nephew" show you around a place that he knows and loves. He was so personable, friendly and knowledgeable. He answered every question and even threw in fun and interesting stories. We did the skywalk and it was extremely windy. Even that could not dampen our tour. The lunch and singing cowboy were a very nice touch. Keep up the good work!

Grand Canyon West / Historic Western Ranch with Singing Cowboy/Skywalk (Optional) Small Group Tour This was the tour we were on it was great from start to finish. Our tour guide Mike new his stuff was fun to talk with on the longish drive to the Canyon. He allowed us to wonder at our own pace as well. I would not only recommend him and the company but, I would join them on another tour the next time back in Las Vegas. Mike went above and beyond when he found a souvenir I had bought for my son and left behind in the Van. Thanks for that. Ed

Our guide Mike felt like an old friend. Such a great guy full of knowledge and fun stories. He knew the ins and outs of avoiding the large tour groups and timed everything perfectly saving us literally a couple of hours waiting in lines! He alone made the tour fantastic adding to an amazing Grand Canyon Joshua Tree adventure

We had the best trip with Michael our tour guide! Ask for him if you book a trip, he won't disappoint. The Grand Canyon was fantastic, Skywalk breath taking and lunch at a working ranch was yummy. Michael was so attentive and kind to my mom who is 88 and on a walker. We could not of had a better trip, Thank you Michael!!

This tour was amazing!! Spectacular views of the Grand Canyon. We had plenty of time at each stop. Loved the fun time at the ranch. Cowboy Dave was highly entertaining and the lunch was great too!! Eating at the Ranch and Cowboy Bob was so much fun. Our driver Joy was very knowledgeable and did a great job driving. I would recommend this trip for anyone who wants to see the Grand Canyon.

We had a great time on the Grand Canyon West Tour this week. Our tour guide was Brandon and like any hosts we've had on any of Bob's tour he was knowledgeable and fun to be with wanting to make sure we had a good time. The Canyon stop was breathtaking and he led us to some of the best views. We did do the skywalk option and were glad we did. The platform is very thick and built so it was not scary at all. We then had plenty of time at the Indian Village and got to see an Indian dance that called in some Ravens to check out what was happening. For lunch we stopped at a Western Ranch for a yummy sandwich followed by a delious dessert. The singing cowboy had some fun songs and then told the interesting history of the ranch while we ate. We then headed back to Laughlin as Brandon shared more about the area with us. Would recommend any of the Dessert Wonder tours as this one was my 5th one and each one has been a Wonderful Experience!

Brandon did a great job coordinating all the sires and avoiding the crowds especially at the Glass walk. The lunch was amazing.

The activity that was on my bucket list was to walk on the Skywalk. I was able to do just that. It was an awesome experience that I will remember for a life time. Our tour guide "Mike" was very knowledgeable and fun to be around. He added enjoyment to our vacation.

Wiped off walking on the Skywalk in July at a toasty temperature of 110 degrees but I would not have missed it for the world. The most beautiful views that only my GOD could hand crafted.

We had a wonderful tour today to the Grand Canyon West/Skywalk/Grand Canyon Western Ranch. Mike, our tour guide, was great and very helpful. He guided us around when we wanted assistance and let us explore on our own too. The lunch at the Grand Canyon Western Ranch was also great! Cowboy Dave and the staff were amazing! A must book!

I was terrified but the rangers help ease your nervousness. We had such a good time that day. My daughter is a daredevil which sparked this excursion. Try it. It’s great.

It was a great trip, lasted a bit more than 7 hours and was worth getting up early for a 7 AM pick-up at the hotel. Brandon is a great guide and made the trip very pleasant and easy for us.

Tour was very well set up and the tour operator was knowledgeable, allowed us ample time to view and enjoy the Canyon at both the Eagle and Guano points. Visit to the ranch was delightful. I do drive fast, but the driver was making me uncomfortable with his speed.

Excellent tour with awesome tour guide! Michael was right on time picking us up at our hotel, thereby beating the crowds at Grand Canyon West. Never have we experienced such personal service! Highly recommend this tour! Bob was an amazing guide with quite a bit of knowledge of the area- from explaining Joshua trees to different areas of the Grand Canyon. Lunch is at a little hidden place and they treat you like family. Very small groups so you get personal treatment- you aren’t on a tour bus with 50 other people. Highly recommend this if you are visiting Vegas!
