Very accommodating for 2 disabled seniors using walkers. Both tour guides were courteous & informative. Nice to use a smaller tour company which is flexible. Only suggestion is it’s hard to hear guides when touring in the company van due to road noise. PA system with noise cancelling headphones recommended.

Guide was very knowledgeable of the grand canyon and the surrounding area and friendly. Got to stop at many beautiful view points and locations.
John was a fantastic tour guide. Extremely knowledgeable of the area and full of stories for the drive there and back. Even when issues with the van arose, he made sure to take care of us first and foremost. Would 100% take this tour again.
Linda Edwards was absolutely amazing! Was so blessed to have her energetic education! She has a wealth of knowledge and we LOVED our day with her. Definitely recommend this tour for different views! Our first time and we would do it again in a heartbeat! They adjust the tour for all ability levels. The best way to see the southern rim if you ask me! :)
Very professional tour guide with expertise in the Grand Canyon. This tour is an excellent experience for anyone.
This was absolutely amazing. I would have paid ten times the amount for this tour. Linda runs an amazing tour and showed us everything the Grand Canyon has to offer.
A lot of walking but beautiful views. So interesting. Take Grand Canyon Dave’s Tours they are awesome. We had Linda as our tour guide and she is wonderful makes the trip so great. Her knowledge is so awesome.
They will learn a lot at every station. Get ready for spectacular views bring dark glasses and a hat
They don't call it the Grand Canyon for nix. For first timers, a guided tour is the way to go. If you don't, guaranteed you'll miss stuff. Plus no hassles. We stayed in Flagstaff, they picked us up at our hotel. Didn't have to worry about anything. Our guide/driver, Linda, was outstanding. She was very knowledgable about the geography and the history of the area. She was excellent at adapting to our interests and pace. Kudos! A highlight of our first trip to the Southwest.
I always trust Viator, but this time they outdid themselves. Our trip with Jake Case couldn't have been better. His knowledge, sense of humor and local stories made for a wonderful experience. I don’t know if anyone could have done more. Thanks, Jake!
This is hands down the best tour I have ever taken of the grand canyon Linda Edward's was amazing. It was never a dull moment. She taught us things and was patient with the whole group. I have never learned so much about rocks. This was the best tour.I would recommend this to anyone looking to see the Grand Canyon. Bible
The views of the canyon were spectacular. We didn't go to the visitor center. Our guide, John was not a pleasant individual, criticizing other drivers, other tour companies, all religions, and grumbling about politics. It's obvious he is passionate about the canyon and nature but doesn't understand how to deal w people. I recommend the tour if you can get another guide.
Canyon Dave’s is the only way to tour the Grand Canyon. They are not only very known but add talks about the history of the Canyon and rock formations. My friend and I were having problems getting in and out of their van because of disability issues they saw the problem and had someone come in their car and take us on a private tour of the canyon. They went above board to make sure we enjoyed ourselves and they also helped us get around and up and down, etc.. This is the only way to see the Grand Canyon.
My son and I had a wonderful tour of the Grand Canyon with Canyon Dave Tours. Our guide Tania was very friendly and knowledgeable. She taught us a great deal about the Grand Canyon and took us places that we would never have visited on our own. We were both very impressed with the whole experience and highly recommend Canyon Dave Tours. Everything was handled for us including travel, snacks, drinks, and lunch. The price was very reasonable. We are so glad that we found Canyon Dave Tours and had Tania as our guide.
Exceeded expectations today on our trip to the Grand Canyon with Tania. She was so knowledgable about the Grand Canyon-how it was formed, the different layers of rock and the history and contributions of the early inhabitants. Tania made sure we saw every beautiful spot around the canyon. We had the good fortune of traveling with a very sweet couple from Canada. Lunch spot was delicious and timed perfectly! We could not have asked for a better day. We definitely recommend. Thank you Tania!
Great tour experience. Tania was a very knowledgeable guide who gave us great information on all aspects of the history of the canyon. I would recommend this tour to anyone looking to see the canyon and hear about its intriguing history.
Our guides Leo and Joel were amazing. Very informative, friendly and fun. Views were incredible. Do this tour!
We specifically signed up for a tour that would be easy on "Seniors" that were noy used to the altitude. Dave's Canyoun Tours delivered.
We had a wonderful tour with Leanore. She spent so much time with us and shared decades of detailed knowledge and history. You can tell this was not just a job, but a life's passion. My daughter and I left with learning about the History, the geology, the majesty of this beautiful area. I had been on another tour years ago, and it was so limited in comparison Canyon Dave tours, picked us up from our hotel in Flagstaff in the AM really focused on showing us the main attractions and a few off the beaten path. I would STRONGLY recommend them to anyone who wants to maximize their grand canyon experience.
Nice tour. Keaton, the tour guide, is helpful and knowledgeable. I learned many things about Grand Canyon from him.
Keaton arrived exactly at the arranged time and we had a quick trip up to the Canyon. There were only 9 of us on the trip so we only had two stops to pick people up en route. At the Canyon we visited several viewing spots on the South and East rim. Keaton explained a lot about the geology and history of the Canyon. Lunch at Maswik Lodge was provided - very tasty. We had a great day out.
Our full-day trip to the South and East rim was wonderful! Our guide, Keaton, has a wealth of knowledge of the geology, flora, and fauna of the Grand Canyon.
Our guide and interpretive naturalist was very knowledgeable about both the human and natural history of the Grand Canyon region. His emphasis was on the geology of the GC and adjacent areas, but he touched on plants, birds, and herps as well. He often used the questions posed by our group to prompt him into a longer discourse about a particular topic. As a former interpretive naturalist myself, I thought that he did a very creditable job!
Informative, educational and also fun. Keaton knowledge of the area was mind blowing. Recommend to go.
We enjoyed our Grand Canyon tour very much. Our guide was very knowledgeable and told us so many things that we would have never known on our own. We highly recommend the tour.
I booked this trip as wanted a smaller excursion to my surprise on day of journey I was the only person. My guide was Keaton an extremely personable guide who was outstanding in ensuring had an informative trip.
Keaton was our guide and he was excellent. Intelligent, knowledgeable about most everything Canyon related and a good conversationalist. I will say the van we were in was getting a little long in the tooth. It wasn’t uncomfortable, just not very new or plush. Bench seats and hard to manage seat belts. That having been said, it wasn’t uncomfortable and it was a great tour.
Keaton was a wonderful guide. He had bottled drinks of various types, binoculars, handouts of canyon flora, wildlife, geology. Knew good places for views and lunch. Drove well! Love the hotel pickup.
Our guide provided details on the canyon and took us to various location. Awesome experience. Details on the canyon and experience
Great tour knowledgeable guide Great personality learned a lot of rocks and different formations. Great job
This review was a day tour from Flagstaff, Arizona to the Grand Canyon South Rim which was a *FANTASTIC* experience! Keaton was amazing, an ENCYCLOPAEDIC knowledge of the Culture, History, Geography, Botany and Ecology of the Grand Canyon. A great guide, very personable and he added so much context to the tour and with each and every spot / stop. Lunch was great also, we really couldn’t rate this tour highly enough, fabulous, thank you Keaton!
Wow! This was my first time to the Grand Canyon, and Canyon Dave Tours was the best way to see it! Our guide Keaton picked my wife and me up at our hotel. Through the day he imparted vast amounts of info about the geology, flora, fauna, socio-economic and political history, Native habitations, and notable personages connected with the canyon. Very knowledgeable and personable. He took us to a variety of excellent viewpoints and provided binoculars to see them. The weather was perfect and the views were stunning. A hot lunch was included, as were soft drinks in the van. We had just 6 people in our tour group, so we got personalized attention. At the end of the day, we were returned safe and sound to our hotel. I can't imagine a better way to be introduced to this remarkable landmark. 10 out of 10!
a great 1 day adventure. no driving yourself, the driver also tells the history and knows a lot of the area. so great not to have to drive. You get to see a lot more on the bus.
John is an amazing guide, he provided us with much information and to took us to the most breathtaking corners!
Keaton was a great guide. We had a good day. Highly recommend if you have a full day for the canyon.
We got picked up from our hotel in Flagstaff which was nice considering it’s an hour and a half drive to the Grand Canyon. Our tour guide Jordan was very knowledgeable about the area and gave us a lot of information along the way. Once at the Grand Canyon we stopped at several great viewing points. What can I say it’s the Grand Canyon it’s absolutely stunning. He took us back and dropped us off at our hotel. Overall it was a great experience. I would highly recommend going.
Seeing the Grand Canyon for the first time is what it must be like going to Mars. It's hard to comprehend something existing that is so different than what could be imagined. Truly the Eighth Wonder of The World. That being said, Keaton was truly a wonderful man and guide on this tour, a fountain of knowledge. Word of warning: The walking is not difficult. But there are so many stops that by the end of the day the walking has added up. And, every stop has one, or two, souvenir shops! The final stop is at the biggest Navaho souvenir shop in the state. It's OK. Everybody has to make a living.
We had a really great time! Keaton was very knowledgeable and took us to great locations for the best views. We’d definitely recommend it!
John was a great tour guide. We learned a lot from his knowledgeable commentary about the Grand Canyon, local trees, plants, and animals. A highlight was a 15 minute talk about the type of rocks present in the canyon, which included actual rock samples and a colorful take home laminated identification brochure. Our tour included snacks, drinks and a delicious hot lunch of our choice. It was our first trip to the beautiful Grand Canyon. We thoroughly enjoyed our day with John, who we highly recommend!
Keaton was a fabulous tour guide. He was so knowledgeable about the canyon, how it was formed and the people that came in the early days. I learned a lot in those few hours. I would highly recommend Dave's Canyon Tours. The only suggestion I would make are the van needed better shocks! It was a bit of a rough ride getting to the canyon. 😀
A first- rate tour of one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World. It’s all about the guide: Keaton was very knowledgeable and passionate about everything about the Grand Canyon, including geology and history. Lunch, snacks and beverages were good. We would go again!
Guide was great. We were given so much great information that made another trip to the Grand Canyon later in the week. My son and his friend got good hiking advice, and they had a wonderful hike to the Colorado River. I would suggest the tour to start off your vacation and the tips you will receive will help make your time at the Grand Canyon very enjoyable. The day of our tour had some bad weather and the guide was able to change the tour to accommodate the weather.
Best tour from the Flagstaff, AZ area. Keaton was the best guide we’ve ever had. He was very knowledgeable and accommodating. Top notch!!!!
The lunch was great. Grand Canyon is great but the trip involved too many stops. A few less emails would be good.
What a wonderful day! John knew exactly where to take us. We saw elk, deer and even a herd of wild horses. Of course the views were spectacular and we had plenty of time to soak it all in. John is extremely knowledgeable and passionate about Geology. Canyon Dave should be proud! Great tour and highly recommend.
We had a fabulous tour of the Grand Canyon with our guide John. He communicated well and picked us up at our hotel on time. We were joined by 2 other couples. John was very friendly and knowledgeable of the canyon on the surrounding areas. We covered a lot of ground in just a few hours. We especially loved our picnic lunch at the rim edge.
Keaton was extremely informative and a great guide. He made many stops along the south and east rims. Would highly recommend using this company for. This was our first visit to the Grand Canyon and so glad we decided to book this tour.
Keaton was an excellent tour guide and had a wealth of information to share! Tour was well planned and enjoyable and views were outstanding! I was surprised by my reaction to the elevation, similar to motion sickness symptoms.
This is the best way to do the Grand Canyon, especially the first time. Everything was taken care of, we visited the best sights, and Keaton was a wealth of knowledge! He really helped make the history of the canyon come alive. I would TOTALLY do this tour again!
A comprehensive tour of the publicly accessible southeastern side of the Canyon. Keaton was an excellent guide.
