"Eric" was an amazing, knowledgeable and extremely efficient Tour Guide. His Tour Van was unexpected and surprisingly stocked with; Hot coffee, soft drinks and snacks! He even had high quality binoculars for all!! Rain? Ponchos for everyone. A Class operation. The Canyon speaks for itself. The extras that Eric thoughtfully included made the tour beyond expectations.

Eric was exceptionally good. He was well prepared with his comfortable van with accessories like binoculars, umbrella, good quality coffee etc. But more than that, Eric is very knowledgeable about Grand Canyon in general and he was very amicable! Kudos to Eric!

Grand Canyon Explorer tours was an amazing way to see The Grand Canyon, I would absolutely go again. Eric was an awesome tour guide with a lot of knowledge. He offered us a variety of snacks and drinks including hot apple cider, hot cocoa, and the best coffee my fiancee and I have had on our road trip so far. The day ended up being a cold and rainy one with a lot of cloud cover over the canyon, but Eric gave us so many facts about the area, including plant life, history of the Grand Canyon, wildlife, etc, that it didn't even bother us. Toward the end the clouds clear and we got a beautiful view of the canyon. I cannot recommend this experience enough.

This was a great way to see and learn about the park and see the sunset. Eric made this really fun and was very knowledgeable about the native plants and animals! We saw mule deer and elks along the way as well as all the best spots with Eric pointing out features we may have missed otherwise. We were given binoculars to use that really enhanced the views. All this followed by a very nice dinner. Don't hesitate to book this tour!

Great way to spend our anniversary. Well planned tour with lots of places to stop for pictures. Very well informed tour guide with lots of funny moments too. Would recommend to anyone interested in a guided tour. Especially since it was getting chilly. The van was warm with blankets provided.

Our tour guide was the best!!! The weather took some getting used to, the elevation definitely made the temps drop significantly, so dress in layers. The views were magnificent.

Despite the rain and wind, Eric kept us entertained and informed. His excitement about the park and it's nature was infectious.

Due to Mother Nature and the flash flood we were unable to eat at the lodge. The place out of the park was good food, just not what we were expecting!

Our guide was very knowledgeable about the canyon and the binoculars he provided were great. We were all able to ask questions about the mountain peaks and get the answers right away. We had to go out of the park for dinner due to the water problems from the flash flood

Eric is a very passionate nature enthusiast, a well of knowledge with a very interesting way of showing and presenting how important are the facts around the area. He will keep droping tips, ideas or pills of knowledge around the trip that make you think and make you a little smarter on every comment. I would absolutely recommend him as a guide, not only for his amazing wisdom, but how prepared and thoughtful is his tour, he has snacks of all types, water, coffee, tea, chargers available on the van, even blankets in case the temp drop is too much for certain tourist.

If you're on the fence about booking this tour, do it! This ended up being one of the highlights of our girls trip. The views at the South Rim were absolutely breathtaking. No matter how many photos you see beforehand, nothing prepares you for seeing the Grand Canyon in person, especially at sunset. We spent half the tour saying, "Wow," and the other half trying (and failing) to capture the beauty on our phones. Our tour guide and owner was fantastic. Friendly, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about sharing this incredible place with guests. He made the experience feel personal and relaxed, which we really appreciated. To make things even more memorable, the park happened to be dealing with a no-running-water situation during our visit. What could have been a disappointment turned into a fun adventure because our guide seamlessly adjusted the plans and took us outside the park for dinner. And honestly? We may have had some of the best pizza and pasta we've had in a long time. Not exactly what we expected on a Grand Canyon tour, but definitely not something we're complaining about! Between the stunning scenery, the amazing sunset, great company, and unexpectedly delicious dinner, this was an experience we'll be talking and laughing about for years. Highly recommend for anyone visiting the Grand Canyon, especially if you're traveling with your favorite group of girlfriends! 🌅🍕🥂💃

We enjoyed the tour. Eric took us to some wonderful lookouts. They were more majestic than the ones we saw on our own the day before!

I'll start with the positives, the Grand Canyon is very beautiful and the sunset was very pretty to look at. Dinner was also tasty. Unfortunately that is where the positives end. I truly cannot understand how Eric has received so many positive reviews. Hopefully for everyone else's sake we caught him on a bad day, but he was a downright terrible guide. The way he spoke was very harsh and abrupt. He was condescending and spoke almost exclusively about himself. Our entire group had a number of complaints and made the best of a bad situation together. Eric tried to embarrass us in front of the whole group by saying something we had said is incorrect and googling it through his Bluetooth (I can't lie that I felt some serious satisfaction when it said he was wrong). He also berated another guest in front of the whole group and basically said she would be the reason we would miss sunset because she was back on the bus 30 seconds after everyone else. I was so incredibly disappointed that this was my final experience at the Grand Canyon.

Eric was a great tour guide. He had lots of interesting commentary to share and took us to some wonderful spots along the south rim. His van was clean, comfortable and well equipped. His binoculars amazing and added greatly to the tour. Dinner consisted of going to a lodge on the rim and ordering off the menu (he allowed us to spend up to $30 for dinner/drink/etc). We are glad we took Eric's tour and would recommend it.

We loved it! Since we only had a short time at the Canyon, this allowed us to hit the high points and get a feel for the park. Eric was great!

We took this tour August 29th 2026. Eric Albanese was so amazing! After a heavy downpour of rain Eric met us at our meeting spot and the journey to one of the most beautiful sites we have ever seen. Eric was very informative and attentive to our needs. He was professional and personable and truly loves his job. He went above and beyond to show us the best spots. We saw so many deer in all our stops. He has hot cocoa, coffee, blankets as it gets cold in the evenings and he had some amazing binoculars. We highly recommended Eric if you are planning a trip. You won’t be disappointed.

Our guide Eric made our Grand Canyon visit a fabulous experience. He was knowledgeable, professional, punctual but relaxed, and fully prepared. He supplied us with binoculars and a brief tutorial about how to use them. He took us to the best views in the most accommodating order providing us historical, geological, and scientific explanations along the way. We were supplied with drinks, snacks, and clear directions. The van was clean and fully equipped. Eric even stopped for impromptu animal sightings. He took us to the best sunset view in the park. We were totally impressed and enjoyed ourselves thoroughly. We hope we can have him as our guide on our next visit.

Eric was a phenomenal guide. We happen to take this tour on a night where it was just my group, but that did not slow Eric down. He’s very knowledge and welcoming. This tour does not disappoint! The binoculars were an excellent touch, and the snack array was priceless! I’d give 7 stars if there were more stars to give.

This tour is really good, Eric is incredibly knowledgeable and his little snack selection was awesome. The binoculars gave an added addition to the tour. If I ever get back to the Grand Canyon I would do this tour again.

This tour was everything we could’ve hoped for! Eric our tour guide was so knowledgeable about the canyon and the entire area. He brought a large selection of snacks and refreshments (which I never had on any tour) The van was modern and comfortably equipped with AC, WiFi and phone chargers. Truly a blessing to have experienced this true wonder of the world like this.

He was extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and made sure everyone was comfortable and taken care of throughout the entire tour. The tour itself was absolutely beautiful. Eric took us to some amazing viewpoints and shared so much interesting information along the way. He pointed out the different peaks and features of the Grand Canyon, which made the experience even more meaningful. My family all agreed this tour was amazing.

We had an amazing time on this tour. Eric our guide took us to 5 viewing spots around the south rim. He had a ton of information about the park, animals that live in the area, the trees and bushes, history, and pretty much anything to do with the Grand Canyon. He gave us each a pair of good binoculars to use throughout the tour that really helped you see the river, trails, and people walking around the rim. Sunset was amazing and dinner was really good. I would do this tour again next time we visit.

It was very worthwhile as Eric our tour guide told us many interesting facts and showed us different views that we had not seen. He even gave us binoculars and taught us how to use. Allowed for seeing a lot of detail that would have gone unnoticed otherwise.

Keep in mind it gets pretty cool at night so bring something warm even in the summer! Had an amazing first experience!!
