Grand Canyon Experience Tour From Sedona

We booked the private Grand Canyon experience tour. It was amazing. Our guide Brad was incredibly knowledgeable about the area, the native tribes and geology. The stops and viewing points provided us with breathtaking views of the canyon. We also got to see elk, mules and a bit of snow. The day exceeded our expectations- we would highly recommend this tour!!

Our tour guide, Rasa, was so full of information. I can’t believe how much I learned and I’ve been to the Grand Canyon before! It was an incredible day from on-time pickup to an entertaining and informative ride to incredible stops at the Pueblo ruins, trading post and along the south rim.. I highly recommend!

Picked up at our hotel which was wonderful. Our tour guide was very informative. Due to water issues we had to purchase lunch at a grocery store. Not ideal We felt 2 of the stops were way to long as there really was nothing to do. It was a very long day also

This is a great tour, Brad was so knowable about the areas. Van was very comfortable and picked us up right at our resort. Well worth the money.

The Grand Canyon tour was great and our guide Rasa made it so informative and educational at the same time. I appreciated beauty. I’ve never seen and places that were not on my radar, such as the Hopi pueblos. I highly recommend this tour.

Sheldon was PHENOMENAL! Best tour guide we’ve ever had for anything! He stopped so we could buy rain ponchos and lunch since restaurants were closed. He was amazingly thorough with all instructions and thought of everything to make our day outstanding. He was a wealth of knowledge and entertaining as well. He knew just where to go to show us the best views. Our day was incredible!

Andrea was a wonderful guide! Kind, informative and punctual. Her knowledge of history and geology made it more interesting.

Really good tour, convenient pickup/return to our hotel. Comfortable van with A/C. Jason Sisolak, very good guide, lots of interesting facts. Knew when/where to stop for restroom breaks. Lunch on own at Cameron with plenty of time to shop. Canyon, breathtaking as always, couple of other stops very interesting as well. Our group only had 8 participants. Would we go back and use them again? Absolutely yes!

Jason was an absolute dream. He was so knowledgeable about everything from the history of the areas, the mesas and buttes we were seeing, and geology! He had an answer with accurate information while spinning it into great story telling. A top notch cultural interpreter!! We had a great time seeing the most we could in one day! Thank you!

We had the best time on this tour. Our guide, Andrea, was very knowledgeable and friendly. We really enjoyed spending time with her. She made sure everyone was taken care of. We were able to see areas that we didn’t even know existed! This was worth every penny and we highly recommend it.

Ed made this the most interesting trip, telling us the geographic and Indian tribe histories as we went. He knew where everything was at the large Native American Cameron Trading Post where we shopped, used nice restrooms, and each ordered our delicious lunches. with Ed’s good suggestions. He stopped at several Grand Canyon overlooks, describing each one. Ed made the trip exciting and comfortable, with the kind physical assistance I needed. I’d highly recommend this tour group’s comfortable and small vans—not at all crowded with great views offered. And hope Ed is your driver and guide.

Brian was a GREAT tour guide! Funny, knowledgeable, safe driver and really good with different clients from different areas of the country! We made several stops and loved experiencing the grandeur of the grand canyon!

Special Ed was super awesome. He gave us a history of the area and took care of us throughout the tour. We took great pictures and saw local wildlife. Superb!

We were happy we were able to go to the Wapatki site as well as the Grand Canyon. It was a great tour and Brad was a fantastic guide.

This tour is perfect for a solo traveler. We were a small group of 10. I was picked up at my hotel at the exact time I was told by a friendly gentleman named Stevee. Stevee had incredible knowledge about everything we saw on the trip from start to finish. He even told us a couple of bad dad jokes. He really kept us entertained and put on the best music during the trip back so we could relax and enjoy our views. The stops we made at the canyon were perfect. We saw a lot of the park without strenuous hikes. At each stop, Stevee was attentive to make sure that everyone was safe and even acted as photographer. I would definitely recommend this trip to any solo traveler who has the Grand Canyon on their bucket list. Thanks, Stevee and great western.

My husband and I booked a full day Grand Canyon Experience through the Sedona hotel we stayed at in April. Our tour guide, Jason Sisolak of Great West Tours, picked us up in the morning right at our hotel and off we went. What an incredible experience. Jason was knowledgeable about the entire area and beyond. We learned so much about the history and geology of the various areas we drove through and near. In addition, Jason was funny, kind, and could answer any question that was asked. The Grand Canyon was breathtaking. We thoroughly enjoyed our other stops as well including Sunset Crater Volcano National Monument and Wuptaki National Monument. It was an unforgettable day that we would highly recommend.

This is an excellent way to see the Grand Canyon with an experienced guide! Our extremely knowledgeable guide Charlie, got us in and out of beautiful spots avoiding and navigating the crowded areas during a very populated spring break. He prepared everything and we left having seen beautiful sites and with amazing pictures! I highly recommend!

Take a tour if you haven’t visited the park before. Ed is a great guide who is very knowledgeable about the GC and surrounding areas.

ThIs trip turned out to be one of the best tours we ever took while traveling. The tour to the Grand Canyon far exceed our expectations. Our tour guide, Brad, was outstanding in many ways. His knowledge was amazing. I learned more on this trip than if I took a geology on earth science. He also shared many other topics in relation to the Grand Canyon area. No doubt he knew his job but the fact he seemed to enjoy sharing with his tour group needs to be commended. The trip itself started as scheduled. Brad actually went beyond designated time for this tour just because of his dedication to the job and concern that we received the best possible tour that for this trip. The vehicle we were transported in was very comfortable which allowed all to enjoy this trip all that much more for we spent a lot of time traveling around from one site to another. No doubt, this particular tour company, as well as Brad, wanted to make sure all of us traveling on the Grand Canyon Tour received as much information about the area. Highly recommend this tour group to anyone for future travel.

This was a perfect day! Heading north out of Sedona in the morning was breathtaking. Stops were appropriately timed for restroom breaks and quick snacks. Our guide was a total pro and a pleasure to learn from. I got to see so much of Arizona I wouldn't have otherwise seen, and Cameron Trading Post was the cherry on top at the end of our exploration. So glad to check the Grand Canyon off my bucket list! NOTE: If you opt for the sunset tour in the fall/winter, keep a very close eye on the weather. The wind became cold and it started raining around 3pm at the GC in mid-October; glad I switched to the 7am tour.

Our Grand Canyon tour was excellent. We were picked up at our hotel and our tour guide Al gave us great information along the way about the history of the Canyon, the Navaho's, etc. He gave us plenty of time during each stop along the Canyon to take in the scenery, take pics, etc. We got to experience the varying temperatures with the elevation changes during the drive to the Canyon. We had a great group of people in the van which added to our experience. He even picked a great place to stop for lunch. The cost of the tour was reasonable and well worth the 11-12 hour fun-filled, informative tour of the Canyon.

This is an amazing and efficient day at the Grand Canyon! We had never seen it before, and it is breathtaking. Our knowledgable guide Dom made multiple stops so we could see different vantage points. It was a full-day trip but worth it. There was only one problem: our guide was wearing a keffiyeh, signaling his support for terrorism and the murder of innocent men, women, and children. It is the equivalent of wearing a KKK hood to work. He was outwardly personable and polite, yet I felt uncomfortable and slightly unsafe because of this. Wearing hate symbols should not be permitted by this tour company, and our otherwise good experience was tainted by this expression of cruelty and poor judgment by both operator and guide.

The entire experience was incredible. Jason was the tour guide. He was very knowledgeable about Sedona and The Grand Canyon. He told us so many facts about both. I learned so much. He was also very sweet and accommodating. He didn't rush us if we wanted to spend more time in one area. He made the trip very pleasurable. I'm so glad I went. I highly recommend this tour if you've never been to the Grand Canyon!

Our tour guide was Jason, and he was fantastic! Not only was he like a professional photographer with my iPhone, he was a walking encyclopedia - it was like getting a science and history lesson in one! I learned so much on this tour! Even though it was super foggy for most of our tour (bad weather day), Jason tracked down the best spot for us and we eventually got magnificent views of the Grand Canyon! It made it that much more rewarding. Highly recommend Jason and this tour!

This trip was a full day tour, driving through Flagstaff and Cameron Trading Post on the way to the Grand Canyon. Brian was an excellent and thorough guide. Pick up and drop off back to hotel. 10/10

Stanton did a good job. Could have been a little more informative during the journey. It is definitely advantageous to use a tour for this lengthy journey from Sedona.

Charlie Torello took us on an 11 hour tour of the South Rim of the Grand Canyon. We had a professional guide who was considerate, knowledgeable, and made every minute a truly enjoyable experience. Definitely a 5 star experience!!!!

Informative and entertaining! We enjoyed the experience start to finish. There were stops prior to Grand Canyon that added to the fun. A volcano site and a Pueblo museum and grounds. Charlie was a really great guide! We learned so much about the history of Arizona and beyond. Highly recommend. Well worth the cost. It got cool at the Canyon, so bring a jacket!

We had an excellent tour of the Grand Canyon with Jason who was very informative and personable. The trip also included a visit to ancient Indian ruins and to a volcano. It was a small group in a comfortable van. Would highly recommend.

The trip is magical and Sheldon is an awesome tour guide. He took us to the typical stops but also included his favorite spots for the best views.

We were a little concerned with a full day excursion, but this trip was outstanding. Our guide, Rasa, was top notch and full of history and stories to pass the time. He made sure to take pictures for all tourists in our group and did it from different angles to get the best shots. Rasa kept checking to see if we needed water or to use the restroom and was always asking if we had questions. It was a great tour and we would recommend it to others.

Had a great day doing the Grand Canyon with Ruins and Volcanoes Tour. We made three stops on our way to the Grand Canyon and Jason gave us lots of information about all of the sites. He was very knowledgable and fun. Lunch at the Cameron Trading Post was an experience not to be missed especially when you are with someone who can recommend what to try. Highly recommend.
