I highly recommend this tour. We had multiple stops in the Grand Canyon, ample shopping time and our guide, Charlie was very knowledgeable and entertaining.

Had a magnificent second tour with Sheldon. He is a master of his craft! Great vistas with even greater vantage points due to Sheldons experience and knowledge of the viewing areas. Historical, geographical, and anthropological insights at every bend. I swear the guy was even controlling the weather the day we went. GREAT TOUR!
Great trip! Andrea was knowledgeable and friendly!
Brian our tour guide was amazing from start to finish. Pickup at the hotel was perfect, train perfect, guided tour perfect. Brian knew so much about the history, geology, and so much more. By the second vista my 67 year old mother was done and Brian keep her company so my son and I could continue. Could not have had a better experience. Thank you so much for making our vacation amazing and special.
Many opportunities for taking pictures. Tour Guide is very knowledgeable and friendly. Loved our trip
Our tour guide Jason Sisolak picked us up at our hotel right on time and we headed out. Jason’s knowledge was incredible about the whole area up to, including, and on the way back from the Grand Canyon. We learned so much about the history and the geology of the region. The views of the Grand Canyon took our breath away! Jason was friendly, had a great sense of humor, and took good care of us. We really enjoyed our whole day on this tour and we highly recommend it.
Not enough time to shop at the gift shop when we ate lunch. Lots of getting in & out of the van. JR (our guide) was very informative & personable.
Great day trip! Comfortable, clean, convenient. Very accommodating. Our guide ( Rasa) was knowledgeable, articulate, and personable. This ranks as one of the best day tours I have experienced.
Personalized tour with expert guide (Jeff) who seemed to know about everything from geology to Native American legends. We spent just the right amount of time at all the right places. Highly recommended.
Great tour, we saw all of the Grand Canyon that we needed to see. The tour guide picked us up at our hotel in Flagstaff. He was very knowledgeable and friendly and kept us entertained with interesting information about the canyon, Arizona, and whatever else popped into his head. Safety was a top concern and reflected in how he drove and warnings about the possible ice in the walkways at the various stops. I highly recommend!
Charlie was a great guide. He gave us lots of information. Learned some things I didn't know. Liked the size of the tour. Would recommend.
First time on an all day tour and the time flew by. Then thanks to our jovial and knowledgeable guide and driver Ed. Would highly recommend this tour for anyone wanting to to experience the Grand Canyon
Full day of information and awesome scenery. The lunch stop was also a wonderful experience. Exceeded all expectations!
Steve was our tour guide and he had copious amounts of information about not only the area and the Grand Canyon, but about history and geography of all over America! He was prompt and allowed us to kind of guide how long we’d like to stay at certain places! It was a great experience and I will recommend to anyone I talk to that this is the way to tour the Grand Canyon! He also offered to take memorable pictures. Overall amazing experience!
The views were out of this world, however it was not all sunshine and flowers. Pick up was advised to be 0815. Collected at 0840. Delivery back to hotel was to be 17.00. Actual time returned to hotel 16.00. 1.5 hours paid for not received. Time could have been used at additional viewpoints. Only stopped at 3 viewpoints. Stop for lunch was at 10.45 with lunch at 11.00. 11.00 is not lunch time. Another family group on our tour were dropped off first. 2 adults and 2 small children. When driver climbed back into van she was livid that no tip had been offered. The family were from Singapore where it is frowned on to offer tips. The driver reconstructed with my wife and I and the remaining 2 ladies on board, about not being offered a tip. She was most upset and I think she wanted to bully my wife and I top tip the 15% that she wanted. My tour cost approx 400 $. She wanted a tip of 60$. When she started yelling about no tip received I changed my tip from $20 and gave her only $10. I am sure that she was not pleased when we left the bus.
Views were spectacular, but our tour guide Brad added to the experience. His knowledge of the people and area was fantastic.
Ed was the BEST tour guide. We booked on a Thursday and it wasn’t too crowded. Picked up at our hotel in Flagstaff and dropped us off at our hotel. Everything ran on time and the van was comfortable with 8 other passengers.
The Grand Canyon Tour from Flagstaff was excellent all around. Our group included 5 adults and 6 children (three teens, a 10 year old and two 9 years old). Our guide Stanton picked us up at our Airbnb house in Flagstaff at 8:30 and drive us to the east entrance to the GC, an entrance with much shorter wait times than the ones on the western side of Flagstaff. On the way we stopped at Cameron Trading Post to shop for souvenirs and authentic Native art pieces. For the next several hours we visited several different viewpoints and sites around the GC. Stanton was very knowledgeable and answered all our questions. He was also very personable and helpful in general. The van was comfortable and easy to get in and out. We returned to our Airbnb around 5 pm. I would highly recommend this tour and Stanton as your guide.
We had a great time on our tour! Our guide, Charlie, pointed out areas of interest throughout the tour and provided a lot of trivia. We had plenty of stops along the canyon for different views with a good amount of time at each stop. The lunch stop had several options for different types of food (purchase your own food). Fantastic trip!
Excellent communication from the ease of booking to the time of pick up. After several long days planning routes at different places for area visits it was great just to relax and enjoy while someone else drove.
Our guide was very informative. He knew so much history and kept us engaged the entire trip. There were so many stops with just the right amount of time to get out and explore the amazing views! We never felt rushed. Lunch on the Indian reservation was so good!
There are so many options to consider when deciding how you want to experience the grand canyon. Great West Tours is the way to go! Everything was planned and we just got to sit back and enjoy. Our tour guide Stanton was very knowledgeable and made sure we had all the info we needed to explore every stop and make the most use of our time. Wonderful way to spend the day experiencing the grand canyon from multiple sites!
Kurt was very informative about the whole north Arizona landscape and the Grand Canton landscape. He explained the different life zones in the canyon and took us to points with fewer people. It was a great time for us and our grandkids. Thank you!
Well I can honestly say this tour over-delivered and then some! I highly recommend! Whether you’re staying in Sedona or Flagstaff, don’t miss out on this! It was a small group, so we weren’t being herded like cattle into various stops. Our guide, Stanton, was excellent, very knowledgeable and ensured we were looked after all day. I can’t say enough good things about this tour. Sadly, the bar was set high with this tour, so when I went on a subsequent tour from a different location with a different operator, I was a bit disappointed. I would book this again in a heartbeat!
Beautifull nature in it's best, god's best work.I will be back, no question ask.Grand Canyon Tour is unforgeteble experience. Thanks Viator
Taking the tour allowed us to focus on the amazing, ever changing scenery and not on driving. Our guide Kurt shared his knowledge and passion for the history and uniqueness of the area. At no time did we feel rushed. Kurt allowed us plenty of time to browse, shop, eat, and see the sights. Plus, we spotted a herd of elk grazing on the edge of the road. To say that the canyon is GRAND is an understatement. Amazing? No. Breathtaking? No. Awe inspiring? No. There are no words to describe it. You can only experience it’s grandeur. Booking was a breeze. Communication was top notch. Ease of pickup at our hotel was flawless. We will definitely recommend this tour to our friends and family.
Really enjoyed Jason and his narrative. Of course the Grand Canyon itself was the most memorable. The lunch was also very good with unique delicious entrees. Enjoyed shopping at the Indian shop. Great all around trip.
The name of our tour was "Grand Canyon with Ruins" $189pp leaving from Sedona. Lunch was included, though we did not have it ourselves. We were picked up from Arabella hotel at 7:25am by a delightful tour guide/driver named Andrea Corral. She has lived in Sedona for 20+ years so is v knowledgeable of the area. The van seated about 10 passengers, but there were only 7 of us altogether so room to move! Andrea was very personable, spoke clearly and audibly for the back of the van, and filled us in with facts of the different areas we drove through or stopped at (the Wupatki pueblo ruins, the Navajo Nation and the south rim and Grand Canyon village). She was a careful driver. This tour was a great way to see the Grand Canyon in a short timeframe, without the hassle of getting park passes and parking a vehicle. We entered the south rim gate from the east end, no vehicle queue at all. On the way there we got to see Little Colorado canyon, one of the largest side canyons - 45 mi long starting at Cameron on the Navajo nation where we'd had lunch, and Marble canyon (where you can actually see the Colorado River at the bottom of the canyon, unlike at the more western main gate Access point). We had plenty of pitstops for toilet breaks and/or shipping. At the rim we had about an hour to wander, sightsee or walk down the Bright Angel trail for about 1k. It was closed below that for maintenance. I would highly recommend this tour as an introduction to the Grand Canyon and seeing it hassle free. We'll be back to see it in more depth!!
Our first time to the Flagstaff/Sedona/Grand Canyon and my husband and I agreed that touring with Great West was the best way to go. We were picked up from our hotel on time, the van was comfortable, and we returned at the expected time. Our guide was wonderful (Brian)--so much information, conversation and patience. He showed a true love for what he does and where he lives. Well worth it.
Brad was our tour guide and he was absolutely wonderful. A wealth of knowledge and very considerate of my disability. I had a better experience than I thought I would. Thanks Brad. And thanks Gail for keeping me updated, really appreciated that.
Mark, our tour guide, was amazing! He was very educated on the Grand Canyon and area around it. He was kind, patient, fun! Would highly recommend Mark and this tour!
Cat our guide did a great job providing information about the area along with ensuring everyone on the tour had a good experience. We saw many beautiful views and had a picnic in a beautiful spot.
I hope you get the tour guide Matt Nichols. He made it so much more fun. He may look like Dog the Bounty Hunters younger brother, 😂 but this man is amazing!! He has so much facts and is so knowledgeable about everything. I felt very safe with him driving us around. He is funny, witty and just made the trip such a better experience
We had such a great day. Matt, out guide was fantastic! His knowledge and humor made the trip even more fun. Highly recommend.
Wonderful tour with great sights and interesting facts by Brian, our tour guide! Brian was personable and very informational. The sights were incredible. The Indian tacos were yummy!
Ty was our tour guide and what an AMAZING time we had. He made sure our day was perfect and took us to see gorgeous views. He is courteous, reliable, on time and we never felt rushed. Thank you Ty. The Montero's are so happy and look forward to seeing you again very soon.
