Grand Canyon And Sedona Day Adventure From Scottsdale Or Phoenix

We enjoyed not having to drive ourselves. Cody, our guide took us to the best places for picture taking views. Our weather was perfect and the experience was well worth the price! If you get bored in long rides, bring ear buds and listen to your own music, etc. You are provided with lunch on the go which gave us extra time at each site. Wraps, chips, in that nature. Cody was great at keeping our group on track of time. We did sneak into other groups where the tour guide gave history of the grand canyon and the rest of the time we were on our own. Which was fine. Cody gave us great informative things while in the van. Definitely would recommend this tour to our family and friends.

Absolutely wonderful day. Cody was knowledgeable and friendly! Cody had so much information of the area and took us to such scenic places. Long day but was well worth the cost, would absolutely do this again!

This day trip was absolutely fantastic! Cody was prompt for pickup. The ride was smooth allowing for quick relief stops and informative history along the way. The canyons and Sedona were very beautiful! Cody was very clear with instructions and time frame expectations. It was a great experience!

Great tour! Our tour was with 6 other tourists in a small luxury van (8 total - room for 12) Cody was the best! Very knowledgeable and friendly. Also very efficient. He monitored road construction traffic to find the fastest routes so we could enjoy the most time at the Grand Canyon and in Sedona. Tour even included one of the most scenic routes from the Grand Canyon and Sedona. Simply beautiful! Drop off and pick up at our hotel was so convenient. Rest stops were plenty. It was so nice to just leave the driving and logistics to Cody so that we can enjoy the Grand Canyon and Sedona worry-free! A full size lunch was included! Wraps, sandwiches or salads with a drink. Nap on the way back to your hotel was also included! If you want to experience one of the seven wonders of the world, this tour is the one you want! Thanks, Cody, for making our tour so memorable!

Cody is very well versed in grand canyon and surrounding area lore . He does a great job keeping the group on point and moving. We really enjoyed the day! It is a long day so be prepared!

It is unfortunate, but I would not book this tour if Cody is going to be your host. I have read many good reviews people have given after having a tour with him. We were not the lucky ones. It started from the moment he picked us up. He did not even greet us. I saw a man standing in our hotel lobby and asked if he was Cody and he said yes and looked at his board and confirmed our names and instructed us the car was outside. All afternoon he scolded everyone on the tour regarding our time punctuality. On one restroom stop two ladies were a few minutes late getting back to the van. After that he made sure to tell us every time we stopped how important it was to keep to the schedule and not be late. He even went so far as to tell us on our stop to pick up lunch, which we had to eat in the vehicle, that we had to immediately pick our drinks when we walked into the store prior to going to the restroom to make it easier on him. It was as if we were unconvincing him all day long. This was a family vacation. It was disappointing to have our day trip tarnished by his selfish and aggressive behavior all day long, it was a 13 hour day. Save yourself the grief, choose another provider. I feel Cody does not understand that his job is in the Hospitality Business and as such it is his job to make guests feel welcome and appreciated.

The tour truly exceeded our expectations. Cody was punctual, friendly, and also very informative. We're already looking forward to returning to Arizona for another tour with him.

The shuttle stopped at a few prime viewpoints in the Grand Canyon with ample time at each for exploring and photos.

This was a phenomenal trip for a family that wanted to experience parts of Arizona but not do multiple days of hiking, etc. Cody picked us up on time and a nice drive up to the Grand Canyon, thru Flagstaff. He was super knowledgeable explaining not only the day but also facts, and history. This was the perfect way to see the Grand Canyon and Sedona and enjoy the drive. I would highly recommend this trip: he got us lunch at a family friendly restaurant and enough bathroom stops to keep kids comfortable. Book this, you won’t regret it!!

We had an excellent day with Cody. He was super knowledgeable, kept everything moving to the intended timeline and was extremely organized. The included lunch was far better than expected and there were plenty of stops for stretching and bathroom breaks. The views of the Grand Canyon were spectacular as were the views of the Red Rock area. Highly recommend this tour!

The trip was great with plenty of planned stops for bathroom/snacks. The guide was knowledgeable about the locations and offered information about or stops. It is a long day but well worth it to experience the Grand Canyon and Sedona!

Cody knows his stuff. We had an enjoyable day with him to the Grand Canyon and Sedona. He is super organized as well as personable. Just be prepared for a loooong day. He met us promptly at 6 am. We got back to Scottsdale at 7:30. Highly recommend his tour.

The Grand Canyon and Sedona sights are absolutely stunning, but I’d suggest going with a different tour company. Our guide, Cody, completely spoiled the experience. We booked well in advance, choosing this tour specifically because they offered pickup and drop-off at our resort—a huge selling point for us since it was our first trip to Arizona and we didn’t know the area. The night before, Cody called to say he didn’t want to pick us up at the hotel and told us to Uber to a spot more convenient for him. When we declined, he seemed annoyed and changed our pickup time from 6:00 am to 5:15 am. We didn’t mind the earlier time as long as we were picked up at the hotel. When he arrived, it was dark, and we couldn’t read the company name on the van. Many tour groups were at our hotel, picking up customers for day trips. He came up to us and asked, “Did you book a trip to the Grand Canyon?” I replied, “Yes — are you Cody?” No "Good Morning, I am Cody", or "Hi, I am Cody with XYZ company", nothing. He never mentioned his name or his business, so I wasn’t sure if he was with the tour we had booked. His reply was curt, and he seemed visibly annoyed. This set the tone with him for the remainder of the day. At the last stop for the day, as we were boarding the van to head home, he told us that he would be dropping us somewhere and an Uber would be taking us to the hotel. I declined the offer and asked that he honor our agreement and return us to our hotel. He was immediately upset and asked why we were being unreasonable, that he does this all of the time. I again just asked that he honor the original agreement. As other customers were seated, he started yelling at us, claiming he didn’t understand. I told him he was ruining our vacation and asked him to please stop. He acted like a spoiled child not getting his way. I explained that this should have been a private conversation with us, not something shouted over other customers, as it was making everyone uncomfortable. He insisted he didn’t understand and questioned why we wouldn’t do it if he was paying for the Uber. Again, we simply asked to be returned to the pickup location. I told him that he was rude from the first interaction at the hotel and he cut me off yelling "that is because I had to get up an hour early because of you!" - clearly making this all about him. He did return us to our hotel, after dropping all of the others off and stopping for gas. One additional note for anyone considering using this service: The lunch is provided but has to be eaten in the crowed van as you balance it on your lap as being bounced along the highway. It would have been nicer if it had been coordinated with one of the stops along the way where it could have been enjoyed in a more leisurely setting. Do NOT use this vendor if your host is Cody. He clearly should choose a different profession because he does not treat paying customers with respect

Excellent guide/driver. The itinerary was better than we expected. Everything went as expected. Cody kept things moving and took care of us. Communication prior to getting picked up was excellent.

My husband and I spent our 25th Anniversary at the Grand Canyon South Rim. We also visited Sedona. It was absolutely amazing! Our tour guide, Cody, shared a plethora of insight about the Grand Canyon and surrounding historical areas. Additionally, we enjoyed the lunch that was included in the trip package. This is a must do activity if you have an opportunity to visit the Scottsdale/Phoenix area. DB from Alabama

This was a wonderful tour, but a very long day! Well worth it though, the weather was perfect, which we understand doesn't happen all the time, lunch was very good and the tour operator was very knowledgeable, The one downside was that we weren't picked up at our hotel, which Viator indicates on their website that you will be. We had to drive about 20 minutes to meet our tour guide, and then of course had to drive back to our hotel at the end of a long trip.

The perfect way to see the Grand Canyon and Sedona! Got picked up at our hotel and after 3 hours (with stops along the way to stretch our legs and grab snacks), we arrived to beautiful ( if not chilly) weather! Cody made the trip interesting with tidbits along the way, while also giving us time to relax and enjoy the views! A "must do" when visiting AZ!

It was a very long day, but so wonderful to be able to maximize our time in Scottsdale by doing this tour with Kody. It was a taste of both the South Rim of the Grand Canyon and the Sedona area. We got a chance to walk around both places on a beautiful day. The tour was very well organized and ran smoothly. There were enough bathroom breaks and lunch was delicious. The only negative is that the van was a bit uncomfortable with all the seats filled. Highly reccomended.

We had a fantastic day with Cody and our group on this tour. Having always wanted to see the Grand Canyon, the format allowed us to see great viewpoints of the North Rim, and the Village was another unique area. The downtown Sedona with the view of red rock formations was excellent. Cody had extensive knowledge of the area and shared many insights and tips to make it so enjoyable. There were plenty of stops and time to explore. Highly recommend.

This tour was efficient and informative. Cody does a great job at keeping the group on time but never feeling rushed. The amount of time spent at each stop is perfect. We really enjoyed our day and would recommend to anyone wanting to see the Grand Canyon.

The tonight sound long but it is broken up with a few stops in the morning. Heed the warning about the temperature there. Cody is a wealth of knowledge and a great driver. Of course the views are amazing.

As a person born ,raised and educated in this glorious part of the country,you can not find a better professional to guide you through this journey. It was indeed the peak of our stay in Arizona for a week.

What an awesome experience! Cody was very knowledgeable about the area as well as the Grand Canyon. He answered a lot of questions before we could ask them. He knew the backstory to all the scenery. The tour allowed enough time for us to experience each location. We never felt rushed or that we took too long at a location. Lunch was good and even though we ate on the run, the meals were great for road traveling.

This was my second visit to the Grand Canyon and Sedona, however, having a tour guide provided a different experience filled with interesting history and conversation. A boxed lunch, beverage, and water were provided in the total cost. The price seems expensive, but falls within the average cost range.
