Glassblowing Experience In Sedona

CARL!!!! He made the experience, which was already cool, very rad. His attention to safety, to each guest, and for the finished product was notable. A highlight of our trip and very worth the time and cost.

A must do! This was one of the coolest experiences and was definitely worth it. Upon arrival you can choose to stick with the flower or upgrade to a bowl, pumpkin, or cactus for additional cost. I chose the cactus and it was so cool! Carl was fantastic teacher and we learned so much about the process of glass blowing. We also paid $30 for shipping our two items since we needed to leave early the next day, which was a nice option.

Fun experience balancing exposure and skill for a great final project with just enough hands on. Carl was awesome guide we had a blast.

It was a lot of fun! Karl was laid back and funny. We really enjoyed the class as well as the glass pieces we took home.

Jordan and Greg were amazing. They were professional, gave clear instructions, and we were able to feel creative in the color choices. I would definitely go back again!

Totally enjoyed this experience. Having never done anything like this before, my daughter chose to make the cactus, and I chose the tumbler (photos shared). We were able to select our own colors. Greg, our instructor, was excellent. He was very knowledgeable and very patient. The space is very hot due to the furnaces, but the fans made it comfortable. We were in a class with 4 other individuals. We highly recommend this experience. The vibe of the place is awesome. Every staff member we encountered was friendly and approachable. The store is clean, well organized, and the items available for purchase are high quality. There are other experiences offered at this location. We will definitely return for the Stained Glass experience.

We took a glassblowing class as part of our 5th anniversary trip, and it ended up being one of the highlights of our trip! It was such a unique experience, and getting to create something together made it even more special. Jordan was an amazing instructor patient, friendly, and made the whole experience so much fun. My wife and I each made a piece, a pumpkin and a flower, that we’ll now always have as a reminder of our anniversary. The shop itself was also wonderful, with so many beautiful pieces from different artists. Austin was incredibly helpful in making sure our creations were carefully packaged and would make it all the way back to Nevada safely. We’re so glad we decided to do this class, and it’s an experience we’ll look back on for years to come!

This was a phenomenal experience! Carl was very informative, explaining processes and teaching how the art of making glass work. It was like being on the set of Netflix's "Blown Away."

While there is some hands on, the experience was explained well, and, due to its relatively short duration, this artwork would take extensive time to learn. That being said, it was informative and fun to make the object of your choice. I felt safe, all was well explained, and any questions were welcomed and spoken about.

The process was explained clearly. They made it fun and relatable. We had a wonderful time from start to finish.

Amazing experience! Our pieces we made look professional! Jones is a great teacher and worked with my autistic son with all his sensory heights. Each person took about 15-20 minutes to make their piece. There are options when you arrive. A reservation is recommended.

The staff was very freindly and welcoming. Safety was priority and rules covered well while still keeping the experience very engaging. Our group only consisted of three participants which made the experience even more interactive and we were able to ask lots of questions and had time to learn more about glass blowing processes. Highly recommend!

Great Experience! The instructors and staff were amazing! We were walked through every step with clear instructions and expectations. Our projects came out amazing and we enjoyed the whole process. The gallery had so many beautiful pieces it was hard to choose what to buy. Definitely would do again and highly recommend!

Our daughter-mother trip was made complete with our exciting glassblowing class. Not only are we going home with beautiful pictures but also a beautiful piece of glass art that we created. The class was really cool and interesting. Karl made the class a lot of fun while giving us good instructions to make our glass pieces. He was very helpful to hear how we wanted to color our pieces and guide us to make awesome glassware!

Carl was AMAZING, so entertaining and a great energy/vibe, we loved our class with him! We recommend this class to anyone looking for something different to do while traveling. They will package up your creation and also ship it too for a few if necessary.

This is a MUST DO in Sedona! Our instructor made us feel very comfortable which is important because our daughter is on the spectrum. We each made something different and unique. I’m trying to go again before we return back home.

The classes are reasonably priced and the instruction is awesome. I took a class one day with Jordan and made a flower and the next day with Karl and made a bowl. My best souvenirs are ones I get to make myself and these will rank at the top! The classes appear to be limited to 6 which is a good crowd for a 2 hour class. But you can leave after you have made your piece if you don’t want to stay in the hot furnace studio. Your piece will be ready for pick-up the following day since it needs to slowly cool—so keep in mind this is not a make and take! The atmosphere is friendly and the gallery is filled with exquisite pieces for sale, including jewelry.

It is amazing how it all works! The instruction was terrific and the safety measures were very reassuring. We had Carl and he was very patient and funny. So glad we found this adventure!

It's fun. Instructor did not take over unless needed. Explain the process prior to each application of glass particles. Safety was a priority.

IF YOU'RE VISITING SEDONA, THIS IS A MUST. FANTASTIC FOR KIDS/TWEENS/TEENS AND ADULTS. Our group of five had a private class yesterday with Jordan Ford--myself, my husband, my niece, and her two daughters, 12 and 14. Jordan is a gifted teacher. He's funny, engaging, incredibly skilled, and puts everyone at ease. I was amazed at all we accomplished in a two hour session. Everyone got to make something to keep. The class is very hands-on--expect to be choosing your colors, using the tools, blowing into a metal pipe, shaping your piece, etc. All of this is done under careful, expert guidance from Jordan. I cannot recommend it highly enough. Book a class for your family. Or for a friend group. A birthday or a special occasion. Beautiful way to do something new and make sweet memories. We so enjoyed the glass blowing experience. We admire all the glass that was on display. My bowl came out wonder with our instructor. He was a good teacher and it was very safe

Really fun workshop! The guys were great at explaining the process, instructions, and both had a fun sense of humor! Would defiantly recommend if you're looking for something fun to do for just a few hours!

It is a one-of-a-kind experience. I really actually thought that I was going to be the one creating my flower. In reality the instructor does most of the creating and I was the helper.

For my wife and I it took less than an hour to make two glass flowers. The staff is very gracious and knowledgeable and you can come as you are.

While in Sedona, my husband and I attended a glass-blowing workshop at The Melting Pot. As a lover of all things glass, this was the best hands-on experience I’ve had. The studio is beautiful and the instructors are personal and friendly. If you’re in the area, I highly recommend this amazing adventure!

Expect to create and learn. Guided by safety conscious and fun instruction. We loved doing this as a group!

With a great experience with the glass blowing class, Carl was the instructor very knowledgeable. He was professional, very friendly and encouraging. My girlfriend was afraid of the heat in the fire and Carl took extra time to work with her to walk her through and to make sure she was comfortable with what they were doing. Again great experience highly recommended a must do in Sedona.

We had a great time in this class. The instructor was very informative and took time to explain everything that we were doing. It's a small group setting which made it more enjoyable. As an added bonus you come away with a memorable keepsake from your trip to Sedona. We would definitely recommend this class.

Great experience. We’ve watched glass blowing before but this was actually getting to do it. Loved the process, great instruction, and small group size. Our 12 and 16 year olds loved it. After spending a week mostly hiking, this added some variety to our trip. Would highly recommend!

An amazing experience for my family. I've got teenagers that are too cool for just about everything, but even they had a great time. The staff did an amazing job explaining what we were doing and showing us what to do. We can't wait to pick up our creations tomorrow!

What a fun addition to our Sedona experience! Austin was a great instructor and made us feel relaxed and competent while we learned this new skill. The studio was clean and well supplied and safety was an obvious priority. This is a must do for anyone who loves to create! We will definitely be back!
