Our guide/ driver was extremely knowledgeable and shared many interesting facts related to current conditions with each different areas along the route . This made the long trek from Phoenix seam short. Ample rest breaks made the trip less stress full and in hurried. Having a driver gave me the opportunity to actually see the sites instead of concentrating on the road or traffic. We had a delightful time.

Itinerary
We will visit Chapel of the Holy Cross in Sedona. The Chapel of the Holy Cross is a church built right into the red rocks of Sedona, Arizona. On the sides and in the front, Sedona sprawls out majestically, a sweeping landscape of red rocks, trees, and nestled houses. Bell Rock and Courthouse Butte are visible to the south, and Cathedral Rock to the west. We will grab a bite to eat, and then we will head to the Grand Canyon! Driving time from Phoenix to Sedona is 2 hours.
Oak Creek Canyon is famous the world around for its spectacular scenery. We will stop at Oak Creek Canyon Vista. Here you can get a bird's eye view of what awaits you down the road and, at the same time, shop for Native American jewelry and other craft items from the local Native American artists who set up displays along the pathways.
Grand Canyon National Park, in Arizona, is home to much of the immense Grand Canyon, with its layered bands of red rock revealing millions of years of geological history. Viewpoints include Mather Point, Yavapai Observation Station and architect Mary Colter’s Lookout Studio and her Desert View Watchtower. Lipan Point, with wide views of the canyon and Colorado River, is a popular, especially at sunrise and sunset. Driving time from Sedona to the Grand Canyon is 2.5 hours. Driving time from the Grand Canyon back to Phoenix is 3.5 hours. We will have two 15 minute bathroom breaks on the way to the Grand Canyon and two 15 minute bathroom breaks on the way back to Phoenix for a total time of 60 minutes for the 4 breaks.

Enjoyed every minute! Naala was very informative with historical information that she shared during the tour . Naala pointing out the vegetation, land scapes along the way to the Grand Canyon. The tour was 12.5 hours but the day flew by ! Worth every penny !
I had an absolutely amazing experience with Elegant Travel LLC / Naala on my Grand Canyon day trip! From start to finish, everything was smooth, well-organized, and stress-free. The transportation was comfortable, punctual, and very professionally handled. Naala was knowledgeable, friendly, and made the journey both informative and enjoyable. I never felt rushed, and the itinerary was perfectly planned to maximize our time at the Grand Canyon while still allowing us to relax and take in the breathtaking views. What truly stood out was the attention to detail and the genuine care for guests. It felt personal, not just like another tour group. If you’re looking for a reliable, professional, and memorable Grand Canyon experience, I highly recommend Elegant Travel LLC. Five stars without hesitation!
We had a wonderful trip to the Grand Canyon. Our guide, Naala, was knowledge, fun, a great driver and flexible with our family. It was the best tour I've ever been on. I highly recommend!
Wear comfortable shoes and be prepared for walking and climbing lNaala was very informative and pleasant a great overall experience
Nala was a great guide very knowledgeable and an excellent driver
Fantastic trip! Really enjoyed the experience and it was something I thought I would never do in my life. Tour guide was amazing and knowledgable. Very personal and was interested in getting to know our group. Sedona and Grand Canyon were absolutely breathtaking and guide knew the best places to drop us off and tell us where to go.
That the tour guide was excellent and the view of the tour of the Grand Canyon was a life changing experience.
Naala kept us updated from the start and Will gave us an amazing tour. Took us to a great view in Sedona and Grand Canyon. They are very friendly and really made the tour worth it. I would highly recommend them.
We were the only clients for that day so effectively we had the car & guide, Naala, all to ourselves! It was an awesome trip from the get go. Naala, who owns Elegant Travel, was punctual & very well organised & an extremely careful driver of a well maintained, clean & super comfortable vehicle. She had more than ample water/snacks for us & made sure we had enough comfort stops. The day passed so quickly because there was never a dull moment! Naala is so personable & gracious; with a wealth of knowledge not only of the flora, fauna & geographical wonders of Arizona but also beyond, due to her extensive travel experience. Her commentaries/anecdotes enroute there & back were relevant, entertaining & interesting. She brought us straight to the highlights of Sedona, the Grand Canyon, lunch venue, Arts & Crafts market, maximising the entire day's enjoyment. She updated us regularly on where we were/what we are viewing & we are truly appreciative of her dedication to ensure the best experience ever for her guests. We highly recommend Elegant Travel; the company is certified in health & safety/legal matters & we felt very safe in its hands. We have come away with the most wonderful memories of the spectacular Grand Canyon and Sedona and it's all thanks to Naala & her flawless professionalism. It was also amazing how she can spot wild horses/cows miles away in the open terrain! :)
Naala was our driver. She was amazing. So much knowledge to share with us. This is a trip of a life time. It's a must. We have always wanted to see the Grand Canyon since moving here. This is the best way to go because you get to sit back and relax and enjoy the view
We had a great time on our full day trip to the Grand Canyon. Naala was a great host and provided lots of information on our drive. We were on a small tour that included myself, my husband, and one other passenger. The small group had an intimate feel. Itinerary included a stop at the Church of the Holy Cross, Sedona where we had lunch, a trading post, then finally the Grand Canyon. Every location had ample opportunity for gorgeous views and photographs. The pick up and drop off were as described. The vehicle was clean and comfortable. There were ample bathroom breaks. Overall a great experience and I highly recommend booking AZ Elegant Travel!
Naala was awesome! So knowledgeable and kind. We had a wonderful time and learned a lot about the various sites we went to.
Naala was a terrific guide and quite knowledgeable of the landscape, history and area. The destinations of Sedona and the Grand Canyon were jaw dropping and amazing. Highly recommend this experience.
Enjoyed the comfort ride and most importantly, Naala’s knowledge on the regions we were visiting. She did a fantastic job and was great about laying out the upcoming details so we knew how far our next “leg” was and what to expect at the stop. Great day and was the first trip to Grand Canyon, excellent all day trip!
Totally worth it learned a lot of history about the places I visited our guide Naala kept the whole group engaged and organised it very well
We had an amazing time! Everything exceeded our expectations, and we can't recommend this tour enough. Our guide was super friendly, knowledgeable, and made sure we saw and experienced all that Sedona and the Grand Canyon have to offer. Well worth the financial cost so you can truly get the most out of your day!
Fun day in Arizona! William was a great driver and made sure we all had time to take in the beautiful sights.
My tour guide is a wealth of knowledge and adds so much to the experience by sharing things about the whole area. It's a full day of fun and adventure. I'm so glad I did this tour before going back home to Atlanta.
Such a memorable and lovely experience from start to finish! Naala was the perfect guide, providing insight along the way from Phoenix to Sedona, Oak Creek Canyon, the Navajo reservation, to the Grand Canyon and back again. She had everything taken care of from the smooth and comfortable ride, snacks, drinks, THE MOST PERFECT LUNCH STOP, the best views and timing everything down to the perfect amount at each stop. I happened to be a solo traveler on this trip and had the tour to myself, which I didn’t mind at all. Naala was such a gracious host to entertain my whims and make suggestions based on my interests. The vehicle was new, comfortable and clean. It was just the perfect trip! It was such a beautiful day that will go down as one of the most memorable and enjoyable excursions I’ve ever experienced. Thank you for such a wonderful time exploring our beautiful outdoors!
This was the most amazing trip I have ever taken. The guide Naala was awesome! She was so fun and informative. The trip was not rushed. We got to see so much. The vehicle was very comfortable and had phone charger which was needed as we took tons of pictures. So wonderful!!!
Thanks for a truly wonderful experience between the Church of the Holy Cross or the almost unbelievable view of the Grand Canyon. Will was an incredible knowledgeable guide who was able to answer any and all questions. One of the better touring experiences I have had.
Malala was super, very knowledgeable, very organized. Her communication before and during trip was excellent. Highly recommend her. She made the day perfect for us.
There is not just one! I would say the whole trip was wonderful. It was worth it. I saw how Gods creations is incredibly amazing! I would recommend you to take this trip. The tourism guide was so kind and well prepared with the information we needed to know. She was kind patient and lovely.
The Grand Canyon stands by itself as a destination, but what put this experience over the top was our host Naala! Simply wow! She was amazing, professional, fun, and her knowledge of where to go and narration of history and culture made this one of the best excursions we have ever had. I can’t say enough about Naala and AZ Elegant Travel. If you’re looking for a great Grand Canyon experience, don’t hesitate to book with AZ Elegant Travel! You won’t regret it!!
Excellent trip. Naala our guide was very knowledgeable and accommodating. Highly recommended.. love Sedona and the south rim of the Grand Canyon was just breathtaking. Learned so much from this trip.
Best tour guide I have ever had and I have been on tours all over the world. Long trip but many wonderful memories. Lots of beautiful photos.
Itinerary was wonderful. Plenty of stops. Vehicle was comfortable with headrests and extra head space. Naala was a terrific guide. She is extremely knowledgeable on the areas, vegetation, history of area. Driving through Navaho Nation was insightful Naala had water and snacks in car which was great. I was the only person on the tour and was grateful she didn’t cancel because of that.
Had the best time for a small group of two it was an amazing, once in a lifetime trip. The tour guide was amazing and had so much information. We were very impressed with the entire day.
Obviously the breathtaking views of the Grand Canyon were the highlight of the trip. We also enjoyed Sedona, views of mountains along the way and the views of the Painted Desert. Our tour guide, William, was an excellent driver, extremely knowledgeable and planned the right amount of stops to break up the lengthy trip to the Grand Canyon. Overall, it was a fantastic day and I would highly recommend it to others.
It was an amazing day, Naala was so managerable and a fantastic guide! We had a very impressive experience. Highly recommended!
I picked this tour over all the others because there were two stops, including Sedona, before heading to the Grand Canyon. Also, it was a full 12 hours, and we all met up at one central location at 8 AM (We didn’t have to ride around making numerous stops). And, as promised in the description, there was a trunk full of water and snacks for the trip. Naala, our tour guide was incredible. She explained all about the plants and views along the sides of the road throughout the trip and was extremely knowledgeable about all the towns along the way, including the Grand Canyon. She also made the right amount of stops along the way for our viewing pleasure, including animal life, rest stops, and a great place for lunch, where we were able to order ahead of time to have it ready upon our arrival, too. Her SUV was very comfortable for the long day and she was an amazing driver. I was traveling alone, but Naala and the other tourists made me feel so comfortable that it will definitely be one of my most memorable tours in my lifetime.
This was such a great tour. All the views included were breathtaking! Nice amount of time at each place included. Well taken care of the entire time with water, snacks and plenty of bathroom breaks. Naala was so knowledgeable about each location and Arizona in general.
It was a beautiful and enjoyable trip.. and the guide was an expert in the region and its history. I really enjoyed the trip and the views, and it was an enjoyable experience.
We had a fabulous tour guide, Naala and our day trip was packed with site seeing, facts about the area, and suggestions on where to take pics etc. Even the lunch stop was amazing. She was very attentive and knowledgeable and we’re so thankful we chose this tour. We wanted to see the Chapel of the Holy Cross and she was able to drive us there and even pointed out landmarks and best views for pictures etc. we would definitely recommend this tour and plan to take her other tour next time. She has been the absolute best tour guide we have ever encountered!! She was responsive to answer additional questions through email as well.
This was a very well planned, awesome experience! Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and very friendly. Long day but very fun.
From the moment I got into Naala's big SUV, I sensed positive vibes. She conducted the tour with meticulous attention to the details. I was the only one on the tour that day and she still decided to take me to Sedona, Grand Canyon and back. That tells me about Naala, how sincere, honest and beautiful soul she is. The tour went very well, she has all the arrangements of snacks and water in her SUV. There were multiple toilet breaks all along the tour. She took me first in Sedona and she gave lots of historical information about the place. Sedona was really gorgeous and beautiful. From there we went to a small town named "Williams" where we had our lunch break and then we headed to "Grand Canyon". There were multiple spotting of Elks on our way back. The road towards the canyon from Sedona is really beautiful as well. And the canyon itself is a place where someone can visit multiple times. The mother Earth in her full splendor and I really loved it. And I will be back next time I am in Phoenix. Thank you Naala!
Great guide. Great trip for 11 year old granddaughter. Her excitement was contagious. The look on her face was worth the cost by far.
Was a great experience for our family and William took great care of us all! Was nice to not have to plan where to stop & just enjoy the ride & all the interesting facts about the area. It was like visiting 3 different worlds with the changes in landscapes. This was way better than expected and William is top notch! All the sites we stopped to see where amazing.
We did a one-day guided tour with Across Arizona Tours and thoroughly enjoyed it. We had just driven from Oklahoma to Arizona and didn’t feel up to a 3.5 hour drive one way to see the Grand Canyon. But as our first trip to Arizona we didn’t feel we could miss the Grand Canyon….and we were certainly glad we didn’t. Across Arizona Tours provided a wonderful guide who was personable and knowledgeable of the area. We made a quick tour through Sedona and we were thoroughly impressed with the area. Our next stop was at Cameron for lunch and Indian gifts. Next stop was the Grand Canyon and it was truly breathtaking! We made stops in at least 4 different areas to view the area. Our only regret was that we didn’t allow a lot more time for the Grand Canyon and Sedona. We could easily spend several days in each area.
Had an amazing time! Did more than expected and Naala was very friendly and informative. Had lots of stops and snacks provided. Couldn’t have did this trip without a guide.
The tour guide Naala was very informative, professional but friendly as well. She was very careful to keep us update on every activity. To view the Grand Canyon for the first time was awesome! And to see it with an experienced guide was priceless.
The trip was very organized and the guide was friendly. He patiently answered all my questions. It was relaxing yet they cover important plces.
Excellent trip! Highly recommended. Our host knows a lot of history about every place we visited. Very nice person.
We were a group of 6 and we found Naala's tour of the Grand Canyon in the last minute. Despite the relative delay, the tour guide cum driver was super friendly and accomodating. She came on time and picked us up at Scottsdale where we were staying. She was happy to take a detour to the ATM so we could have money for the trip. The journey began on a positive note where Mrs. Naala introduced herself and the changing landscape of the Maricopa County as we headed to the Grand Canyon. We went through the Seguaro Desert and spotted the different cactii, went past perennial water springs, learnt about Navajo culture, saw the landscape change as we went past New River, Ghost Mining towns and the famed Verde Valley with the Montezuma castle before our first scenic stop at Sedona. We were shown the Chapel of the Holy Cross and the breathtaking sights around. From there, there is a scheduled lunch stop at Flagstaff where we ate at a lovely family owned restaurant which had tasty sandwiches and soup. We then descended into the painted desert and the native American craft market where we caught a first glimpse of the canyons and the Colorado river. After which, we visited the Grand Canyon National Park where we got to spend time and click pictures at multiple viewpoints and even slipped in a 30 minute trail. It was breathtaking and we were also able to take in the tour without stress or worry because of Naala's presence, her knowledge of the area and safe driving. Throughout the trip, Mrs. Naala was erudite about the local history, climate and trivia that kept us entertained throughout. She was patient and accomodatiing on all our requests for stops whenever there was a sight that we did not want to miss. I would highly recommend this tour to first-timers and those looking for value for money. Do note that this tour can accomodate close to 10-14 people but then a different mini van will be used. If you are a group of upto 6, you will have a Ford SUV driven by Naala. It usually begins at 8 AM and lasts for about 12-14 hours depending on where you are in Phoenix.
William was our guide and he was amazing. He had great insights into all we visited and it was so nice to speak to him about anything, from one human to another lol. The car and the snacks were perfect. Great driving and it was just relaxing. Thank you for taking care of us.
I could not have wished for a better prepared and more knowledgeable guide than Naala, who could read our minds and expectations, was engaging, managed time well, and showed she is a wholly professional and experienced guide.
The trip was well narrated with quite a few extra tidbits of history and folklore. We had ample opportunities to explore on our own. Snacks available, rest stops a plenty, plans for lunch that didn't expend our time and we even went to a chocolate factory. We got back home at a good time. Well worth it for my first time taking a day trip.
Viewing the Grand Canyon up close. The views from the Chapel of the Hotel Cross. Visiting Sedonna. Navajo market
Naala is the perfect tour operator - professional, passionate and personable. The vehicle is spotless, roomy and comfortable which goes to making the road trip relaxed and we’re ready to make the most of the time at the different sites of the tour. The Grand Canyon was beyond amazing and the various viewing sites Naala let us explore were well chosen and gave a very intimate experience of this Wonder of the World. Highly recommend!! Thank you Naala for a wonderful day. Bernadette
