Five stars, without hesitation! EZ Kayak Tours & Rentals lived up to the Yelp reviews that led me to them, and then some. We were hosting out-of-town guests, and I was in charge of booking. The others had kayaking experience, but this was my first time. I was comparing prices, launch times and reviews, not thinking about kayak lengths or seat styles. Thankfully, Gio thought of the things I didn’t even know to ask about. The website made it easy to see time slots and choose single or tandem kayaks. We booked four singles and received a text from Gio shortly afterward. When I mentioned my husband was over 6’4”, he offered to reserve a longer kayak. I would never have known to request that, and I really appreciated the thoughtfulness. Communication was excellent. Emails and texts covered what to wear, what to bring, what was included, parking and arrival instructions. The online waivers were easy, and reminders left us with no unanswered questions. They also explained the park entrance fee, which our military pass covered. Parking itself was free, with plenty of spaces when we arrived on Labor Day. Several companies launch from the same small area, so we briefly had to ask around to find our group. That was the only confusion, and it was quickly sorted out. Gio greeted everyone and got us set up with life jackets, hats if needed, dry bags and phone pouches on lanyards. Each kayak had two bottles of water and a generous snack box with granola bars, peanut butter crackers, chips and bananas. Anything we didn’t eat was ours to take home! The Wilderness Systems kayaks were in great condition and very comfortable. Most of us had 12-foot kayaks, and my husband had a 14-foot one. I felt secure in the sit-in kayak and never felt like I would tip over. Getting in and out was easier than expected. Gio’s safety briefing and our guide Russ’s paddling instructions helped me feel comfortable getting started. Russ was fantastic and made me so glad we chose a guided tour. He pointed out plants, shared local history and helped us look for wildlife. We saw a turtle and a bald eagle’s nest high on the cliff, although the bighorn sheep stayed out of sight. At Emerald Cave, Russ showed us how to back in so we could paddle out easily. He also took photos of our whole group together, so nobody had to be missing from the pictures. Those are memories I’ll cherish, and he AirDropped them to us afterward so we had them right away. On the return trip, we stopped at a beach for snacks and took a short walk to an overlook with a beautiful view of the river. Russ showed us the old river gauger’s home site and pointed out the cliffside catwalk, cable car and river-measuring structures along our route. We would have missed so much of that history on our own. We went on Labor Day Monday, a non-motorized day, and loved how peaceful it felt. There was plenty of room to paddle, float, talk and enjoy the scenery alongside other kayakers and paddleboarders. I would definitely choose a non-motorized day again. Gio was waiting on the beach when we returned, waving and taking pictures of us coming in, just as promised. He sent those later, giving us even more photos of our day. Getting ashore and returning our gear was easy. They took care of us from beginning to end. Don’t forget to tip your guide. Russ certainly earned our appreciation! We’ve lived here for seven years, and my only regret is not doing this sooner. Thank you, Gio, Russ and EZ Kayak Tours & Rentals, for a wonderful day with our guests and another reason to love where we live. We’re already looking forward to booking with EZ again. The only reason we would choose another company would be a scheduling conflict or unavailable time slot. Even then, they would have very big shoes to fill. Gio and his team have set the bar incredibly high!

We had such a wonderful experience renting kayaks from Gio! He was incredibly respectful, friendly, and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed for a great time. Gio provided life vests, hats, water, and even snacks in a cooler bag. We had forgotten our water shoes, and he was kind enough to provide those for us as well. He also extended our rental time, which we really appreciated. One of the nicest surprises was that he took professional-quality photos of us during the experience, even though we didn’t ask for them. It was such a thoughtful gesture and gave us some amazing memories to take home. Everything was smooth, easy, and stress-free from start to finish. Gio truly cares about his customers and making sure they have a great experience. We would absolutely rent from him again and highly recommend him to anyone looking for a kayak rental!

One of the best experiences of my life! It was exactly what we wanted and it was a great experience that we got explained in Spanish too, I would definitely do it again!!

They'll text you a day or so before you come and see if you want to tandem kayak which was great and a question I had one booking. I brought my own gear but the rental included a lunch box of snacks best with whistle, hat, enough waters for the trip, and even had waterproof phone bags if you didn't bring your own. This was all included in the self-guided rental too which was great. You're able to get out of the kayak and swim while you're there too so plan to make a day of it

These guys are amazing! The service they provide is incredible. So friendly and they provided snacks and plenty of water before and after the trip. We did the rentals without the tour and highly recommend. The tour also looked great with lots of local knowledge and experience. If you’re on the fence at all just book the trip!! After we finished up they gave us tips on additional activities to do on our return to Vegas. I’m hard to impress and these guys did it!!! When we return we would definitely rent from them again.

We not only had the best time but the tour was educational and informative. We enjoyed the tour from launch to the take-out because it was easy to find the location, the kayaks are safe with no tipping and healthy snacks and water are provided by the company. I recommend EZ Kayak Tours for all the reasons stated above and the friendly service provided. We are ready to book our next adventure with them again.

Wow! If you’ve ever considered visiting Willow Beach, do yourself a favor and book with EZ Kayak Tours. They were absolutely amazing! As a mom of two always looking for a new adventure, I was a little nervous about taking my kids out on my own. However, as soon as we arrived at Willow Beach, David was there to greet us and immediately put me at ease. He made sure we felt fully prepared, confident, and ready for an incredible experience. David provided excellent tips, guidance, and directions to help us make the most of our trip. Each kayak came stocked with water, and there were even pre-packed snacks for the kids.. such a thoughtful touch! And that’s not all. David also provided a large waterproof dry bag to protect my personal belongings, along with a waterproof phone case so I could capture memories without worrying about my phone. This is true Vegas hospitality , just on the river. If you’re looking for fun things to do in Las Vegas with family, friends, or even for a unique summer date, I highly recommend EZ Kayak Tours. Gio, the owner of EZ Kayak Tours is amazing! Great communication leading up to the day of rental, including pictures and a video of exactly where to meet. He took a family picture for us as we launched and gave us tips and landmarks to look out for on our paddle to Emerald Cave. It isn't often that our kids agree on anything, but both said they had a blast and couldn't wait to go again. Came from England to visit family from Vegas I seen this experience via Tiktock and told my family about it. It exceeded our expectations and more. The kids had so much fun. Wow what a beautiful place. I was super nervous as I had never kayaked before but our guide Burton really helped keep me at ease and stayed nearby. I highly recommend this tour and company. Will definitely be back when I visit next.

I would give EZ Kayak a million stars if I could. From the beginning Gio (the owner) was in direct contact with us and made sure we knew all of the details and was transparent with pricing. He even moved our booking a day later free of charge due to high winds in the area. The kayak ride was amazing and they provided water and snacks for us as well. Even though this was a self guided boat rental, we really felt great hospitality and service!

We recently took a self guided tour with EZ Kayak. The owner Gio contacted soon after we booked the trip to provide useful information about our trip. Gio was very responsive and was easy to communicative with. Gio met us in the parking lot with a smile and a wealth of information about our trip. Our trip was self guided but Gio guided us through the first half of the trip imparting various knowledge of the river and it's surroundings. Gio supplied us with snacks, hats, waterproof containers for our phones, nice kayaks and paddle. The river provided excellent scenery and was an easy paddle both up and back on the river. Gio met upon our return to the launch with a smile. I highly recommend EZ Kayak.

The team was very informative and detailed as to where to go, safety instructions, and provided everything we needed to make our experience more enjoyable. We appreciated the extras, dry bags, phone protectors, snacks and plenty of water. All we needed to do was show up and have fun! We saw beautiful scenery, clear water and had a relaxing family experience! I would highly recommend this trip!

We absolutely loved this wonderful experience which was even more than we expected! EZ Kayak certainly did make it EZ with thorough instructions, snacks and attractive comfortable kayaks. We anticipated the cove to be beautiful, but hadn't realized the banks of the entire 2 miles back (easy paddle downstream) were also glowing green. Mother Nature at her Best and EZ helped make it happen.

I had recently read an article about Emerald Cove and, coincidentally, my wife and I had a Vegas getaway scheduled. It seemed like the perfect opportunity to add one more activity to our trip before returning home to Phoenix. After booking with EZ Kayak online, Gio reached out and provided us with all the information we needed. We met David the next day at the river and he had the tandem kayak we requested all ready to go. Not only was the kayak ready, he also had a bag of snacks and bottles of water for us. We chose to do the self guided tour as we needed flexibility with our schedule. David gave us great directions before we left the shore, so we feel like we kind of had a guide after all. I’m glad I came across the article that inspired the trip and I’m glad I came across EZ Kayak as they made it stress-free and enjoyable. Highly recommended.

Our guided tour with David was great. Ez kayak really went above and beyond to make sure everyone had what they needed to have a great experience. From providing snacks, sun hats, and water proof cases to interesting commentary on flora and fauna. I would highly recommend and would do it again.

EZ Kayak is an absolutely great company to use to experience the emerald caves. Gio was very thorough in booking the trip, preparing us for the meeting spot and staying in touch as the day approached. Upon arrival David was early and ready for us. The kayaks were sized right for each of us and in great condition. They also provided a small snack bag, waters and they had any other supplies we may have needed. We brought our own, but they had water cases for our phones, a wet bag for our stuff and even a sun hat if needed. I thought that was going the extra mile. Finally, even though we only did the kayak rental without a guide, David met us on the water for a great pic. I would highly recommend renting or getting a guided tour with them.

We had the best experience kayaking! We rented two tandem kayaks and Don had our kayaks supplied with cold water and snacks in a cooler. He even had clean hats for us to use since two of us forgot ours. We will tell all our our friends to use EZ Kayak.

My boyfriend and I absolutely enjoyed this adventure! Our entire tour was very scenic and beautiful. We're so grateful to have had Don as our tour guide because within 10min of beginning our voyage our tandem kayak flipped over and Don swiftly came to the rescue! Don's calm, collected and fun demeanor is the perfect balance of adventure and serenity. Don made us feel confident in his tour guide and rescue skills. Our kayaking experience with Don made us feel refreshed, reconnected with nature, and full of gratitude. A fantastic company! EZ kayak was really easy to work with and great prices. Gio was super helpful on the phone and texts. Don was ready for was at the beach and got us going on the water asap. Kayaks and life jackets in great shape. Water and light snacks were enjoyed. Solo kayaking is doable without a tour. EZ kayak was a great way to rent a kayak if you have a car and can get to willow beach. It's an easy drive on the highway. Highly recommend EZ kayak!

That day was perfect-calm river, no crowds, and breathtaking Colorado river. A truly unforgettable family memory. We had a great day on the water! Don and Gio were both very helpful and knowledgeable about navigating the water. We definitely appreciated doing the solo tour so we could go at our own pace and the directions were for sure easy enough to follow. Definitely something we would do again!!

Went to Willow Beach with 11 of my friends and we had an amazing time! The water was clear and cold, perfect for that 105° weather and the views were beautiful! Gio reached out after I had booked the Kayak and was very informative and helpful. I had also told him that a few others in my party would be booking as well. He also reached out to them too. He answered every question I had and was very accommodating. When we got there Don was the who set us up with our kayaks. He offered dry bags, waterproof phone cases, and extra water if we needed it. Was very helpful on where we should go for views. Highly recommend for your next outdoor adventure!

We did this trip today as a couple and we loved it! We had don as our go to guy and he was great. When we arrived he provided us with snacks and water, a waterproof phone case and a hat! He gave us directions where to go and checked on us numerous times during our trip. We had booked self guided instead of a large group tour guide. Great experience! Although if you havent been on a kayak befor try and get a tandem as it is a long way and is very tiring by the time you return. Overall great day thanks dom!

We loved our trip! The emerald cave is beautiful as always. (Best time to go is earlier so that there isn’t as many people crowded in the cave). I recommend a tandem kayak if there’s 2 of you, it’s way less work and much more bonding. Also we didn’t go on a tour, we went solo and it was great! This was my second time at Willow Beach and I love renting with EZ Kayak rental. David Fuller was our instructor and he was really nice and gave us helpful tips on how to get upstream to the cave. We will definitely rebook with EZ Kayak because they’re super friendly and they even provided us snacks and waters on our journey! The only thing I would say I disliked was the seat in the kayak after a while starts to hurt your bum, so ladies make sure you bring a towel or shirt to sit on so it doesn’t irritate your skin. Thanks again David! We had a great time and the weather was perfect :)

They provided us with directions on where to be, how to get to the launch point at the beach, and how to kayak the route successfully. Even provided snacks and water.

I booked a 4-hour self-guided rental with EZ Kayaks, and from start to finish, it was exceptional. David was incredibly friendly, informative, and clearly passionate about making sure we had a great time. But what really blew me away was how far he went to prepare us—not just with instructions, but with thoughtful extras. We were given a snack bag stocked with goodies, four extra waters (which we definitely needed once the sun hit its peak), a pump just in case water came aboard, and even a water gun for fun! Also, a dry bag and phone case was provided free of charge. David provided fantastic tips on how to navigate the river and reach Emerald Cave, and he recommended great spots to explore like the lookout at Bob’s Beach. We felt safe, informed, and totally taken care of. It was an unforgettable experience, and I genuinely wouldn’t rent from anywhere else. EZ Kayaks is one of a kind, and we’ll absolutely be back!

Seriously, this was amazing. My sister said, “this is the most incredible kayak I’ve ever done,” and we all 100% agreed. We did a self-guided rental for a few hours and brought our service dog along—she had the best time too. Gio (the owner) was super helpful before we even showed up, helping us choose the best time and route. And when we got there, the staff was so friendly and thoughtful—they gave us water and snacks in a little cooler, waterproof phone cases, and even water guns, which made it so fun. The kayaks were super comfy with watertight storage in the back and space to stash extra bags by our seats. The water was insanely clear and emerald green the whole way—so beautiful. They gave us great tips on where to go, and we ended up with the perfect little route. Definitely bring sunscreen, hats, and long sleeves—it gets HOT—but honestly, this whole experience was a 10/10. Can’t wait to do it again.

EZ Kayak was amazing. We brought the whole family of 5 out for our twins 18th birthday in Las Vegas. We booked online, and we're promptly contacted via text with very helpful preparation information and route tips. It was evident, even the night before that they wanted to ensure a worry free excursion. We were greeted on time by Don and Dave. Both were super polite full of energy and were very professional in the way they went about setting us off and were equally as helpful upon our return. 5 stars for the whole crew at EZ!!!

Gio , Don and his helper were very friendly and helpful. My husband and I rented two single person kayaks and the pdf and videos Gio sent the day before our trip were very useful so we knew what to expect . Don took a picture of us in our kayak and told us where to go and interesting places to check out.The lake was a beautiful green color and we even took a short hike and saw some bighorn sheep on the mountain! The emerald cave itself was unremarkable like Don said but overall, we had a great time. I highly recommend them and the equipment seemed new, clean and worked well. Thanks guys!

They thought of everything!! Even though we didn’t go in a guided tour, we could feel the personal touch that EZ Kayak puts into every reservation. They checked on me after I registered to answer any questions, set up my daughter and I with a tandem kayak, snacks, and waters , gave us the rundown on places to see, and helped us unload at the days end. We had such a good time and would 10/10 recommend.

This was the best kayak rental experience we have had. Gio was very communacative, flexible and friendly over text to make sure we were fully ready for our rental period. Once we got there, David did a great job helping us get set up on the kayaks and giving us advice about sight seeing spots.
