Mildly interesting. I would have liked more history of the area. Learning about the various houses was good. Ok for the price.

Itinerary
This self-guided walking tour starts outside the Presidio San Agustín del Tucson Museum, once an 11-acre Spanish fort, where you’ll learn what daily life was like for early settlers in the late 1700s.
You'll pass by Sonoran row houses made of adobe bricks like Casa de Cordova, which was restored and dedicated by First Lady Betty Ford in 1974.
The tour passes by what historians call the "mansions on main street" which include the Tucson Museum of Art.
The tour passes by Café a la C’Arte where you’ll find delicious pastries
You'll pass by the J. Knox Corbett House which, like many of Main Avenue’s sophisticated 1890s and early 1900s mansions, owes its appearance to two innovative and imaginative architects, Henry Trost and David Holmes.
The tour passes by the Christopher Franklin Carroll Centennial Park. You'll hear about the park while you walk.
The tour passes by the Franklin House. You'll hear about the original owners while you walk.
The tour passes by El Presidio Bed and Breakfast. You'll hear about what the B&B was like previously under different owners.
The tour ends in front of El Charro Café, the oldest Mexican restaurant in Tucson and home of the chimichanga.

Nicely paced and interesting history. Good walking directions without having to look at the map on the phone. Easy to understand the audio.
Never ever received the code for the tour................... Have read several others experienced the same thing. Very disappointing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
My wife and I (along with Oscar, our dog) enjoyed listening to the audio while walking in front of the houses and buildings. We have found it very interesting in every aspects (history, construction influence, etc.)
We have been wanting to visit the old town for some time and this little tour gave us a great overview. It took us about an hour to travel through all those 300 years. Loved seeing all the different styles of homes and learning about the early inhabitants of Tuscan. We will be touring more cities using these audio tours!
Very informative, loved all the context/history and beautiful architecture. Much easier to follow than we had anticipated. Well done!!
Sadly I did not get my code until it was too late to take in part of the tour. My next two tours did not ever show up for me. So I had to buy them directly from Shaka Tour. I’m only out $14.95, but it is the first time Viator has not lived up to the expectations.
The tour was somewhat difficult to follow because the audio would begin before I reached the designated location for the audio. Also, the content of information was too detailed. I got bored with all the detail. It would have been very interesting for someone studying architecture. I learned a little bit of history, but not the overview of historical Tucson that I was anticipating.
I like the way the tour is laid out, from 3 centuries ago to 1 century ago. It's an easy walking tour and very informative.
This walking tour was a lot of fun and very informative. Go in the morning before it gets hot or maybe in the Winter. We did it after lunch in 100dF temperatures. Either way, take water and have fun!
We really enjoyed this walking tour! Perfect for what we had planned for the day. Beautiful houses and plants and unique history. Highly recommend.
I could not figure out how to download even with help. It looked like it could have been interesting. We just walked around with a map.
Well researched and interesting. Lots of dates and people to keep track of but enjoyed learning about the historic homes. Walking directions we’re great and easy to follow.
I'm glad we downloaded at home first because it took longer than we expected. Once at the correct location, the information was so well presented and informative; it left us wishing for more info about other buildings we saw that weren't included ! It also would be great if we could listen to it one more time after the tour to let all the information sink in. All in all, it was great !!!
This is a great idea for a walking tour. It gives you turn by turn instructions and knows where you are and when to give you the next information and stories. It was a little hard to jump ahead if you got bored and wanted to move on.
For the price...awesome. The scope was a small slice of town and mostly covered houses , but very enjoyable and everything worked well...like coordinating the dialogue with our actual location.
We enjoyed the audio tour. The walking was easy and at a slow pace. Both of us had a few 'glitches' at the beginning of the tour to get to the correct part of the audio, and find our way on the streets. The narrator was very good, informative and entertaining.
We spent a good hour walking what was essentially a square section of downtown Tucson, learning about the history of the place through the stories of the people who lived in buildings around town. It was interesting.
So much fun and so informative! Easy to follow and perfect length of time! The moderator was really fun to listen to. We look forward to more tours like this one
Very informative, interesting. Learned a lot about this area. Well paced for any age including seniors. Would look for this in other places.
Love history and architecture. Very nicely explained. Wasn’t sure how far I would be walking but there were many stops and time to look around.
We learned a lot about the history of the area. Very well done! The architecture and art were great, as well as the story of Tucson.
Most informative tour of historic presidio area including many family accounts of early residents. Walking tour short in distance but long on interesting stories.
