The van driver, Sheldon, wuth Arizona Tou Travel picked us up on time, he gave us a personal tour, and offered us water, suntan lotion and a potty breajk, if needed. Viator requested too many confirmations, didn't offer a pickup at out hotel when it was available and is a 3rd party, which we didn't realize. I recommend contacting the Van service directly.

Mark Friedman was our tour guide. It was just my husband and myself. He is so professional and full of history, anecdotes about the whole area. Mark showed us amazing vistas. He made sure we got to the Chapel of the Holy Cross at the right time so we could fully appreciate it. Can’t thank him enough and would recommend him to anyone visiting Sedona.

Mark, our tour guide, picked us up at our Air BnB and showed us around Sedona, with stops at the Chapel of the Holy Cross, the Sedona Airport Overlook, and a shopping stop where we bought authentic Navajo and Hopi Indian made jewelry. As we drove through Sedona, he educated us on the area and made recommendations for places to spend more time after the tour.

Mark Friedman with Great Venture Tours was amazing! I took my friend for his birthday which was today for a 2 hour tour of Sedona. We both enjoyed ourselves because Mark made our tour fun by being 1. Informative, 2. Friendly/easy going and 3. Attentive to all his customers. There was another customer who went alone. He also encouraged us to be interactive which was cool. I highly recommend Great Venture Tours but especially Mark! My friend and I plan on taking more tours with them.

I took my daughter and daughter-in-law on a girl's trip to Arizona. We had a great tour with Mark Friedman. He was very knowledgeable about the sites and the history of the area. The view from The Chapel of the Holy Cross is breathtaking! Mark was helpful in trying to let us get a good photo of sites when we were traveling in the van. We had a few stops where we got out of the van, but I might suggest to maybe have a few more places to actually get out and to have one bathroom break. Mark was a very pleasant guide and I would highly recommend him.

It was a pleasure to be around and discover Sedona with Sheldon, who is an excellent guide and extremely knowledgeable on the region. Also, I expected to have other people with us but the tour was just for the two of us! Hence, we did have some freedom to do what we wanted most!

I was very pleased with my sightseeing tour overall. They’re so much to know about Sedona, its history and many landmarks. Our tour guide, Mark Friedman was very knowledgeable and purposeful to teach us all we needed to know along the way. He was also thoughtful of our needs and fun to be around. I would recommend this tour before doing others and going out on you own. The adventure gave us a lot to go own for the rest of our trip.

Our guide Joe showed was extremely informative throughout our tour of Sedona. Our 2+ hour tour brought us to various sites, where we were able to take a variety of photos, learning loads on interesting things along the way. Definitely recommended!

Enjoyed the tour guide, the tour itself was very skimpy. Two stops and a very narrow radius. So much more to see than what was displayed here. Not worth the time or money.

I really enjoyed the tour and the sites offered and visited were fulfilled. I felt I was given enough time at the sites. The driver/guide J.R. was full of knowledge and information and he went beyond expectation and service to take me to see/visit other vortex sites, which really was the "cherry on the top" moment to my Sedona trip.

Gee, where to begin? This tour was such a waste of time and money, period! We spent most of the time picking up and dropping off guests than the actual tour alone! In addition, we spent a lot of our valuable time stuck in traffic, so by the time we get to see the attractions, the driver/tour guide gave us only a few minutes, which were not even enough to take good pictures! The bus was also very hot and the driver/guide very grouch and so difficult to understand! It seems that he slurred his words and that he didn't wanted to be there. Anyway, save your money on this one if you have your own car. Believe me, you'll be able see (and enjoy) a lot more of Sedona on your own without a single penny to spend--other than on gas, of course!

Went during Covid in 2021. We were so glad to get out and Sheldon was a great tour guide. It gave a good overview of the area.

Driver was great! Van was clean. Sights were beyond words! Our favorite was the church built into the mountain.

This tour left a lot to be desired. First, the driver/tour guide, Joe, appeared to be in a bad mood from the get go. He was very grumpy throughout the entire tour. We were the first to be picked up but he'd gotten early to the meeting point. We had been ready and waiting outside the lobby and even if Joe saw us, he never approach us to ask if we were the guests that he was supposed to be picked up. When we finally found out that the bus was already waiting (by a phone call I received from the company), Joe was already in a foul mood. We tried to apologize (even though it wasn't really our fault for him to be early), but he completely ignored us. Then he went on to pick up the other guests at the different hotels. I believe we spent more time picking up people at their hotels than the actual tour. We were able to visit the chapel on top of the rock for exactly 20 minutes. Then we drove to the top of the mesa where the airport is for some nice views, however, Joe only gave us 12 minutes! Then the tour was pretty much over! We were able to visit only two sights for a total of 32 minutes, that's it! The tour was supposed to last a total of 2 1/2 hours! I guess we spent most of the time picking up guests and being stuck in traffic. In addition, the temperature inside the bus was pretty toasty. People kept asking Joe to lower the temp but he completely ignored everyone, as he was so into his spiel, which, by the way, was difficult to understand, as he slurred some of his words. All in all, I would not recommend this tour to anyone. It was very expensive for only 32 minutes of sight-seeing and a few rather funny anecdotes. I you have a vehicle you can just go up to see the chapel on your own and then head out to the airport mesa for the views of the valley, mountains, etc. By the way, if you go a few minutes before the sunset, you'll catch some spectacular views of the entire landscape that surrounds Sedona; it's amazing! But don't waste your money on this tour. It's not worth it.

Nice 2 hour driving tour of Sedona seeing most of the sites and enjoying our very knowledgeable guide.

This trip was a waste of time. It was too long and felt like an aimless drive around Sedona. The only 2 places of interest we stopped (and the 2 main reasons I booked) were Chapel of the Holy Cross and Airport Mesa overlook. We were only at each for approximately 15-20 mins. So, out of a 2.5 hour drive only :30-:45 minutes were quality.

What started out with a minor scheduling bump became such a wonderful day. Jo Gebo was a fabulous tour guide and we highly recommend him. We thank you very much for a great experience in Sedona.

Would have missed much if not on guided tour. The chapel was great and the guide's knowledge added to our overall trip to Sedona. I highly recommend this and recommend you take it on day one of your trip to Sedona.

Our tour guide was Joe gebo. the van was climate controlled and comfortable. Joe taught us alot about sedona ana even inserted a joke or two from time to time. We got great pictures and would totally do it again! Thanks!

Al did a great job of highlighting the beauty of Sedona, from the Chapel of the Holy Cross to the famed Airport overlook. He pointed out various rock formations along with shopping areas and restaurants. A good overview tour for those new to Sedona.

Joe took us on a journey through Sedona that was both informative and fun. He made sure we knew both the history of Sedona as well as giving us an update on the current status of Sedona today. The sights he took us to were incredible . I would recommend this tour for families or any anyone looking for a way to spend a few hours to do something different .

So let me begin by saying that this tour is great if you’re looking for two beautiful photographic stops and a nice scenic tour. This is not a hiking tour of Sedona but rather an informative scenic trip of Sedona. I personally loved my experience. Al my tour guide was absolutely hilarious. He was also very informative and told the information in a manner that made it easy to retain and wasn’t dry in the sense it would lull you to sleep! I highly recommend this tour but I can only recommend it if Al is your guide!

This tour was informative. Our guide, Al was very knowledgeable. He gave historical, cultural, and geographical information. He not only gave his prepared speech, but he also answered questions that may or may not have been part of the plan. Al answered one question with a general answer & would not be pinned to giving an exact percentage of which he was unsure. How wonderful to have a genuine guide instead of a know it all! Also was also good at throwing in a bit of humor that added to his talk. Our vehicle was clean and comfortable.

Joe Gebo was a fantastic tour guide for our 2.5 hour bus ride around Sedona. He stopped twice to get us out for 10 to 15 minutes to take pictures and look around. He was so knowledgeable about the town and it's history. It was a really enjoyable ride. I would highly recommend it if you want to see the scenery without hiking.

This tour was my first introduction to Sedona. I was picked up at the hotel right on time. The guide was very friendly and knowledgeable. Small group atmosphere made it more private and personal, it was a great experience for me to see the beauty of Sedona.
