Creative Soul Scavenger Hunt( Jerome, Arizona)

First time to Jerome Arizona so we decided to try the scavenger hunt. What a great experience. Very fun and quick way to learn about the town and it’s history. I’d recommend it to any new travelers to Jerome Arizona.

Biggest waste of time and money. Write a haiku? Make movies? Interview people? Count the steps in Jerome? That’s a scavenger hunt? We opted not to waste our time after 20 minutes. We drove 2 1/2 hours for this disappointing experience.

The scavenger hunt with Tara is a waste of money. You would be better off exploring the stores and historic sights on your own. There are plaques around town that share information about various historical sites, the scavenger hunt just has you take pictures of things and asks you to approach other tourists. You would be better off asking chat gpt for a list of places to find. Do not recommend.

My daughter and I wanted to do something out of the ordinary on our visit. This fit the bill. It was a lot of fun. The two hours of searching for items went very fast. You learn some history of the area while at the same time being creative in your search. We did not find everything on the list, but had a great time finding what we found. The hard part was to not be tempted to linger too long in some of the stops as the two hours are done before you know it.

This was a fun! Tara was great! We made a last minute decision to drive to Jerome for Father's Day because our family has never been before. I did a search of "what to do in Jerome" and came across this creative tour. Tara set up a fun scavenger hunt challenge and we kept in touch throughout. We got to discover so much that we wouldn't have found in a fun, interactive way. We ended our day with Haunted Hamburgers and milkshakes. 👻 Thanks for a great tour of a fun city.

Tara did an INCREDIBLE job building and facilitating our scavenger hunt! As an Arizona native, I was skeptical how much more I could learn about Jerome and was confident I could easily answer all of the clues. Happily, I was wrong! My colleagues were in town from our Pennsylvania office and they have not stopped raving about our team building experience and how much fun we had, all thanks to Tara. You need to do this! We had so much fun with Tara. Our host was communicative, knowledgable, friendly, and really fun!! Tara has knowledge and was able to tailor the hunt for the perfect balance of challenging and achievable. Our 9 year old loved it! (And she found Ichabod, maybe you can too)

We enjoyed a time to play and have fun together, to step out of adulting for a bit and just be present with each other and a beautiful space.

Amazing experience! First time in Jerome and what better way to explore the city than with a scavenger hunt! Tara was an amazing host and definitely got us out of comfort zone doing some awesome activities and interacting with the locals.

Booked this fun scavenger hunt as part of our annual sister trip - we were a bit intimidated by some of the items (requiring us to approach people we didn’t know) but that turned out to be one of the best parts of the hunt.

We had lots of fun participating in this scavenger hunt. We saw many places that we otherwise would not have seen.

We had an excellent time learning so much about Jerome AZ! Tara was extremely accommodating as we booked last minute. She was perfectly communicative, letting us know what to expect at each step of the process. We got a decent workout and saw much of Jerome on our adventure and learned a lot more than we would have if we had just shown up to the area. Also fun, we met people who were kind and interested in our hunt and willing to help! Definitely recommend if you have time and are willing to trek about and learn!

This was an incredible scavenger hunt! Tara really goes above and beyond in providing an entertaining time and opportunity to learn about Jerome. And Fig gives the best fortunes! You will not be disappointed!

So fun. The clues Tara gives are ingenious. Talk to the locals. They will give you great info and all were very helpful. Kate at the Kate’s Books helped us so much. Tara, our guide was awesome. Definitely will do the Sedona scavenger hunt with her.

Plan on being engaged in the as activity. You are always moving and grovin which makes the activity fun. Good sneakers and plenty of water.

What a great event!! The host Tara is very friendly and was a joy to talk with and share the experience with. Her clues had us searching up and down the streets and chatting with locals and visitors alike while we worked to solve the mini mysteries that she gave us. From recreating a Beatles famous album cover, to asking locals about a sound heard daily in the town, and ultimately meowing to a store's proprietor for a gift, every discovered answer was charming, historical and fun! I highly recommend this event as a way to learn more about the town you are visiting and to create a memorable adventure.

Learning a lot of history about Jerome was very interesting..also having to be interactive with other tourists and speaking with the people of jerome was great. My fiance and I had a blast figuring out the clues..was great fun .we will do this again !!

This scavenger hunt had us running all around Jerome! It was a very fun and exciting experience. Talking to all of the locals to get information about the history of Jerome was a ton of fun and we met a lot of really cool and interesting people. This place has a pretty crazy history behind it so it made it that much more enjoyable. 10/10 recommend and our host was amazing as well! She was very fun and kept us very involved and motivated through the entire hunt.

Three of us did this excursion and thoroughly enjoyed it! Tara is a great and fun host who put together a challenging-but not too difficult— discovery experience for Jerome. It requires you to interact with locals, and that’s half the fun! You’ll learn a lot about the history of Jerome and discover it’s unique character, while enjoying its amazing views. Very affordable, and SO worth it!

What a wonderful way to explore the town of Jerome!! Tara's hunt was filled with fun clues that not only helped us explore the history of a "new-to-us" town, but created a way for us to interact with business owners, staff and best of all locals! A definite must-do while visiting Jerome.

Pros: 100% will do again in a different town. Amazingly entertaining. Learn loads about the town. Get some exercise. Funny interactions. Cons: Honestly, it is a little expensive for the activity, for what it is. Pay per group possibly?

A unique way to explore the town! Just know it’s not a true scavenger hunt, but you come away with a bunch of unique photos in places around the town. You need to be an out of the box thinker for this one for sure! But the host does give hints if you need them!

So fun! Tara had a great hunt planned out, we were able to discover the whole town and some. The locals were also very friendly to help us out with any questions that we had. It was a great way to learn the history. I would definitely recommend doing it if you were in Jerome!!

This is an inexpensive way to get to know Jerome and the locals. I advise you to talk to the locals. They are very friendly and knowledgeable. They will help you with the hunt. Tara is a great host. She made the hunt a fun experience for me and my family. We did it on Halloween and that made it extra fun. The residents in Jerome are really into Halloween and dressing up. We live in Peoria, Arizona. We drove up to Jerome for the day. This is doable for a day trip. We ended up with happy hour and then went to dinner. It was extra special to see the Jerome grand hotel in the dark.

Doing Tara's scavenger hunt was hilarious and amazing at the same time. It definately challenged my abilities to be creative in a most fun way. My mouth and stomach literally hurt from laughing so much. I would recommend this activity to anyone. Thank you Tara for being the creative genius who invented this!

We had a great time doing the Quirky, Wild & Mildy Strange scavenger hunt. It was a really fun and interactive way to get to know Jerome. Tara was with us every step of the way offering guidance & encouragement. Met some great locals and saw sights probably not a regular tour. Would definitely do again.
