This was hands-down the best tour my wife and I have ever taken. We both thought so. The kayaking was perfect — easy and not too long — and the canyon itself was absolutely stunning. The rock formations were some of the most beautiful either of us has ever seen.Logan, our guide, was outstanding. He was fun, outgoing, and incredibly knowledgeable, and he made the whole experience even better. He kept things light and engaging the entire time, shared interesting information without ever making it feel like a lecture, and was just a really great presence. You can tell he loves what he does. He was amazing. We highly recommend this tour, especially if you get Logan.

Our guide was so kind, helpful, and informative! The kayaking portion was a decent workout and the hike was beautiful and relaxing with a couple areas where we needed to climb over some rocks. I'm 66 and did not have any problems. We were warned ahead of time about a young rattlesnake on the trail so our guide was able to point it out and keep us safe. On the way back we pulled our kayaks up to a ledge in the cliff wall and took a swim break. It was a fantastic day!
I tried this out solo dolo, and I thoroughly enjoyed it! The operators were more than friendly and communicative about any potential weather issues. Luckily, there was none. Got out there; the kayak there was calm and scenic; the hike was scenic and beautiful; the kayak back was a bit tough due to winds picking up. I'll say you don't have to be an athlete, but it helps to be athletic and limber. The guide was friendly and intentional about connecting with each group member. I appreciated that. The experience overall was great!! And I am happy that it's a part of my memories!!
What a Day! Red Rock was awesome, meeting times and directions on point. We had cancellations due to weather but when we were finally able to connect it was worth the wait!!!! Logan was personable to each and every participant and his knowledge of the canyon was impressive. The Rain caused a lot of interior changes in the canyon, including a LOT of mud, but Logan’s enthusiasm over the power of Mother Nature made us appreciate the opportunity to appreciate what we were seeing!
It was a great time. We were expertly guided down the River in kayaks to Antelope Canyon. There we got many amazing views as well as stories of lore. It was such a beautiful place and fun way to spend time gazing at God’s creative mind! Our guides Sonni and Shane were the perfect hosts for this experience! Thank you for an outstanding day!
Well-organized excursion. Logan and his team were very professional. Wonderful views on the kayak and during the hike :-)
Amazing experience! Julia is the best! Be prepared to get wet - wear the appropriate clothes and shoes. It was so peaceful and beautiful. Thanks Julia!
Logan was very patient with the entire group. It was a comfortable kayak ride and even the hike once we got to the canyons was fun ( although cold). It was an amazing experience despite the few rain showers and the tour gave us ponchos and dry bags to carry our belongings.
Sunny was a good guide. Very sweet and kind. She was knowledgeable about the area. We had an all female group which was fun. I wish I had done more research. The area of hiking in Antelope canyon is at the wrong end to get the really good slot canyon photos. But the combined experience was fun. The area of meeting is not hard to find if you keep driving all the way down the marina road to the boat launch. Do not stop in the parking lots that are higher up. Be prepared to walk down a step sandy declines and the incline to get to and out of the lake.
An unforgettable adventure on the water paddling through the majestic, towering cliffs and hiking into Antelope Canyon was a true bucket list experience. It was a strenuous paddle across some choppy water but transitioning from the water into the slot canyons feels like stepping into another world. Our guide, Sunny, was knowledgeable, professional, and full of great local insights! We are in our 60’s and in good shape and had no difficulties on this trip. Highly recommend for a unique way to experience Antelope Canyon!
We had a great time on this tour. The lake and the canyon were beautiful, and our guides were super friendly and had lots of great info about the canyon. They made getting in and out of the kayaks a breeze and took care of everything. The kayaking was definitely more strenuous on the way back as the wind picked up and there were more wakes from the power boats, but it was very manageable. We loved this and would absolutely recommend!
Easy to Moderate paddle and hike with amazing scenery. Our guide Cameran was great and helpful when needed.
Our family of four adults and two children were treated to a nice, easy hike after a somewhat strenuous 2 mile paddle to lower Antelope Canyon. Our guide, Sky, was great, spending extra time to take us deeper into the canyon. The walk in the canyon was sandy and flat. Our granddaughter even walked barefoot some. The return paddle was a little rough because of the motor boats they allow in the lake, so we were all ready for a hearty lunch afterward.
We really enjoyed our tour guide, Levi! He was the best. Him and his partner are very knowledgeable about the canyon. Levi will take as many pictures as you want and will give you solo time to take your own pictures. I would recommend bringing water shoes and regular ones to change into and a change of clothes because you will get wet in the kayak or wear dark clothing. I brought my water backpack and a towel to dry off. I would call ahead of time to make sure you all the items you need to be prepared.
Awesome trip. Bring some water. Get ready to row. Hike was mostly easy, couple of crawl up a boulder spots if you have enough time to get as far up the canyon as we were able. Would easily have turned the kayak right back around and taken another tour. You will regret it forever if you turn this one down.
It’s very great trip and good for people who have an outdoor enthusiasm combined with the activities Camron was my tour guide was very helpful and nice and greatly recommended for the tour
My sister and I had an awesome time on this trip thanks to Sunni! She was so knowledgeable about everything ranging from geology, safety, paddling technique, history, etc. She also went out of her way to take photos of all us and was a great fun vibe overall. The tour itself was beautiful. The hike was easy and I did it barefoot. The kayak trip back was a little more challenging with the choppy water but that’s excepted in the lake channel. Overall 11/10 recommend
This was the most fantastic trip!! Stunning views! Good kayaking and hiking , not hard, little choppy coming back but very doable, a different view going back because of sun absolutely beautiful! Our guide , Levi was amazing! He was very knowledgeable and nice!
Travelled with family from Michigan. Sunni was an outstanding guide and not because she was a fellow "Michigander". She was very knowledgeable and helped everyone in our group have a safe and unique experience. I would definately recommend.
Do the first tour of the day (and make sure to read the note about the time because half the city is one hour different than the other). The later it gets, the more people you will need to contend with for pictures without other people in them. Absolutely stunning scenery throughout the canyon but be respectful of this place.
Fantastic experience from beginning to end, and our tour guide, Sunni, was amazing! She was incredibly thorough and shared so much about the rich culture, history, and formation of the lake and canyons. You’ll kayak for 2 miles, hike through Antelope Canyon for 2 miles, and then kayak 2 miles back. The canyons are absolutely beautiful; truly a sight to see! The water can get a little choppy at times, but overall, being out on the water is so peaceful. Such a fun and unique experience. 10/10. Highly recommend!
Our guide Levi was amazing and had so much knowledge about antelope creek and its history and the wildlife in the area. If you book this trip. A suggestion would be to book the earlier trip (as we did) because the water is calm in the morning and the suns not right on you. The return kayaking portion is not for everyone. As antelope marine starts getting busy with boats. You will run into some waves and the sun will be right above you. We loved it! But we definitely saw some members of another tour guide struggling. No need to fear if you have Levi as your guide. He will offer to tow you if need be. All around great experience and would do it again if we visit Page, AZ again!
An incredible experience, but be aware: it’s very physically demanding! The scenery is simply breathtaking. Seeing Antelope Canyon from the water is truly magnificent; it’s an amazing experience, and I highly recommend going for it if you get the chance! 🤩 However, I think it’s important to warn participants about the difficulty level. There is a minimum of about two hours of walking, with some sections requiring you to scramble or climb over rocks. Then, you have to factor in at least an hour and a half of kayaking. In some places, the canyon widens significantly and the water gets choppy, making the kayaking quite a workout. So, a word of caution: this activity isn't for everyone. You need a reasonable level of fitness and, above all, the right gear. I strongly recommend sportswear or a swimsuit, and—most importantly—sneakers. Avoid jeans or any clothing that restricts your movement while walking or climbing. Regarding the tour operator, there is some room for improvement: the kayaks aren't top quality, no water is provided, and we didn't receive a message the day before with practical details or gear recommendations. Despite these issues, the scenery makes it well worth it, and the experience remains incredible. Just make sure you’re physically prepared and have the right gear! 🏜️🛶✨
This was an amazing experience. Levi, our guide, was amazing, sweet & informative. The only negative, is getting to the Kayak area & leaving the area to go home. The walk is difficult if you have on water shoes. It was slippery in some spots. I still highly recommend this experience.
The experience was fenomenal. The only thing that was deceiving was that the tour was suppose to include a snack and there was none. We just got water at the end of the trip.
This tour was an awesome experience, in fact FAR BETTER than our tour to the "top rated" Upper Antelope Canyon. In addition to my wife and me, our group had only 4 other people plus Cam who served as our guide. We kayaked on Lake Powell for about 45 minutes, then kayaked another 30 minutes into Antelope Canyon. Then the best part of the tour started with a hike another 2 miles into the narrowing canyon. This was an ideal tour if you enjoy paddling and want to see the grandeur of Antelope Canyon in an extremely small group setting. To top it off, Cam was the PERFECT GUIDE by providing fascinating information about Lake Powell and the canyon, but also giving us space to enjoy the experience and take amazing photos.
It was an amazing experience, our guide Sunni was great. Water was great temperature and the hike was very enjoyable. Definitely recommend it
Barkley was an amazing guide. Very personal and informative. The weather was perfect 80 and sunny!!!
What an amazing kayak trip. Cameron was a fantastic guide, his expertise and educational insights made the journey both fun and deeply engaging. Highly recommend.
We had the best time! If you are looking for adventure and immersing yourself into the canyon this is the trip you want to take. It is very physical, but so worth it! We kayaked 2 miles through the majestic canyon to the beach, hiked the canyon with the soft sand under your feet and the waves of sandstone thousands of years old soaring to the sky. It was a magical once in a life time experience. Our tour guide was knowledgeable, personable and made our trip even more special. Our family now have memories to last a lifetime. I highly recommend!
Amazing - this was great from start to finish. Beautiful views! Skye and Levi were amazing guides and couldn’t have asked for better ones to make this experience better.
Great guide, perfect day, went on time, good experience. Would recommend this to friends and family.
Great experience kayaking and hiking at Antelope Canyon. Guide was knowledgeable and informative. All Equipment required was provided and well maintained. Fun to be on the water and an Amazing hike in an otherworldly place.
We had such an amazing time on the Kayak and Hike tour! Our guide was really great, she gave us so much information and really seemed passionate about the tour, the history and providing a safe and interesting experience! Would definitely recommend!
Great tour for active people. Kayaking to and from Antelope Canyon felt pretty adventurous. The hike was not difficult at all. However, it can get uncomfortable if not prepared for the sun and heat, as well as foot gear…. No flip flops or slides! Water shoes will to great. I wished we would have had a chance to swim during the tour, but access after was relatively easy.
This was an incredible experience and it felt like an out of this world adventure. Definitely something that will stick with me for the rest of my life. My partner and I kept commenting to ourselves how amazing and unbelievable the views were. Keep in mind that it will really benefit you to have some prior kayaking experience and be in somewhat fit condition for this tour. There is no real current but parts of the kayaking route were sloshy due to wind and wake from the boats and you WILL get wet. There was one area during the hiking portion that required climbing up into the canyon (with the guides help) that not everyone in our group was super comfortable with, but eventually made it happen. However we were told that this was also because of the low water levels so this could change in the future. Logan, our guide, was super friendly, knowledgable, and helpful. He wasn’t too pushy or overly in your face to try to charm you like some tour guides on Viator can be. You could tell he was very familiar with the lake and canyon. He had lots of knowledge to share and interesting tidbits about Navajo culture as well. Come prepared based on the instructions and you’ll have a magical time!
This was a very nice tour and a unique opportunity to get onto Lake Powell and up into a slot canyon on the water. The hike portion of the tour was also very nice and a lot of fun. Our guide, Sky, was very knowledgeable and helped make the tour enjoyable.
This was a fantastic experience! Levy is very knowledgeable and very accommodating to the groups needs. We couldn’t have asked for a better guide.
Wear your swimsuit and water shoes. You are going to get wet from the minute you get into the kayak. Lake Powell can be rough and choppy. Make sure at least one of you are a good paddler. This may not be the best trip for an older couple or young kids, you need a some strength to get to the canyon.
This is moreso just an intense kayaking adventure. Your hiking time is unguided and very quick. You barely get to see the famous canyon views that you came for. Additionally, our tour guide must’ve woken up on the wrong side of the bed because he was extremely mean and cranky the first half of the tour.
Very informative pre activity and pre kayaking. Levi was our tour guide and he is informative and fun with the group. Definitely recommend!
It was a great experience with wonderful scenery and a bit of history along the way. The guide was very friendly and knowledgable. Kept checking on us how we were doing and helping us with taking photos. Wonderful experience. :)
This tour was so amazing!! The kayaking is so neat—it is a little bit of a trip, but it is totally worth it. The hike through the canyon was beautiful. The hike is flat and easy. The most physically demanding part was the kayaking back. The lake was pretty choppy with all the boats. 10/10 recommend this trip!
The kayaking tour on lake Powell to the Waterhole canyon was an exhilarating experience with unforgettable views. The tour guides Berkley and Nolan were very accommodating and knowledgeable. They helped us in anyway possible even taking amazing panoramic pictures for us. We were able to get in the water at the end and it was very refreshing. I highly recommend this tour company 👌
It was amazing! Our tour guide was Sky and she was very knowledgeable, patient with our group and funny.
Good experience overall. Kayaking is long almost 4 miles so be prepared and its not one way its both way you need to Kayak. So have enough water and make sure you wear full clothes to avoid sunburns.
While we enjoyed this experience, I can’t say that I would do it again and I would only recommend it to those that are capable of walking in sand and stone. First we had trouble finding the meeting point… the directions did mot take us to it. We had to stop at another point in the park and ask. Secondly, we had to walk down a steep sand and rocky hill ( and back up at the end) that had we not been in decent shape, I am not sure we would have been capable. The kayaking was work but it was fun too. The water was rough the day we went because it was a holiday weekend and there were many boats out. So there were some decent waves. Once we got to Antelope canyon, the water was calm and it was quiet and peaceful on our way back to the landing. The hike was mostly easy except for a couple of areas where recent flooding washed away the sand and left significant changes in the unevenness of the floor of the canyon, having to climb up or down. The walls of the canyon were beautiful. Our guide was somewhat knowledgeable about the canyon and history. I personally would have liked to learn more about the Navajo people who owned the land. Bring a water protectant carrier for your phone so you can take pictures, I would wore hiking sandals and recommend them or socks and shoes (knowing they will get wet). Also bring plenty of water (2L at least) and snacks as you are working much of the experience and it is a long 4 hours. Bring sunscreen as well! Be prepared to get wet. There are bathrooms at the dock but not a great place to change clothing. Wet bags and life jackets were provided. Again, we enjoyed the experience but I doubt I would do it again.
We had an amazing kayaking and hiking tour of Antelope Canyon with Red Rock! The canyon views from the water and on foot are absolutely stunning, but what really made the trip stand out was our guide, Logan. Logan actually grew up in the area, and it shows. His local knowledge and insights added so much depth to the trip, and he went above and beyond to make sure everyone in the group was safe, comfortable, and well taken care of throughout the entire excursion. A couple of quick tips for anyone thinking about booking: * Prepare for the heat: It gets extremely hot out on the water and in the canyon, so bring plenty of water, sun protection, and proper gear. * Experience helps: While it’s manageable, having some prior kayaking experience is definitely helpful to fully enjoy the paddling portion of the trip. Overall, an unforgettable adventure. I highly recommend booking with Red Rock—and ask for Logan if you can!
We had an absolute blast on the Antelope Canyon Kayaking, Hiking, and Swimming Tour! It was our very first time kayaking, but our guide, Cameron, made us feel completely comfortable and at ease from the start. Cameron was exceptionally professional, attentive, and helpful throughout the entire trip. He shared so many fascinating facts about the hidden sections of Antelope Canyon. We never felt rushed; he gave us plenty of time to paddle at our own pace and enjoy a wonderful, refreshing swim in Lake Powell. If you are thinking about taking this tour, do not hesitate—and ask for Cameron if you can! We highly recommend this tour to anyone looking for a memorable adventure.
