I’ve been fortunate enough to have taken several helicopter tours in various locations domestically and internationally and this organization is top-notch! I originally booked the Ancient Sedona tour then upgraded at the last moment to the Secret Wilderness tour. We had a 9:20am flight with perfect flying conditions in a beautiful helicopter on the Secret Wilderness tour. My adult son and I sat in the rear outside seats which had ample room and fantastic views while an elderly couple occupied the two front seats. Kudos to Conner and Steve for patiently helping the elderly gentleman take his seat and ensuring their comfort. Background music complemented our pilot Steves educational narration of the rock formations, indigenous structures, and the general area in view. Steves dialogue with passengers wasn’t chatty and focused on the experience at hand. The flight pattern was thoughtful and allowed the beauty of Sedona to present itself with dramatic effect. During the flight Steve would pause and/or position the helicopter during certain moments to ensure all passengers could observe things that warranted more than a pass-by. Steves occasional banking and changes in elevation were forewarned and just dramatic enough to add to the experience of being in a helicopter and feel safe. If you’re remotely considering a helicopter tour in Sedona, make it happen with Apex. So glad this was my sons first helicopter flight and I got to share it with him. Thank you Team Apex!

Great experience! The pilot, Steve, was experienced and showed us the amazing spots in Sedona! Easy to book and find them at the Sedona Airport! Conor was so friendly! He gave us the safety briefing and was great driving us to and from the pad while telling us fun facts about the area.

What an amazing experience! I have traveled all over the world, am a licensed skydiver and have hiked to exotic locations but taking a helicopter through those rocks was hard to describe. I would recommend it to anyone going to Sedona.

MUST DO! Tali was professional, pleasant and patient with aging members of our party. Gave us extra care with dignity. Steve, our pilot was a rock star. Professional, SKILLED and personable. He put us on several caves way up the cliffs. His flight was safe and FUN!

One-of-a-kind access to stunning natural beauty and cultural heritage. Apex is a professional operation. Steve is a skillful and knowledgeable pilot, great guide. We paid more to sit in the front - highly recommend. The whole experience is worth the splurge if you can swing it. Mesa Grill across the parking lot is convenient lunch spot before or after, with sweeping views of the mountains.

Went on this tour for a Birthday Celebration and it did not disappoint. Steve was a great pilot and we appreciated his music during the tour as his extensive knowledge of the area .Tali was also very helpful and provided us transportation to and from the airport from their office. We will absolutely recommend Apex tours again.

What an amazing 30 minutes of shear delight! The office staff was amazing, organized & friendly. But Josh, our "MAVERICK PILOT" was phenominal & an expert flying above the tree lines & through the canyons! I would do this trip again in a heart beat!

Conner was courteous, answered our pre-flight questions and ensured we followed safety protocols. Our pilot, Steve, was great. He made sure we knew exactly where to look before arriving to points of interest and shared information all along the tour. Helicopter tour covered similar areas that couldn't be visited due to Federal shutdown.

The mountains & canyons were up close & beautiful! There was blue skies & white clouds. The pilot was instructive as he shared what each mountain was called. He let us know when we were going into a canyon as he gently took us in. This was a wonderful 20 minute experience!

This is a great chance to get up close and personal with Sedona! You get to see a lot of the famous rocks and get a better idea of what's in the area! Super knowledgeable guides who will make sure you get the best view!

What an amazing way to create core memories with your family! I’m so glad I booked this tour and shared this incredible experience with my sons. Steve, our pilot, was professional, experienced, and more importantly made me feel safe. He took the time to interact with us and made sure we were comfortable. He even had a nice cold bottle of water waiting for me! The flight was breathtaking!! It really was. Going through the canyon was a once in a lifetime experience. It was astonishing seeing the tops of these magnificent mountains. I would never have imagined being so close to them. My boys really enjoyed seeing the historical homes! A huge highlight for me was Steve’s playlist. Route 66 was a genius song to end our tour with! Unforgettable. Highly recommend this tour.

The views were awesome and great for photo-shooting! We loved our pilot, Steve because of his personality, knowledge, and professionalism. We felt totally safe under his care. His assistant, Connor was very informative and efficient, getting us to the launch site and making sure we understood all of the safety rules.

This was an amazing experience!!! We loved every minute of it. This company and their entire staff were all extremely professional, friendly and put our safety as their top priority. My husband and I absolutely loved every minute! Wish it was longer, but only because we loved it so much!! We got to see EVERYTHING from the sky (all the major rock formations); which for me was a huge blessing, bc otherwise it would not have been possible due to my back injury and being disabled from it. The price was perfect, and the pilot was very good & very knowledgeable. LOVED IT!!!

Joshua was great, very knowledgeable about the area. I had three children (ages 3, 8, 16) with me and Joshua was very accommodating, especially with the kids, he made the trip very enjoyable for them!!!! The kids really enjoyed him and the flight.

Not too often that you get go a helicopter ride I recommend people go on the longer rides at least 45 minutes it is worth your money.

Easy, casual check-in process with clear instructions leading up to the flight. Pilot was very professional, welcoming, and puts any nerves to ease right away. Helicopter is not your tourist version which made my wife feel better. It's large and comfortable. The tour itself was AMAZING! As our first heli ride it was unnerving at first but the views quickly took that feeling away. This was an experience of a life time. If you have the means, don't question it and just do it. You can't get these views hiking

My family is able to enjoy the magnificent and powerful scenery from the sky with kind and polite explanations of many tourist spots. This view from the sky cannot be enjoyed on the ground. I definitely recommend it. The pilot gave a very kind explanation and operated the helicopter( great pilot!!), and the whole family including children really enjoyed it with peace of mind.

The entire experience was wonderful! Our pilot Joshua did a great job and educated us about Sedona. Highly recommend for pairs of twos!
