My mother and I visited this location for two nights and had an amazing time. All of the staff were very helpful and accommodating. We had a small issue with a cake we ordered but chef Marlon Son Galliguez more than made it up for us. Great service! The valet attendants were very kind and helpful. My mom owns a jeep and loves the rubber duck trend, they saw this and left her a big cowboy duck from the resort! Such a sweet thing to do, she loved it! Amazing experience all around.

As you expect from any Ritz Carlton, the grounds are beautiful and the staff exceptionally - exceptional. As we stayed in August it was pretty much a ghost town, but still, all the staff were wonderful. We brought the grandkids to the pool for the day - they're still talking about the water slide. The (very excellent) waitress made sure we were well stocked with ice water (and beer! for me). My only complaint is that, while you can to the housekeeping staff electronically via the app, the only way to tip the valet parking is cash - or Venmo. Please fix this so that the valet parking team can also be tipped via the BonVoy app.
What an amazing, family friendly resort. I have never been to the Tucson area but stayed here two nights during a road trip out west. What makes this resort top notch is the service. Such friendly staff that went out of their way to interact with my children. The grounds were amazing. I do agree with some of the negative reviews regarding the price of the food and drinks while the quality not matching the price. I did not however eat at all the restaurants. The ranger station was incredible, Brian was so friendly and willing to teach my kids all about the wildlife in the area. Such a lovely experience and we will definitely be back!
My wife and I spent six days at the Dove Mountain Resort this week. We came for much needed R and R and were not disappointed. We were very pleased with the resort as a whole. The rooms are nicely appointed and the common areas inviting. The fitness center has good equipment and was convenient to access. We had a few spa visits which made our stay that much more relaxing. The restaurant options were nice and we also visited Cayton’s which is not on the resort itself. Get to Cayton’s for the views and sunset. It’s great. The food at all restaurants is very solid and we did not have a bad meal. I did not expect to find sushi but the signature rolls at Ignite were really good. The salad options were fresh and enjoyable. What set the resort apart is the staff. They were amazing. They were friendly, engaged, incredibly attentive, and made our experience that much better. Anything we needed, they handled. In no particular order, we would like to thank Reyna, Calob, Brody, Holly, Rene, both Bella’s, Tiffanie, Christian, Grethel (Cayton’s), Luigi, and Dante for making our stay top notch!! If I missed someone I am sorry! Should you travel to this resort, take the time to engage with staff. They are interesting men and women that are eager to please. Don’t over look them or you will miss meaningful engagements!! Thanks Ritz Carlton Dove Mountain!!
We stayed at the Ritz-Carlton Dove Mountain for five nights during Spring break. We had an amazing time, and I couldn't recommend it more. We made our reservation several months in advance and called immediately after to ensure that we would have adjoining rooms with our kids. They made the accommodation with ease. Prior to our stay, we worked with the concierge team to book the tent setup for our kids and custom Easter baskets. The tent was super cute, and my youngest loved it, especially the cactus book. The Easter baskets were beyond what I expected. They asked what my kids liked, and they took those to customize them for each of our kids. Our adjoining rooms were great, and despite sharing a wall with another family with kids, we didn't hear a peep. We arrived the day before Easter and got to participate in the Easter egg hunt, which was fun for our kids. We opted out of brunch because we couldn't justify the kids' price, given that they both don't eat too much. We went to all of the restaurants in the hotel, and each was fantastic. They went above and beyond to make sure our son's anaphylactic egg allergy was accommodated. We went to the restaurant at the golf course, and the service was great, but the food wasn't as great as the other options. We had a cabana for three of the days we were at the hotel, and they were fairly affordable. I would recommend booking early as they use dynamic pricing, and I probably could have paid less. The lower pool was fantastic for kids, and the water slide was a lot of fun, even for grown-ups and smaller kids. If you are not a fan of being around a bunch of families, I would probably avoid coming during Spring break. The resort never felt busy and was incredibly family-friendly. All of the activities that the hotel provided were fantastic. We got to see all kinds of animals that the hotel brought in, like the tiniest owl in the world and the tortoise that my kids named "Jim Bob." We also got to see over a dozen javelinas right next to the pool, which one of the staff members quickly told us not to get too close to, as they bite. We played bocce ball every night and even had s'mores. We also hiked the area and saw lizards and beautiful cacti. I would absolutely recommend the Ritz-Carlton, Dove Mountain, for a family-friendly 5-star experience. We have visited many high-end resorts, and this was by far our best experience. The only thing that is missing, according to my husband, is really good Mexican food. Outside of that, we couldn't have been happier.
