L'auberge De Sedona

We stayed two nights (party of 6) in the Cliff View Suites, and our stay was exceptional. I’m specifically writing to commend Celine at the front desk, who genuinely went above and beyond. I travel for a living and stay in a lot of fine hotels, and Celine’s approach to customer service and her positive attitude were honestly the best I have EVER experienced. We were a big group with plenty of questions, plus a mishap from Amex that messed up our booking, yet she was incredibly patient and somehow managed to make everything work for us. She also gave us fantastic suggestions for our road trip and was such a lovely person to deal with throughout our stay. Her level of care felt completely genuine, and it made a huge difference. I have very high expectations when staying at expensive hotels, and it’s rare for someone to genuinely exceed them. Celine did exactly that. Her level of service was exceptional, and she is more than a real asset to the hotel and should be encouraged to grow into her role. Thank you Celine!

The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, both at check-in and at the valet parking. After checking in, we drove up to the upper level, where the valet staff were already waiting for us. The whole process was very smooth and pleasant. In the morning, we enjoyed breakfast by the creek, followed by feeding the ducks. It was such a peaceful and lovely way to start the day. Unfortunately, our flight was delayed, so we missed the evening Kundalini yoga session, which was a little disappointing. I would have loved to experience it during our stay. This is definitely a hotel where I would have liked to stay longer. Next time, I would love to stay here for two or more nights, ideally from the second night of our Sedona trip onward. The location was also perfect for visiting Airport Mesa around both sunset and sunrise, which made it very convenient for enjoying the beauty of Sedona at different times of the day. Overall, it was a wonderful stay, and I would happily come back. ♿️👍

The views at this resort are stunning, but that’s where the positives end. This place is beyond overpriced for what you get. Our room was not clean; the shower had hair, mold, and was not what I expected given the price for these rooms. We arrived a bit early after receiving a text message to check in at the 254 location. Well, we were promptly greeted by a gentleman working valet. He seemed beyond frustrated we were there and the communication issues started there. He was kind enough to accommodate and so we explored the downtown area while waiting for our room. We were not offered a pool key or any access to the amenities upon arrival. While the staff are kind, it’s a disorganized mess to try to get your bags from your car to your room. Celene checked us in. Celene is one of the most amazing members and she was truthfully one of the best parts of our check-in process. The bellman who helped us during checkout was also amazing, but most of the other staff seemed relatively miserable. Our housekeeper was unable to communicate with us and didn’t clean our room or give us new towels. She did make the bed, but that was it. Dining options are extremely limited. I would expect more given the size of the property. All of the activities planned were canceled because of the weather and no alternatives were offered. The entire stay was overshadowed by the completely unprofessional housekeeping staff. The manager was literally banging on my door (not a kind knock) while I was in the restroom getting ready to leave. While I understand checkout can be chaotic, there is no excuse. I asked management to follow up and there has been radio silence. No phone call or email. Go to literally any other resort in Sedona. 10/10 would not recommend.

My fiancee and now wife eloped up in Sedona over the weekend and chose L'Auberge as home base to enjoy our weekend. What an amazing time! The front desk, the valet, room service, everyone was absolute exceptional! I loved the text service to get anything that you need as I used that a few times. The amenities were great and the location was just as great. Being next to the creek provided a great opportunity for excellent post-wedding photos also. What made this the most memorable was the bartender, Zach, up at the Duck Pond Cliffside Pool & Bar. The vibes coming off of that man were the best, and him alone would be a reason to book at this hotel once more. Thanks for the memories and we will return!
