My wife came across this place for our first visit to Sedona. It embodied all that is Sedona. Lovely boutique architecture, peaceful grounds, friendly staff, great breakfast, and stunning views. Room was spacious and comfortable with great amenities like kitchenette, fireplace, soaking tub and balcony. We will be back and won't need to consider anywhere else when we return. Highly recommend you try this property.
Where to start? The reviews are spot on. This property is practically perfection. Nestled on a quiet street in Sedona, perched on a hill, the property has fantastic views and cool quiet vibes. Positively groovy. You park right outside the door to your room. But it is more than a room. It really feels like a small home you wish you owned. The staff is wonderful. From the first call to make a reservation to check in to drop in for recommendations the staff makes guests a priority. I chose a room with a balcony and the view is fantastic. It is quiet, calming, private. I just wish I could stay longer.
Love this Elegant and iconic building! The view from our room was incredible, very spacious, beautifully set up and spotless, the bed and pillows were super comfortable. The bathroom was spacious and the shower was great. The reception staff was very helpful. Breakfast was excellent every morning and had lots of options. The mirrors in the restaurant give different angles to enjoy. Dancing House has a great location with great view of local sites . The bar at the top has a lot of potential but the drinks were not good and the outside deck is way too small but the view from up there is awesome. Would love to come back again.
What a magical place. If you are looking for a peaceful place where you can get away from the craziness and people who decend on Sedona every day and still enjoy the beauty and charm of both Sedona and the southwest, this is the place. Beautiful place with great views, super clean and well maintained rooms and unique public spaces with quirky art in amongst the well kept grounds, this place has it all. Oh, even the breakfast was unexpectedly great. We loved our brief visit and guarantee we found our go to place in Sedona from this point forward. We absolutely loved our stay at Sunset Chateau! From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by how personable, welcoming, and helpful the staff was. Even within the first hour, we knew this place was special. The views from rooms 18–24 are absolutely incredible — some of the best views we experienced in Sedona! The rooms were spotless, luxurious, and thoughtfully prepared for our arrival. We were greeted with a bottle of wine waiting in our room to celebrate our engagement, which was such a meaningful touch. We ended up loving the property so much that we decided to extend our stay another night. There was a mix-up between the in-person booking and the online reservation system, but the owners personally stepped in, made everything right, and graciously accommodated us for the additional night. Their kindness and professionalism truly stood out and made us feel genuinely cared for. We are so thankful to the staff and owners for making our Sedona trip unforgettable. The property itself is unique, peaceful, and beautiful — and the breakfast was excellent too! We will absolutely be coming back and highly recommend Sunset Chateau to anyone visiting Sedona.
