Our absolutely top experience in Jordan. The authenticity of the experience is undescribable. We did the desert tour with Mohammed, who was an overall great tour. After the tour we had a time for ourselves which we used for a quick, very needed , nap. Dinner was so called "upside down" which was delicious and frankly much better than the one we had in a restaurant in the city. We spent the evening by fire in a Bedouin tent with Mohammed, his brother Ali and their father and it was absolutely awesome. We chatted, drank their delicious tea and they even prepared us a Bedouin style coffee. Without exaggeration one of the best experiences I have ever had.
Muhammad has been very nice with me and my girlfriend. The tent had everything we needed: spacious, comfortable, new. Simply perfect. We had dinner with him: he prepared some delicious food (special mention for chicken bbq). Then we had the possibility to spend the night around the fireplace, conversating and disconnecting from routine. The next day he took with him to have a desert tour that was simply lovely. We met great people in the camp and we created a unique bond with him. I’ll surely come to visit him in the future

This was my second time to Wadi Rum and the second time with Ali as the host. The first time was in 2023 and included a 4-hour jeep tour plus a night in the camp for a group of three. I liked it so much that when I came to Jordan again in 2025, in a group of ten, we decided to go again with Ali for a full day tour, plus a night at the camp. I was a bit worried that I will just relive the experience from two years back, but I rationalized this by thinking that my family & friends, who were there for the first time, will have an incredible treat. I could not have been more wrong about the first part. I experienced the desert as if for the first time. I saw some completely new, fascinating places (I think only one overlapped between the two trips), Ali cooked us lunch in the middle of nowhere from scratch (it wasn't pre-made), made us feel part of his family when we sat around the fire at night, listened to Bedouin stories and songs and passed the bread and Bedouin tea. We spent the night under the stars, and early in the morning climbed up to see the sunrise. On our way back, we even staged a race between two pickups (because we were a group of ten, we moved in two pickups), which was also amazing and made a great video when put together from all cameras from both pickups. If (or rather when) I'm in Wadi Rum the third time, it will be once more with Ali!

I jus have GOOD WORDS for Alí, Mohamed and their family. We have lived there one the best experiences in our lifes. Unforgettable. The tour, to sleep under the stars, to share dinner with their mum and dad, good moments around the fire drinking tea an coffee, an amazing sunset, the rooms, the food… We have no words to describe everything we have lived and experienced with them. Their hospitality, kindness, all the things made with love from their heart… just AWESOME. We highly recommend to go there. It was one of our best experiences in our lives. The 4wd tour was fantastic, we’ve got interesting information about the desert and Bedouin lives. Everyone in the camp was so nice and hospitable. Everything in the camp was perfect, food, tents, camels, fireplace. Just amazing. We would like to thank you again, especially to Ali’s brother Mohammad who spent with us the whole day. We just regret that we didn’t have more time. Because one night is not enought. See you soon.
This was an amazing tour! Ali and his family are incredibly nice and great guides, but also understand the importance of having your own time to connect to the desert. We did one night at the camp and slept under the stars in a secluded valley, though there were great cabins for full showers and toilets. The food was amazing and Ali and his family give you a real peek into their real lives. It was less about telling and more about showing and letting you observe the Bedouin lifestyle and experience. Incredible, one of a kind experience!
I cant put into words how much me and my friend enjoyed this experience. Probably our best experience in Jordan. Ali, his brother Mohammad and his family are the nicest kindest people. Just come with open heart and you will have the best time. Our trip was as follows: We arrived in the morning, let our stuff in the camp and went for a jeep tour into the desert. We stopped at the must-see sights. We also made a stop in canyon and Mohammad cooked us a lunch and taught us to play bedouin game. Then we headed to the camp. In the evening we went for a camel ride to see sunset. Afterwards we had bedouin coffe, tea and talk. Then we had great dinner. Since the dinner was finished, we sat at the campfire and spent hours and hours talking. I wished the time to stop.
We thoroughly enjoyed this trip; everything was perfect from beginning to end. We loved the campsite's location, surrounded by impressive rocks. The food and tea were delightful. I particularly enjoyed listening to Ali’s stories and felt his deep connection with this place. The night in the desert was amazing! I definitely recommend this experience and wish all the best to Ali and his family

S Alim a jeho bratrem Mohammedem jsme prožili nezapomenutelný čas ve Wadi Rum. Na začátku nás čekala projížďka jeepem, která nám umožnila prozkoumat nádhernou krajinu, kde se natáčela i řada filmů. Dokonce jsme stihli i jizdu vlakem ( Wadi rum train ride adventure) kam nás odvezli a pak na nás hodinu počkali než se z projížďky vrátíme. Poté jsme měli téměř dvouhodinovou procházku v poušti na velbloudech. V kempu nám ukázali svoje zvířátka. Kozy a velbloudy. Zvířátka jsme si mohli pohladit a nakrmit. Vidět desetidenní velblouďátko bylo opravdu kouzelné! Jídla, které nám Ali a Mohammed připravili, byla naprosto vynikající. Oběd, večeře i snídaně. Bylo to nejlepší jídlo, které jsme v Jordánsku jedli.Měli jsme možnost nahlédnout do jejich kuchyně, která byla úhledně čistá a pečlivě uklizená. Takovou úroveň hygieny by ocenil i pan Pohlreich z Česka (známý kuchař). Kemp, který byl ukrytý mezi skalami, nabízel privátní a chráněné ubytování s luxusními podmínkami. Náš domeček měl teplou vodu ve sprše, čisté toalety a dokonce i velké okno, ze kterého jsme mohli pozorovat hvězdy přímo z postele, pokud jsme si nezatáhli roletu. Ali je skvělý hostitel a dokáže zrealizovat program přesně podle vašich přání. Předem se s ním dohodnete na ceně, což nás potěšilo, protože jsme se vyhnuli skrytým poplatkům, které jinde bývají časté. Jiné kempy se mohou zdát levnější, ale brzy zjistíte, že dodatečné poplatky za projížďky a další aktivity mohou cenu výrazně navýšit. Večer jsme trávili u ohně, vychutnávali si skvělý čaj a kávu, a také jsme měli štěstí na noční pozorování hvězd. To, kolik hvězd vidíte v poušti, je doslova úchvatné. Celkově hodnotím naši zkušenost s Alim a Mohammedem jako úžasnou a doporučuji ji všem, kteří hledají autentický a pamětihodný zážitek v Jordánsku. Opravdu to stálo za to a s plnou důvěrou mohu říct – 100% spokojenost!
Best experience of our entire stay in Jordan! We had the chance to discover the legendary hospitality of the Bedouins thanks to Ali and his team, who did everything to make our stay unforgettable. We came across Desert Secret Camp a little by chance, on the advice of travelers we met in Aqaba, and booked a four-hour jeep ride as soon as we arrived in Wadi Rum. The experience was incredible. The desert is splendid and our guide, Abdulah, of rare kindness, has made sure that every moment counts. The camp offers many activities: jeep tours, hiking, climbing the highest peak of the desert, sandboarding and more. Meals, whether lunch in the desert or dinner at the camp, were tasty and generous. In the evening, we shared tea around the fire listening to Ali’s stories and Bedouin songs. It was a magical and timeless moment. Originally, we booked the night in another more “commercial” camp, but faced with hidden fees, we decided to cancel and gladly accepted Ali’s invitation to sleep at Desert Secret Camp. The “tents” are actually spacious, fully equipped and very comfortable high-end bungalows. Ali’s kindness, generosity and sincerity touched us deeply. We could not have dreamed better. Na pustyni Wadi Rum byliśmy z przyjaciółmi na początku listopada 2025 r. Absolutnie nieziemskie doświadczenie. Ali perfekcyjnie przygotował nasz pobyt.
