One Day Petra & Wadi Rum From Aqaba

Great day out picked up from al manara hotel in Aqaba. Had Jordan pass so went for transfers and driver/ guide only option which was considerably cheaper. At Petra had 2 hours with guide then another 1 hour free time. If you want to climb to monastery you will need a different option for more time. Buffet lunch was 15 Jod per person including drinks. The food was good and I thought a fair price. Note that the Jordan pass gets you into Wadi Rum but there is an additional cost for the jeep to get you around. May have been 20 Jod. Our guide Abdulla was courteous informative and efficient. Some of the paperwork in advance of the trip was a bit ambiguous. If you book the transfer only option then that is what you get. Fantastic and memorable day out.

This was an amazing tour...very skilled and safe and friendly driver Petra was beyond description and the guide was very expert and engaging The Jeep tour was a hoot and Wadi Rum just incredible! I highly recommend this tour One of the best days of touring ever for me!

Khaled picked us up from our Aqaba hotel in the morning. He is very kind and a careful driver. We had an amazing visit and guide in Petra before a great lunch and going to Wadi Rum. Our Jeep driver in Wadi Rum, Ali, was also a great guide and we arrived on time for the sunset! We took amazing pictures and made great memories! Thank you!!

We were promptly met by Khaled on the day at our hotel in Aqaba, in a new SUV. Khaled was a great driver and very conscientious and he had packed lots of water for the day. He helped us find our guide at Petra and We did not feel any time pressure at all when we were there - we spent 4 hours at the sight. We were then taken to a lovely lunch place before heading to Wadi Rum. At Wadi Rum we had our own private Jeep which was great as we could move from sight to sight at our own pace. Overall, we had a wonderful day out and would recommend this tour.

I was in a very bad mood this morning, but the moment we met Khalid Badawi he managed to cheer me up. His company is pleasurable and he is very flexible with time and places we wanna go to. He is knowledgeable and well aware of how to take care of people who ride with him. After a beautiful long day we were pretty exhausted and I personally felt like having the best Shawerma in Aqaba. He recommended a place, ordered for us and took us there to pick up the order on our way back to the hotel. Khalid is definitely one of the best tour guides we ever had. I would say we were pretty lucky to have him.

Jakob Dasan was our driver over several days and several long trips. He is extremely helpful and knowledgeable. We didn't have money, he lent us some. I didn't have a jacket and was freezing and he gave me his. We are hungry, he stops for us. I feel like I'm traveling with a family member! I am so grateful for his incredible service!! HABIBI ❤️

We had a great tour with our tour guide Mutaz and our driver Ali .Both were friendly ,pleasant and professional.Mutaz in particular was very knowledgeable ,and caring .We were a group of eight and we all had a memorable experience at Petra and the Rum valley.Our 12 hours tour was comprehensive and included in addition to visiting Petra and the Rum Valley,Lunch at Elkantara ,a nice Jordanian restaurant that served a nice Middle East food and delicious desserts .We ended our tour with a stop to see a historic shipping train and a ride in four by four cars where we marveled at the beauty of the desert and its colorful landscape.Thank you Mutaz and Ali for an amazing tour and great time .

We had a great tour starting by three and half hours visit to Petra followed by lunch in a restaurant ,a visit to a historical train station and finally the Rum valley where we took a four by four truck and sat in the back of an open truck ,touring the desert and taking more photos.

Absolutely need to be done! We did the One Day Petra & Wadi Rum from Aqaba tour. Started from Aqaba where Tariq picked us up and took us to Petra, then moved to Wadi Rum for a Jeep tour of the desert where we enjoyed the sunset. Dinner (amazing!) and night spent at the camp before to leave the morning after. Everything was amazing but something really worth a mention is Tariq, who has been absolutely fantastic! Thank you!

Excellent organization from Bridge travel. Our driver and also guide, Tariq is very cool and nice guy. We had splendid time with him and the whole organization. The best in town.

Private day tour was very enjoyable to catch both highly rated tourist sites in Jordon in one day. Driver and two break stops were great. Jordon people very friendly, and enjoyed talking with us where ever we went. We would prefer a sit down local restaurant in Petra compared to the buffet lunch provided for the tourists. Overall, we would recommend this tour and our provider. Highly enjoyed.

The day went as described. A punctual pick up in a nice hybrid car driven by the courteous Mahmood. Arrived and visited the amazing Petra site, had a decent lunch at a restaurant nearby before making our way to Wadi Rum for a nice desert Jeep drive and experience. Everything was taken care of and there was no hassle and just for that, it was worth it. All guides were very informative and willing to make our visit enjoyable.

We highly recommend Bridge Travel Agency and specially Hani Marie who organized our perfect vacation in Jordan.we enjoyed the magnificent views of the desert during a jeep tour , slept in a bubble tent recommended by Hani .The next day we had a private tour to Petra which was an unforgetable experience. Wow, this should not be missed! Ali the drive picked us up, awesome guy and good driver. The driver was not too long and the air was getting cooler even though it was late August. We stopped for 3 hours in Petra. Very easy and shaded walk down but a bit harder up so we went on horseback. From there we went wadi rum which was absolutely stunning. We were welcomed with tea and took a short ride at the back of a pickup truck. It was amazing. The day ended with a great meal (traditional meat and large selection of non meat dishes) at a campsite. We even saw a meteorite which made the whole day perfect. Thanks Hani for organising this wonderful day. I strongly recommend Hani and this trip to anyone. Well worth it!!!!!

If you only have 24h I recommend this tour as it covers both Petra and Wadi Rum. The driver picked us up at our hotel in time and the guides at Petra and wadi Rum were great

Our arrival in Jordan was very easy thanks to our Meet and Greet. Our private driver/guide Jacoob turned out to be exceptional. Very informative and personalized authentic comments. Excellent and careful driver. Most pleasant three days in his company.

This is one of the best trips I've had. They were very polite and friendly. Everything went fast. The food we had at lunch was delicious. Absolutely recommend.

On the morning of the booking there was a technical issue at the port due to a change of vehicle/driver which in turn caused 30 min delay to departure. The driver ( who was fantastic ) spoke little English, being a 2 hour drive we expected to be given some key information about the area as we travelled. Upon arrival at Petra, we were not given any specific instructions regarding the tour, we were told in broken English no rush and later we will watch sunset at Wadi Rum, I was given drivers phone number and told to phone him on our way back to site entrance at Petra. We then met our tour guide at Petra and started our tour, the guide again was very friendly and knowledgeable. However the tour felt rushed with little time for photos with the explanation of plenty of time for photos on way back. We weren’t given any water or information regarding lunch during tour and as my partner is diabetic we ended up buying our own lunch at Petra. At 2:15 I then received WattsApp message informing us driver was ready to take us to Wadi Rum, it was only be chance I seen this and bizarre choice of contact as I had I given th driver my phone number, It then just took us 30 mins to return to the entrance only then to be to told that Wadi Rum was now finished. We were taken to a stop off for lunch but as we already had bought lunch this was no longer required. So we were just returned to our ship. This tour was very poorly organised, poor information / communication and certainly didn’t warrant cancelling, especially as lunch wasn’t required making up for any so called lost time. I would advise anyone planning on booking this to think twice, it is impossible to fully experience Petra in 1 day let alone trying to squeeze everything else in. If you have the time book for separate days or pick one or the other. I would have safer money, been afforded more time had I booked on my cruise ship, unfortunately I didn’t have this information prior to my trip.

We had the most amazing trip. Our lovely driver picked us up at the hotel to drive us to Petra. We had a great guide who told us loads of interesting information about the historic city. The lunch was very good with lots of choice. Our driver then drove us to Wadi Rum for the jeep safari. Our driver was again great we took us all around the most beautiful sites and we watched the spectacular sunset. Best day and would recommend this trip to anyone. Thank you again.

Please use Google translate. In April 2023, we arrived in the port of AQABA-Jordan on our MSC cruise ship. We are a group of 6 Belgians on a cruise in the Red Sea. MSC's excursions for Jordan were sold out weeks beforehand. Then I go on a google search. Here we found an excursion from Bridge Travel. A day trip including luxury private transport and guide for visit Petra and Wadi Rum. After a few contacts with Mr. Hani from Bridge Travel we booked this tour. The driver picked us up at the ship and Mohamed, the guide, led us all day in perfect English language. I'm gonna take the trip and the ride with 4X4 through the desert here do not describe in detail. But this day was by far the most beautiful of our entire holiday. Definitely worth my recommendation. Our driver TARAK (Bridge Travel Tours) was waiting for us at the port at the agreed time. Immediately a bond of friendship was formed and throughout the day he kept surprising us. He shared with us his experience and the love of his country. With a lot of humor, we visited (at our own pace) Petra and Wadi Rum and a quick tour of Aqaba before returning to port. Despite a delay in crossing the border due to our mistake, I solved the problem and arranged the crossing. The trip to the hotel and the next day to Petra must have been with a air-conditioned car and internet. The driver was very nice and an interesting person. Everything went smoothly and excellently, strongly recommend hiring the services of Hanni and guarantees you will get a fun tour.
