I had an absolutely wonderful stay at Marina Plaza Hotel, Tala Bay. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the warm welcome, professionalism, and genuine hospitality of the entire team. The hotel has a beautiful and relaxing atmosphere, with clean and comfortable rooms, lovely swimming pools, well-maintained facilities, and easy access to the beach. The location in Tala Bay is perfect for anyone looking for a peaceful getaway while still enjoying everything Aqaba has to offer. The breakfast was delicious and offered a great variety, and the quality of the food was excellent. What really made the experience special, however, was the staff. Everyone was friendly, helpful, and always ready to assist with a smile. Marina Plaza is an excellent choice for families, couples, and anyone looking for a relaxing holiday in Aqaba. The combination of location, facilities, cleanliness, food, and outstanding hospitality makes this hotel a place I would happily return to. Highly recommended! Thank you to the entire Marina Plaza Tala Bay team for making the stay truly memorable. I’m already looking forward to coming back!

Our stay at Marina Plaza Tala Bay was a very nice experience. The room was clean and comfortable. The hotel was family oriented, the staff was very nice and friendly. I like to recognize two very nice and helpful people that maid my stay at the hotel more pleasant. Wala at the dinning facilities she is one of the sweetest ladies I’ve encountered, and J.P. Santos in house keeping also a very nice and pleasant person. The hotel is very nice.
Honest opinion First of all, I was in the city of Aqaba, and I was looking for a five-star hotel with a beach that was also affordable. I made the reservation over the phone, and the staff member who answered was extremely helpful. When I arrived at the hotel, the reservation process was so smooth and quick. I got my room, and it was beautiful—spacious, comfortable, and very clean. The beach was a bit of a walk away, but I enjoyed the stroll through the Tala Bay area. Once I reached the beach, I did have one small note: I hope the rocks at the start of the beach can be removed. But once you get into the water, it’s all sand, and I really enjoyed swimming. In the evening, when I returned to the hotel, the hotel manager was at the door—he was such a funny, polite person. The fact that the hotel GM personally welcomed guests and interacted with them was fantastic. Also, there were other staff members I got to thank ( Bahar ) who handled the valet and carried my bags to the room—he work hard with big smile. I also want to thank the chef who prepared the breakfast ( Sarah ) she said a really beautiful phrase that I’ve never heard in any five-star hotel I’ve stayed in. It gave me an amazing feeling. In the evening, I sat on the balcony, and my room overlooked the pool. I watched people walking around, enjoying themselves, and the atmosphere was so lovely—I didn’t feel like I was in a hotel; it felt like I was in a charming village. I absolutely loved this place and could spend hours here without getting bored. As for the rest of the staff, I’d like to thank all of them for their excellent service and hospitality. Soecial thanks for Mr. Faris Hijazeen the GM for kindly welcoming And the chef Sarah Al hmmoud And Bahar for help and hard work And for F&B manager Mohammed Nassar And the rest of amazing staff
A treasure of a place, on the edge of a pretty marina that you wouldn't realise exists from the main road. This was our first time staying in Tala Bay, and I highly recommend it for a relaxing beach holiday. The snorkeling, even close to the shore, is great; we even saw a lion fish close to one of the jetties after someone threw bread into the water (so watch out!). The beach is shared with the Grand Tala Bay Hotel next door, and is a short walk down past attractive shops and the marina. We got a great last-minute discount for three nights after booking directly through the hotel - the service was excellent - and we were upgraded to a sea view on arrival, which was a bonus! I did feel our room could have been swept a bit more, as it was quite sandy underfoot when we arrived. However, the beds were super comfy, always a sign of a good room in my opinion! There are three fairly shallow pools, one specifically for children, where they provide entertainment for the children every morning. (Gentle yoga stretches.) The two places on site to eat are the main restaurant - serving an excellent buffet breakfast, as well as a somewhat expensive, but very varied all-you-can eat dinner - and a cafe/bar close to reception which serves staples such as spaghetti bolognese at very affordable prices. I felt the reception area does need to be bigger and better-staffed. It's very small compared to the size of the hotel and number of guests, and it was always very busy when we were there (towards the end of October). Otherwise I highly recommend this hotel for a stay in Tala Bay, so much more affordable but just as nice as its very much more expensive competitors next door, the Grand Tala and Marriott.
