This was a terrible app. Really expensive and did not work at all, and was not interesting or fun. I wish I hadn't paid so much money for it as I assumed that at €40, I would be getting a good experience.
A great way to explore Antwerpen but also to spend a day with a friend, having fun and laughter at the same time as being busy visiting beautifull spots you would never know about. Qua has done a great job in letting People know about history of the city and even have a little competition
It was a very nice treasure hunt through the center of Antwerp. You will not only pass the tourist places, but certainly beautiful places that you would not know alone as a tourist and therefore would not visit. The nice thing about the qula quest is that it is not time-bound, so you can take a break when you feel like it and visit a nice terrace.
Every year I organize an event together with our children for Father's Day. This is always a surprise for my husband. This year I wanted to do something that was also possible with our granddaughter in the buggy. We had a fantastic day. On our own speed with occasional stops for drinks, ice cream, .... Despite the fact that the children went to school in Antwerp, we saw many places where we had not been before and in the meantime we learned a lot :-) Definitely do it!
Very nice family activity to see the hidden gems. Would recommend to anyone wanting to see the wonderful city of Antwerp
My phone was acting up and died before we were able to figure out where the trip should start, so didn’t really get to use this scavenger hunt. Still giving it four stars because it seemed nice.
We (my brother and I) completed the walk and were left not totally disapppointed but decidedly unimpressed. The walk did touch upon the majority of the key spots in and around the Antwerp city center, but the texts were uninspired - missing both anything unique or special - and the riddles and their answers were not really enlightening, and did not add anything to understanding or appreciating the city. Overall, we left with the feeling that using a different tour would have been better.
If you have only a few hours to see a city, this is an excellent way to do it. It gives you a route and hits the highlights. You can follow it as much or as little as you want. It was enough to keep my 16 year old daughter engaged.
Very fun way to walk around and discover a city! Would rater do it on a sunday if you want it to be less bizzy in the center of Antwerp but a lot of fun and nice/easy assigments!
Nice concept, I did it with two of my sons (17 & 10) and they enjoyed. I also appreciated the easy to reach customer service via WhatsApp when I realized that I bought the wrong version of the game. I believe this game would be even more challenging if played in another city than the one you live in. Foresee a battery pack for your smartphone as the game is draining your battery.
We had a great day. We chose our own city to try and learn the kids more about their own history. It was fun and educational at the same time. Definite must do!
Nice tour! Good questions and not too difficult. We learnt great things! Recommend to do this on a sunny day.
What i liked the most about the game, is that we visit all the nice streets, also the tiny ones. Wich you could not have found without the game. And that you learn things about the city i would not have read about. I really recommend you to do this game.
Together with my granddaughter, 12 years, stayed 3 nights in guesthouse Leman. The welcome was very cordial which immediately gives a good feeling. Sander is rightly proud of the B&B, the room looks beautiful, you can even use the roof terrace. Breakfast inside and outside used, was delicious. We got tips from Sander also in terms of nice restaurants. The tram stops around the corner, but we went everywhere on foot, so you can discover even more beautiful places. Highly recommended.
Was a fun way to explore the city at your own pace. Even though some of Antwerp, new places were discovered.
It was a very nice trip. You have to dress up the game yourself, but that depends mainly on the group. It is important to read up on how everything works beforehand. We had some startup problems at first, but once we understood the system, it worked well and was a lot of fun.
Had a wonderful day. We have already done several qula trails and always pleasantly surprised by the easy and fun way to explore the city at your own pace and make sure you see several beautiful places, including less touristy hidden gems that you would otherwise look at. Today was no different, we got to see beautiful places and could deviate from our path wherever we wanted.
Nice to discover a city in a different way of course we also had a beautiful day because of the nice weather. Definitely recommended.
Every year we organize a day out for our members with our Staff Association. We always combine this with a city game. We have already visited many places but this year we went across the border to Antwerp. We enjoyed it again and I think this trip is really one of the most beautiful. Our Belgian colleagues who regularly visit Antwerp have been to places they have never seen before. Through this game you will get to the most beautiful places of the city, alleys, squares and sights that you would otherwise pass by. And then you also learn a lot about the city through the questions. The game element makes it even more fun. Now let's think about which city we're going to visit next year?
Entertaining, informative, versatile and moving - 9965 steps😎. Also recommended is the escalator and the pedestrian/bike tunnel under the river - historic and unique!
The scavenger hunt took us past many interesting places. The puzzles were funny, also that we had to get help from the locals to solve the puzzles. We had no problems with the technique and could find every point. We really liked the scavenger hunt.
It was a great outing, something totally different from what we usually do. I definitely recommend it to give it a try. Can be for everyone
Very nice tour through the center of Antwerp with nice questions, our favorite 't hofke'. Works fine via phone, via browser.
Nice way to explore Antwerp and very easy because you can do it on your own time if you stay somewhere longer that is no problem. Great price
First time out with Qula , it was a fun and interesting walk , I have been coming to Antwerp for years and can say that through the game I got to know some streets / places that I have never visited before . Thanks for the nice trail.
We did this walk in Antwerp, where we have been many times. Yet we have discovered a lot of new places. The game is nicely conceived and the questions are not too difficult. The disadvantage was that we did the walk on a Sunday in March and then some places such as the Stadsfeestzaal and some churches are not open. Afterwards we had a good dinner in the city, so had a pleasant afternoon.
Somewhat impulsively booked. Hometown. It could be a little more challenging. We try a strange unknown city sometimes. Now it was very predictable. Bit boring. More action could have been allowed.
It was really nice to do the tour at our own pace. We've seen a lot and received information. Lovely to explore the city in such a relaxed way.
Is a very nice way to get to know Antwerp better. This way you get to places where your mss itself would not go since Antwerp is quite a big city. Mss keep the game up to date because there were a few places that were not the same anymore eg a picture of a window where there was another window and because of working in the neighborhood you did not see certain things. But all in all had a very nice trip.
Fun questions and assignments. A street plan with the locations to visit would have been useful. Access to some buildings eg Rubenshuis would have been nice.
Getting to know Antwerp in a different way. Nice streets and squares where you never go otherwise. Learned a lot about the history of the city. Recommended for anyone who loves quizzes and walking.
Super fun activity to do! Some questions can take some thinking, but the questions against time and DIY questions are definitely fun!
Super fun trip with educational facts. We thought we knew Antwerp, but went to places we had never been before. For us this was the ideal family trip we could do at our own pace. Our granddaughter in her buggy also enjoyed it to the fullest. Definitely do it!
Fun tour, interactive and full of interesting facts about Antwerp about places that are not immediately obvious
Super fun treasure hunt. Super fun to look at the city in a different way and get to know the background of the city. Discovered many places that we would not otherwise visit. Nice questions, nice background information! Definitely recommended.
We couldn't find a spot because we were working (on the Scheldt) so we didn't get the finishing touches to the search. At the Friday market, the photos are not really up to date... we had to guess between 2 photos... but otherwise we had a fantastic walk and discovered new places...
Using the app, a city walk becomes a real quest. Not too difficult and pleasant... you will visit places you have never been before! Highly recommended with kids…
We found the QULA tour in Antwerp very educational and fun! It's a good way to get to know the city and get to places you wouldn't normally get to as a tourist. The questions teach you informative facts about the city. The way the questions are asked is clear and easy to follow. GPS worked well for us and we were able to achieve a good time. The competition made it extra fun for us to participate. Definitely recommended to try in Antwerp!
It was a super fun trail. We saw many places that we didn't know existed... Too bad we have to pay for the same city over and over again. I had already done this trail once, so now with family, but it's a pity that I had to buy it again. And now we weren't able to walk it all the way due to lack of time, so it's a shame that we can't do the rest on another day.
In itself a nice trip, nice informative texts and saw the real hotspots of Antwerp. But a shame about the outdated questions and website. Some assignments no longer corresponded to reality, causing discussion about the correct answer. It is also not entirely true that you have to start at A. You can literally start anywhere. In addition, it would also be nice if the map worked online and that you had to follow a route. This way you would pass nice places that are somewhat forgotten or unknown. You might discover even more secrets of the city.
The city trail was great, saw many sights and the explanation was interesting. The accompanying question was always educational.
We do this game because we enjoy seeing a city and we really like games. Mission accomplished. The Qula route takes you to places in the city that you might otherwise miss and the questions ensure that you get nice information about Antwerp and its history. If you have to look for something, you look carefully and you see much more than when you just walk through the city. You can determine your own route and pace and that is very enjoyable. Could the route be a little more challenging for people who already know the city a bit? If you have any questions, you can contact Qula, they will help you very quickly and in a friendly manner. We will definitely go to another city again!
A very nice outing that allowed us to get to know Antwerp, a city that we actually already knew well (we thought) in a completely different way. The questions were fun, informative and accessible to everyone. The only tip is that it would have been nice if more information was available about certain places for those who wanted.
Nice way to discover beautiful places in the city. In the short term I saw a lot in hidden places that I certainly did not expect.
I think this is the 15 city trail we did. And it remains a super fun way to discover the city. You go to places you would normally never go. Highly recommended if you want to get to know a city!!!!
We had a nice day, the questions were not too difficult and could certainly be solved after some research. All information was clear and we also did the demo, which helps. 👍👍👍
Nice tour, informative and easy to do considering the distance. Unfortunately, there was a lot of construction going on. Too bad we didn't visit the Diamantbuurt and the station.
Nice place with beautiful sights. You get to places you wouldn't normally get to otherwise. Plenty of terraces with tasty drinks along the way.
Nice tour with questions that allowed us to discover new places... in Antwerp. Very fun to do with friends👍
