Itinerary
We start in pub “The Royal Moustache”, home of the moustache club and a lot of excellent beers.
A real Scottish pub on one of the most beautiful squares in Antwerp. A very rich history and an even richer beer menu…
Just outside the busy tourist centre. A place where you can relax and refill your energy. With beer of course…
An authentic folk café in the heart of Antwerp. Here we drink a very exclusive beer with a somewhat naughty history…
In the heart of the historic centre, we end our BeerWalk. The Majestic café the ‘Red Hat’ is the oldest pub in Antwerp. So a lot to tell and luckily also something to taste…

Fun activity for those who have both passion for beer, or would like to know more or beer. The beer palette you taste is extensive. Interesting historical beer stories are also included. The cafes are all unique places that can be cherished. Belgians can be proud of their beer culture, this Beerwalk confirms that once again!
Super cozy experience. Thanks to guide Patrick.
Super nice walk, lots of information and a lot of cozy beers!
Very nice beerwalk with also history about Antwerp that Leo Plasmans talked together with fun facts. Definitely recommended.
Even as Antwerpers we discovered a new pub and heard new stories! Top, highly recommended! Do lay a bottom before starting or you may not make it to the end!
Beautiful walk through the city center with very interesting details about Antwerp and beer. And of course super nice beer to taste. Our guide Franky was very friendly and really knew how to tell everything - great!
It's been great. With jo it was an unforgettable experience. A lot to tell, even if we wanted more information on certain topics. Perfect activity for a group of friends in Antwerp.
Great explanation with lots of facts and facts. There was room to make adjustments because the composition of the group called for it. Even when we arrived a little late due to traffic jam on the ring, an adjustment was made so we hadn't missed anything! Great!
We were accompanied by a great guide. His knowledge of both beer and the city was impressive. He had an effortless answer to every question. The atmosphere was good and the beers were delicious. The combination of walking, tasting and listening made it a perfect afternoon!
Had a super fun tour through Antwerp with all kinds of information about the brewing history of Antwerp. Jo was our guide and he really did a fantastic job. A group with 13 mouthy and smart men, but Jo went along with it, fantastic!
Nice company, good beer, but our guide couldn't tell us enough about it and the beautiful city was certainly not talked about at all or hardly. We expected more of it.
Pleasant and educational walk with useful information and facts about Antwerp and its beer culture. Experienced guide with a sense of humor who knows how to involve all participants during the walk. Appropriate walking distance and good choice of pubs and beers visited. Aa
Ariel is a very nice guide! He knows a lot! You go to a lot of places you wouldn't go otherwise. The cafes you come to are very cozy and cozy.
We were with a large group of 24 men on bachelor weekend. This bearwalk what a lot of fun to do. Our guide knew a lot about the beer history of Antwerp and of course he also knew how to draught delicious beers. Recommended!
Experienced Guide who has a lot of knowledge of beers and also the city of Antwerp. Recommended to get to know the city in an informal way
Fantastic Guide! Ariel Meeusen gave lns a passionate and incredibly interesting tour with an ideal alternation between beer, history, and culture. On top of that, we as a group also enjoyed the cozy atmosphere he carries!
Our guide Pat had great stories about the history of Antwerp related to beer. Most of the pubs were cozy and fun and we were able to enjoy a nice range of beers.
We enjoyed the tour of Antwerp by Ariel! He talks enthusiastically about the history of Antwerp and beer! You go to places/bars where you normally wouldn't go.
Pleasant guide (Jo Abbeloos), saw nice places in Antwerp and value for money. More than 3.5 hours of activity with a visit to 5 cafes to taste a beer.
Patrick Moens earns too little He did very well. Relaxed tour, good explanation and so on I am now also going to book a tour in Gendt after Bruges and Antwerp with Patrick Moens as guide
A day trip to Antwerp with friends and the Beerwalk was on the program. After we had settled down prematurely on the terrace of Dr. Beer (also with an excellent beer list!), the Beer Walk started as planned. With guide Patrick and equally enthusiastic aspiring guide Jo, we were introduced to the beer brewing process and the city of Antwerp. The alternation between on the one hand a look into the history of the city of Antwerp and on the other hand tasting a specialty beer in time in one of the cozy establishments that were part of the tour made this tour highly recommended! It was an afternoon-filling program where we lingered for a long time in the last establishment! Conviviality knows no time 😀
The walk was super interesting! . We learned a lot and the guide very skilful and pleasant.
Had JP as a guide! Great stories about beer, historical Antwerp and contemporary facts around Belgium. Tasted nice beers with good explanation from JP. This bearwalk is highly recommended! The crate not empty is a day not lived!
Nice guide, nice beers on the way. Guide was very knowledgeable and fun along. Took all the time, also the history of Antwerp was covered. Definitely recommended!!
Nice Bearwalk done during our friends weekend. The guide had a lot of knowledge about both beer and the city of Antwerp and its history and was able to tell very interesting stories about it.
It was a nice and pleasant walk again. Clear explanation of everything that was drunk and what we saw. Were already often in Antwerp but still many surprises. A big THANK YOU to our guide Patrick for everything.
Excellent guide, with an explanation of Antwerp (beer) history. The types of beer in the tasting could have been a bit more challenging.
Very nice bear walk with lots of information! Frankie was a top guide. Seen a lot of the city and drank nice beers
With a group of friends we did the Beer walk. Tasted delicious beers and meanwhile got to know the city center of Antwerp with the help of the enthusiastic guide, who really is a walking encyclopedia. Definitely recommended!
Frankie was a fantastic guide. Enthusiastic and beautiful stories about the beer history of Antwerp. And really delicious beers tasted
The guide had a lot to say and that was a lot of fun. The best part was that he knew so much and he really got you involved.
The two of them joined a group of eight and four. Our guide Pet is a running encyclopedia and that made it very entertaining and we also enjoyed several beers. The beerwalk is a must do.
This time we were in a group of +/- 15 people (last time only with us 2). It was a very different experience but again very nice, interesting and tasty... for the second time Ariel was our guide, with as much passion as in Kortrijk last year. Again the weather was a bit disappointing but we enjoyed it to the fullest!!!
With a nice gang of colleagues went down here for the bearwalk . Went to places in Antwerp where you normally do not go, also the necessary info from the guide was very interesting. Visited nice pubs and tasted nice beers. It was very successful and worthwhile.
