Fantastic rooms. Staff friendly. Good breakfast. Great location. Only negative was that people cleaning rooms, did not do a great job. They did very basic things.

1. We arrived, the ventilation system in the room was making so much noise, we then had to pack our things and move to another room. We move to a new room and the ventilation system is making just as much noise that we had to sleep with it off despite the room feeling like a sauna. 2. When we arrived we also complained about the fact that 2 years ago when we stayed here they never gave our deposit back. They tell you they will refund your deposit but they never do! 3. Our room had NO WiFi! We struggled with signal and we kept having to leave our room for WiFi . 4. Multiple plug points in the room weren't working either. I think there's much better hotels for the same price in Antwerp.
This is a well located hotel with in easy walking or lime scooter ride away from many of the city’s attractions, close to the station and the diamond mile! Decor inside was lovely in the main areas, our room was perfectly adequate but a little dated. For a 4 star hotel I would have excepted not to pay for extra coffee pods in the room after the first two pods! £2 / pod is a lot for hotel room, never come across a charge for a basic coffee, bear this in mind if you stay multiple days. The room only has paper coffee cups which i would have expected china for a 4 star hotel. A bottle of water was €6, a 4 star hotel usually includes at least a bottle of water per person. The gym and pool had an extra charge for each visit, which wasn’t clear on booking.com. Gym equipment was poorly maintained, the benches were ripped, with one cable machine, 3 joggers, could have made better use of the space which was good! The pool was cool but welcome, no staff present, the sauna and steam room were not working, the shower rooms the light kept going out whilst having a shower which was odd and a little dangerous! Parking was €27 per night.
Absolutely loved our stay here, everything 100%. Before arrival, we'd emailed asking for early check-in. Diego replied and we were accommodated - thank you. The 2 ladies on Reception who we encountered during our stay were friendly. Check-in / Check-out was quick and painless. The room was much bigger than expected. The hotel is not new; there are signs of this, but given the price, the hotel exceeded our expectations. There was no hot water one evening but we got over it - They did send maintenance to the room promptly but it wasn't a localised issue - I suspect the demand for hot water superseded the supply of the boiler. I did ask that a manager call the room which did not happen, but not the end of the world. We didn't have time to use the pool but we met another couple in the lift and they said it was nice. We'd happily recommend this hotel if staying in Antwep.
Had a great short stay. Comfortable rooms, helpful and polite staff, and a perfect location if you aim to be around the Central Station. The rooms were clean, well equipped, but I would've hoped that a 4 star hotel has an iron in each room. The wifi signal was really bad in the room. So if you need to wrok extensively while staying, I'd personally not recommend it. At first I thought its a hotel problem, but this seems to be an issue everywhere in Belgium/Antwerp (for finnish internet standards/expectations). I really liked that although in the central part of the city the hotel was very quiet and you could get a good night's sleep. Cleaning was done perfectly, the rooms smelled fresh, and the bed was comfortable.
