Perfect way to see the not resort Antigua. ATV s ride smoothly on the bad pavement and dirt roads. 80% of the drive was on some sort of pavement. Speed averaged about 35kph. 50 kph on pavement the dirt part was hard packed. The guide was very cautious and accommodating. I think we toured about 3/4 of the whole island. Everyone received helmet and goggles for the trip. I am 74 years old, did this on 11.04.2026 no issues recommended

Our tour guide Kelli was wonderful! She took us through some beautiful countryside of Antiqua! We saw farm land, beautiful mountains and hillsides. She also took us to an old Sugar Mill Plantation which is now a historic area and has a museum to see as well for a minimal cash payment! She also took us to The Devil's Bridge and Long Bay Beach! We rode on paved roads and dirt roads! The dirt roads are dusty and have some mud holes in them! It helps to have had some prior riding experience but the riding would not be difficult for an amateur or beginner! Kelli gave us some history of the places we saw and stopped to take in! She gives you plenty of time to take pictures and or videos! They do provide helmets but it would be beneficial to bring a dust mask or a bandana when riding on the dirt roads/trails! Sunglasses or even riding goggles are a must have item to bring and even a pair of riding or work gloves would be good to bring also just to help out with comfort when riding! Also, if you can bring some bottled water along with you as it does get very hot! Kelli is such a nice and compassionate person! She really enjoys what she does and she looks forward to taking people on the tours! It is approximately a 3 hour round trip tour! My wife and I would definitely recommend this excursion to anyone coming to Antigua! Thank you again Kelli for a wonderful adventure!
Booked this ATV tour for a cruise port day and couldn't have asked for better. Kelly delivered exactly what we wanted: an adrenaline-fueled ride off the beaten path combined with genuine local insights. The highlights were hitting those rugged farmland trails and landing at Long Bay Beach for an ocean break—the route felt purposefully designed rather than a generic loop. Kelly kept the pace energetic while maintaining safety throughout, and you could tell she knows every inch of Antigua. Logistics were flawless. Port pickup was seamless (met us at Zone 7 as promised), and the return drop-off ran on time. ATVs were well-maintained and ready to go. The whole operation felt professional without being stiff. If you're doing a cruise stop in Antigua and want to maximize your time, put this at the top of your list. Book it directly if you can—beats the shore excursion lineup by a mile.
I’ll be honest—I was initially irritated that we didn’t start on time because the majority of the group was late. 😩 But once the experience got started, it completely made up for it! This is hands down my favorite ATV ride I’ve ever done. And as someone who does an ATV tour in pretty much every country I visit, that says A LOT! 🏍️🔥 Antigua definitely delivered an unforgettable experience! 🇦🇬❤️
Kelli, the Tour Guide was awesome! She made the experience fun while keeping it safe.
The ride is about 2 hours. A combination of road and trail riding. It can get bumpy but enjoyable. Fun
Amazing views, great time, wonderful guides, loved it!! Wear goggles and a face shield due to dust and dirt. Great time!! A must do in Antigua.
Nice long, informative tour. Plenty of time on the ATV. Overall a great experience. Suggestions: If you book through TripAdvisor the details are not there. Recommend visiting the vendor's specific website. There you will find that a valid drivers license is required. Dust masks are also recommended, but we felt protective eyewear would be more helpful. (We did visit during the dry season, but the gravel trails inevitably blow dust in your eyes.) It's also better to arrange your own taxi/transportation beforehand as it's much more cost efficient. Pickup and drop-off is not included.
This experience was amazing. The tour guide was great and very informative. You should definitely use this service if in Antigua, highly recommended.
I had a great time on this excursion. Having a female guide is always a plus! Kelly took us through a good mix of tarmac roads so we could see villages as well as off-roading so we could have the real ATV experience. A fun stop at Devil’s Bridge and she is great at explaining the history of the island. She also makes a great photographer!
This tour was the highlight of our trip. From beginning to end Kelly was nothing short of amazing. She made us feel extremely comfortable and made every moment memorable. She knows her stuff as well as the island. Very knowledgeable and you can tell she loves what she does. I would highly recommend this tour with Kelly to everyone looking to explore Antigua. She’s the greatest and we WILL be back again for another tour.
Tour Guide was on time and welcoming. Outstanding ride through the island and we stopped at a beautiful beach. Would recommend 100%.
Buyer beware. I was charged twice for a single ride and I am still fighting for a refund 3 months later. On top of that my ride was cut short by 30 minutes. No goggles supplied so bring glasses. Better yet find another company to ride with.
We had an amazing ATV tour around the island and honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The guides took us around to all the most important and beautiful spots on the island, including a bridge with incredible views and a gorgeous beach where we had time to get into the water and relax for a bit. What made the experience even better was how knowledgeable and welcoming they were. Throughout the tour, they shared interesting information about the island, its history, and local culture, which made everything much more meaningful and enjoyable. They truly went above and beyond for us. At the end of the tour, they even offered us a ride to another beach we wanted to visit, and later came back to pick us up as well. They also gave us great local recommendations, told us where to find the best fruits in town, and even helped us get to the market and buy everything we wanted. The whole experience felt personal, fun, and very well organized. You can tell they genuinely care about making sure everyone has the best time possible. Highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting the island!
Had an amazing time! The experience was the perfect mix of fun and excitement, and the views along the way were incredible. Kelly was an incredible tour guide, so friendly and welcoming from the start. She made sure everyone felt safe while still keeping the experience fun and exciting. You can really tell she loves what she does, and that energy made the whole tour even more enjoyable. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone looking for a little adventure while visiting, definitely the highlight of our trip!
If you’re ever docking in Antigua on a cruise, do yourself a favor and put Shared Dirty Trails and Escapades ATV Excursions at the top of your to-do list. This was hands down one of the most unforgettable experiences my family and I had during our 8-day cruise. From start to finish, everything was seamless, exciting, and packed with adventure. Riding through Antigua’s rugged trails and stunning scenery was an absolute thrill—but what truly made the experience exceptional was our guide, Kelley. Kelley was phenomenal. Not only did she make sure we were safe and having a great time, but she also shared so much knowledge about the island—its history, culture, and hidden gems. You could tell she genuinely loves what she does, and that energy made the whole experience even more special. She wasn’t just a guide, she was an incredible host who made us feel welcome and connected to Antigua in a meaningful way
This tour was amazing!!! We had a blast on the ATV’s and Kelly, our guide, was so much fun! She was knowledgeable, personable, and made sure we had a great tour! We really got to see the beauty of Antigua! We went though the countryside, through neighborhoods, to a beautiful beach, and devil’s bridge and I really felt like I got to see the island of Antigua! It was amazing and we will definitely be back! We felt safe on the ATV’s and got to go pretty fast! It was a blast!
It was a lot of fun! The web site was a little confusing so didn’t have transportation from the cruise port, but we got a call before docking asking if we needed rides. Thank you for that. We also didn’t realize there would be a beach stop at the end so we didn’t have swim wear, but we waded in, and then got delicious pina coladas. The guide, Kelly, was great , kept us all together and moving. Antigua is a beautiful island and I felt like we got to see a lot.
Wear goggles, come with an open mind and prepare for an exhilarating experience. I was nervous initially, but that soon went away.
This was easily the highlight of our trip. The ATVs were easy to handle and the route was beautiful. The staff was professional and very welcoming. If you’re looking for a bit of adrenaline and some great views, I highly recommend booking this tour. Don't forget your sunscreen and a camera!
Kelly and Akeen were professional, knowledgeable, personable & so much fun. Definitely a fun way to see different parts of the island.
The team (Kelly and Akeem) really cares about their customers. Akeem directs you safely through all paths. Very kind and joyful. Much love DeMian and Corinna
Excellent experience ❤️ We loved every minute of it. Kelly was great getting us from the dock and our tour guide Akeem was wonderful. A great way to explore the island!!
Excellent experience with Kelly making it fun and enjoyable. Would happily do again and would also highly recommend to others.
Wonderful tour! Quad was in perfect condition!!! Our tour guide Akeme was a lot of fun, safe and took great care of us! He stopped at many sights to make sure we saw the Island and was very knowledgeable on the history of the Island. Well worth taking this activity. Best way to see the island, learn its history and see beautiful sights you can’t see on a bus!!!
This ATV experience is more of an adventure. You explore most of the island from the local city, suburbs, banana fields, hills and forests before finally stopping at Devils Bridge. It was like 80% roads and 20% off roads. The group rode in a single file line and in the morning it was pleasant but in the afternoon there was traffic and the locals were trying to get by so you had to go fast or let them pass. We probably went around 20-30 mph. Bring glasses, face shield, and credit card for deposit. They do sell them if you forget. The tour provider is great and the staff are really friendly. Would highly recommend this as a way to explore Antigua and see a lot of the island and a few historical places.
Excellent. Excellent. Excellent. Excellent. Delvin and the rest of the crew were absolutely amazing.
Brilliant host brilliant day from start to finish would definitely do again through this company ten out of ten lovely views at the stop points
Deven and Kelly were exceptional, it was an afternoon that me and my Mrs booked and it was just the 2 of us. I gave off road bikes and quads back home and still thoroughly enjoyed this. Would definitely recommend. Only thing I would add is, that if you have a face covering or goggles take them with you as these are an extra charge when there to use.
ATV tour was great! Davonte was awesome and moved at a pace that worked for us. Even though our date should not have been available due to the observed Antiguan Independence Day, our trip was not canceled and the crew was still welcoming and friendly. The ATVs are in great condition. The tour itself allows you to see incredible views of the island and visit sights off the beaten path as well as popular tourist attractions like the breath taking Devil’s Bridge and the beautiful white sand shore of Long Beach. While at Long Beach make sure to get some Antiguan grown black pineapple and fresh coconut water.
The ATV rides was an amazing experience. Customer Service was great, overall we had a great time. Definitely would return and recommend to anyone!
I had a great tour. I was the only person on the tour since it was slow season. The guide was great, and he got some great pictures of me as well. Definitely recommend and would do the tour again if I come back to Antigua!
Such a great trip!! We had great tour guides, beautiful scenery, absolutely amazing will do again for sure
The ATV ride was an amazing experience from start to finish! The guides were professional, friendly, and made sure everyone felt safe while still having a thrilling adventure. The trail was well-planned with a perfect mix of scenic views, exciting turns, and fun terrain that kept the ride exciting the whole way. The ATVs were in excellent condition and easy to handle, even for beginners. Riding through the rugged paths and open trails was both exhilarating and refreshing. It’s definitely an adventure I would recommend to anyone looking for excitement, fun, and unforgettable memories. A must-try experience!
The team at Shared Dirty Trails provided an outstanding experience! From the moment we arrived, they were incredibly friendly and attentive, ensuring we had everything we needed to make the most of our adventure. They took the time to explain the ATV and highlight must-see spots around the island. The ride itself was not only thrilling but also offered breathtaking views, making it well worth the price. We really got the chance to explore diverse terrains and hidden gems. I wholeheartedly recommend booking with them if you're looking for a fun and memorable outing!
In my opinion this is the best way to explore Antigua. Can’t recommend this enough! If you’re hesitant on booking, count this as your personal recommendation.
The tour guide was knowledgeable of the area. He was kind and patient. If you fell behind he would slow the group down so you could catch up. This excursion was a mix of public roads and forested rugged road. This is not for the inexperienced. You need to know what you are doing because the roads in some places are rough and when on public roads you need to keep up with the pace of traffic. Fun but risky. Another thing, you need stamina to complete the course. For those who live for adventure the 2 1/2 hours is nothing but for those who are somewhere in between adventure and calmness, this experience, while great, can be exhausting. All in all, this is a worthwhile memorable experience which I would recommend to anyone seeking a thrill.
Such a fun time riding on the ATV’s! My family and I had a fun ride driving on the main and back roads! Definitely would ride again!
Was an AMAZING experience! They are so thorough with the booking and call the make sure we had the same information. They offer taxi to their office for additional charge but it would be the same price as any other taxi on the island. The instructor was super nice and friendly and made sure we had a good time. He was very informative on our tour and slowed down when we wanted to take pics of some of the scenary and animals. Even our taxi driver Devon was fun. He was very personable and always smiling the whole car ride. Even got us some sugar cane from some local folks. DEFINITELY recommend doing this! The ATVs were also super fun driving around in on many different roads between the city, to country, to trails. LOVED IT! If we are ever in Antigua again, we would do it again!! You will be so happy you did. Once in a lifetime trip that you will remember forever!
The adventure was the most exciting tour we ever had! They took us off roading and through the rain forest and up the mountain side. We even stopped and had local cuisine. I highly recommend this company.
The tour was great. Seeing the island this way is a must. Our guides were knowledgeable and courteous. We even stopped at a stand and got some jerk chicken/pork, regional soup and coconut water. All delicious. The ATV’s were well maintained and the entire process was smooth.
My experience was amazing!! Book with them you won’t regret it. Tour guide was very friendly and took us on routes with a lot to see. Definitely fun!
