The Devil’s Bridge is a remarkable example of sea-water erosion. Geological, Devil's Bridge is a natural arch carved by the sea from soft and hard limestone ledges of the Antigua formation, a geological division of the flat north-eastern part of Antigua.
The Blockhouse is a brick ruin located high above English Harbour in Nelson's Dockyard National Park, overlooking the southeastern coast of Antigua. Constructed in the 18th century, it offers unobstructed views of Antigua's coastline.
At the most southerly tip of Antigua, The Lookout, part of the Shirley Heights Lookout military complex, commands a breathtaking view over the whole of English Harbour. Shirley Heights dates back to the 17th century. This historical site is said to have been built by the British military who were in control of Antigua at the time. A great photo opportunity!!
Nelson’s Dockyard is the largest of Antigua’s National Parks and is still used today as a working dockyard for numerous yachts and ships. Fully restored to its original splendor, the eighteenth- and nineteenth-century buildings of the Dockyard house modern amenities such as shops, hotels, and marina businesses.
Fig Tree Drive runs through a green area of Antigua, past rainforests and massive banana trees (locals like to call figs). Roadside vendors sell local fruits , so don't pass by without asking them for some mango or black pineapple. Along the way you will pass by the ziplines and yes , look for a few beaches at end of it!!
Darkwood Beach offers some of the most iridescent seas and white beaches on the island, set on a backdrop of hilltops and tropical forestry; the views are both panoramic and spectacular also on a clear day, you can see Montserrat. Being one of the longest stretches of beach there is ample space to take it all in and with warm, alluring sea lapping up on pristine sands, there is plenty of reasons to visit!
We were set to leave on our tour at 9:30am - I happened to check my email before we went to meet our pick up and found that I had an email from earlier that morning that they had canceled our private tour with no explantation!!! So disappointing!!! I haven't had this happen before with Viator - I would be sure to confirm!!

Carl (aka Junie) picked us up at PBC. There was only one other couple from England with us. He had water for us and we had a very nice lunch at Shirley Heights ( included). We went to 2 beaches( loved Darkwood) and he stopped at various picturesque areas. Carl was a very friendly and knowledgeable host. Ask for Carl when you book this tour.
Leo was awesome!! He shared so much information about Antigua. He gave us the option of the beach or learning more about Antigua’s history. The history lessor was great. Lunch at Shirley’s Heights was delicious
My wife and I had Junie as our tour guide for the day. He was excellent, personable and very knowledgeable. We learned so much history of the beautiful island of Antigua. He made several stops along the way. He even went out of his way to get us to try some coconut water and mangos. We felt very well taken care of and thoroughly enjoyed our day. We would highly recommend taking this tour and hope that you get Junie as your tour guide.

Our party was only 6 people and the transport was very comfortable especially the AC. Our guide was very friendly and helpful, with great local knowledge. We always felt in good hands. Our only criticism would be the beach we ended up on, we felt it should have had better facilities.

As my first time out of the U.S. this was a wonderful experience. It was very eye opening for me and I greatly appreciated the history of Antigua. Leo, our amazing and wonderful tour guide, kept us informed of everything around us and answered all our questions remarkably. Leo is also an amazing person to have conversations with about other topics as well, I wish him nothing but the best in life! I highly recommend sun glasses for Devils Bridge, don’t leave them in the vehicle! The views from above looking down on the island were my favorite and doing a little trail explore too for some good photos.

We had an excursion around Antigua on Thursday 24 September 2026. Our tour guide was Leo. We had expected to be in a group of 6-8 people but, when collected at our hotel, we found that it was just me and my wife who would be touring the island with Leo. The tourist was interesting and lasted 6 hours which I thought was just about right. Leo was fun, helpful and very knowledgeable about the local area but given that he has lived in Antigua for 99.9% of his life, I guess that's no big surprise. However, his wider knowledge was also very impressive. There was no subject raised that he wasn't able to discuss at length. The lunch included was good - not exceptional but what we would have expected on this type of excursion. The only slight negative was that we had forgotten to take water with us although we.had.thought that the trip included water. Given the high temperatures in Anyigua that we were experiencing, my wife eventually asked for some. It turned out that Leo had plenty of very cold bottled water but just hadn't offered it. I would certainly recommend this trip and would definitely recommend Leo.
A great way to hit the high points of the island, with plenty of insight from our guide Leo as well! Leo makes the trip a lot of fun, and customizes it to his guests....we wanted to stop at the beach but weren't planning on actually swimming, so he shortened that part of the trip and lengthened other aspects. Lunch was delicious, with the most gorgeous view from Shirley Heights! Definitely recommended!

This tour is a great opportunity to have an overview of the island. All important sites are visited. We had the chance to be only the 3 of us with our lovely guide Jahaira and it felt like a private tour. She gave us a lot of interesting information about the island and lunch was very good. The tour took us to many of the historical and interesting points on Antigua. Our drive Juni was very courteous and knowledgeable. He drove us safely around and made adjustments to the schedule to accommodate us and the weather.

Great trip for those who want to know a bit more about Antiqua. Our guide, Carl, was very knowledgable, friendly and funny. We had a super time with him that day and learnt a lot and visited many places. We stopped for a lunch at a local restaurant where food was delicious. I strongly recommend this company and, especially, Carl.
