Johnny was an amazing guide, not only narrating as we went around the city, but jumping into the ocean with us to show us the best places to snorkel! Highly, highly recommended.

Johnny is amazing and filled with so much knowledge about Antigua! He made us feel like we were simply hanging out with a friend. While snorkelling he pointed out so many things we wouldn’t have seen ourselves. It was our first ever snorkeling experience and it did not disappoint. We saw sea turtles, a stingray, many different fish, and the shipwrecks. You can tell he is very passionate about his job. We’d rate him 10 stars if we could. He even recorded videos of us and sent us them only a few hours later, including an informative documentary.

Johnny was great and super friendly! Had lots of knowledge, and made sure we got pictures too to remember our trip. We saw turtles, octopuses, and the shipwreck. It was my husband’s first time snorkeling and it was definitely one to remember! Highly recommend this excursion!

We visited Antigua for our honeymoon and booked with Johnny for our first day. What a great trip! He showed us around the dockyards and Shirley Heights while giving history and insight to the island - it was great to hear from a local. His diving expertise guided us to some turtles and octupi - even on a low visibility day. The beach we snorkeled from was absolutely stunning. He was on his way to pick a larger van at port to host even more guests this upcoming season - we know he’ll do great!

First, we started out with a trip to the historic Nelsons Dockyard, where Johnny explained some of the history of the site. We then did a walk through of the museum. It was cool to learn the history of the place before going! The snorkeling part was really neat. We got to swim past shipwrecks and anchors that are 100s of years old, and we did see a turtle!! Johnny has eyes of a hawk in the water, and was able to spot and point out many cool creatures. He’s also a very funny and cool guy, so we had a lot of fun chatting with him! We had a great time and would definitely recommend!

Awesome experience. It was a private tour so it was just the two of us versus a group. The guide was very knowledgeable about the history of the sites we visited. He knew the exact location to go snorkeling to find sea turtles, and was exceptionally priced.

Johnny was an incredible guide! He is extremely knowledgeable about the island and all the sites and wildlife you see on the tour. He was very professional, personable, and kind. My cousin and I felt safe the whole time during our tour. We enjoyed touring Nelson’s Dockyard and Shirley’s Heights and learning about the history! We got to see several turtles while snorkeling, along with lots of tropical fish. Snorkeling by the shipwreck was really neat. Johnny took several videos during our snorkeling and sent them to us right away. I would absolutely recommend this tour and am already looking forward to returning to Antigua and hopefully booking another tour with Johnny!

Our tour with Johnny was one of the highlights of our trip! He made it easy to see several highlights of Antigua at once. We particularly enjoyed the snorkeling since we were able to easily see several sea turtles, lobsters, and an eagle ray. We felt safe while in the water with Johnny and didn't find the swimming strenuous at all given the bay is protected and the water was very calm during our visit. Huge thanks to Johnny for the GoPro footage captured in the water!

We had a fantastic experience on the historical tour of Antigua and the snorkeling excursion at English Bay. Johnny was an excellent guide who was knowledgeable, engaging, and genuinely passionate about sharing Antigua’s history, culture, and modern-day lifestyle. His enthusiasm made the tour both educational and enjoyable. The snorkeling was a perfect complement to the tour, with beautiful clear water, colorful fish, and stunning scenery. The entire excursion was well organized and offered a great balance of learning and relaxation. I highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Antigua who wants to experience the island’s rich heritage and natural beauty.

Johnny was absolutely PHENOMENAL!!! He’s sooo knowledgeable and gives so you many cool history stories about the island the entire time. He truly made snorkeling sooo easy and I felt like I was a professional because of him. If you’re thinking about booking, don’t spend another minute considering. It’s the best excursion I’ve done. He’s truly amazing! (He also takes AMAZING pictures). I loved seeing the videos after our excursion too. I would 100% book with Johnny again!!!

Johnny is the bombshiz! Super knowledgeable, fast paced, attentive, quick responder, patient, friendly and knows all the hidden gems. Ask whatever questions you want and he’s got your answer! My daughter and I had a wonderful trip with Johnny. He was very knowledgeable about the history of the island; we saw Shirley Heights and Nelson’s Dockyard. The snorkelling was the highlight for us. We saw an eagle ray, sting rays, and turtles. Johnny gave us a wonderful tour. Safety is very important to him and we certainly appreciated his concern for us in and out of the water. I would recommend this tour for families.

Johnny, our tour guide was an eclectic mix of Middle Eastern, Antiguan and Canadian heritage was a great guide to Nelson's Dockyard and the other miscellaneous points of interest along the way. He communicated with me during the pickup, allowing for extra time to get to us since the resort was out of the way and accessed by a rough stretch of road that really tests a vehicle's tires and suspension. His private tour allowed him to focus exclusively on his guests and tailor his tour to the guests' interests. Not only does he care about the quality of his tour and presentation, he cares about the safety and well being of his guests. I unfortunately cut my foot on a piece of coral when entering the water and he strongly advised me not to continue the tour for my own safety. He immediately offered a partial refund of the tour price which I declined since it was my own fault that I cut my foot. He stayed with me while I made my way back to the van, supporting me the entire way. I can't wait to return and book the same tour again, this time taking more care when entering the water. He is trying to expand his business and I wish him all the best and much success in the future.

We had such a great time! Such an amazing experience and even got to see turtles despite the bad weather. They even managed to collect us from our hotel (hermitage bay) despite the road leading to the property being very bad. Other excursions refused to collect us, but this wasn’t an issue here! Can’t recommend enough!

We really enjoyed the trip with Johnny. From the moment he picked us up, we felt like we were in a safe and knowledgeable pair of hands. It was great to hear his insight and experience of living in Antigua whilst driving. At both stops Johnny gave an informative introduction and then we had some time to explore independently. The highlight however was the snorkelling stop where we saw two turtles and a stingray. Having Johnny film the snorkelling is a great addition!

We thoroughly enjoyed our tour with Johnny! Had a lovely time exploring Shirley Heights and Nelson‘s dockyard plenty of time to get the highlights of each place and then had plenty of time for an enjoyable snorkel tour at Galleon Beach. Johnny was a great guide and showed us some awesome stuff. Video on go pro is such an awesome souvenir to remember our fun trip. He also picked us up from our hotel— value was 10 out of 10. Wonderful memories!

My husband and I had an outstanding experience with Johnny Boutros! We were on a cruise and decided to book privately rather than face large crowds. Johnny was VERY prompt in contacting and keeping in touch with us prior to our excursion. He met us very close to the pier with his car and we proceeded immediately to our route, thus beating the crowds. Johnny is very knowledgeable about all things Antigua and shared much information with us throughout the tour. When it was time to snorkel, Johnny safely lead us to points of interest and sea life. We saw several turtles, an octopus, a ship wreck, as well as other sunken items. I would recommend this private experience over any large group tour! Thank you for an awesome day, Johnny!!!!

Johnny was phenomenal! He was very informative about island history and local culture. He is outgoing and friendly. We say stingrays, turtles, a shipwreck and anchor. He snapped photos for us. Well worth the $. Johnny drove over an hour just to pick me and my husband up for the tour. We started the tour at Nelsons Dockyard and Shirley Heights and then went to Galleon Beach to snorkel. Johnny recorded videos for us during snorkeling and emailed them back to us that evening (no additional cost). We saw shipwrecks, fish and a sea turtle! Johnny was very professional and personable. We would book this experience again!

Our time with Johnny was great! He was very personable, knowledgeable of island info, and a great tour guide. Once we got to our snorkeling location, he got right to it and got us in the water. We saw turtles, octopus’, corals, fish, even 2 wrecks! Plus he did a video for us and shared it with us at the end. Great experience and would do it again

Johnny was friendly and energetic, had a decent van and took us just to the essential highlights of the Dockyard, English Harbor and nice snorkel adventure with sea turtles. A perfect 1/2 day private tour for a great price.

Really enjoyed this trip with Johnny. Plenty of time to see Nelson’s dockyard and Shirley Heights followed by a great snorkelling experience: saw my first octopus and turtle. I’m a beginner in the water but with instructions and a float jacket I felt very safe and was able to enjoy the experience. Not my brightest moment, but I put my wet clothes on the car roof when I’d got changed at the beach and left them there! Johnny very kindly returned them to me the next day. Do note the advice around mobility, the way into the water is a bit uneven and tricky. If in doubt, check with Johnny first by message. Recommended.

The tour owner and operator, Johnny, did an excellent job ensuring we had a really enjoyable time during our excursion. He was friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. The tour allows for just enough time at each stop to enjoy it without feeling rushed or feeling like time is being wasted by spending too much time. Definitely a good tour for cruise ship guests or those with limited time. Definitely would recommend to others!

This tour is as good as all the reviews say. Johnny was really informative with excellent local knowledge. The tour was relaxed & culminated in a great snorkle. Despite the poor visibility on the day we went, Johnny still found us 2 turtles, a black ray,octopus & little fish. We would never have spotted them without him. Even my husband who is a nervous snorkler really enjoyed our trip. Johnny was reassuring, kind & patient. You are in safe hands with Johnny & we'd love to to another trip with him next time we visit Antigua.

We had so much fun on our trip. The tour was one of the highlights. Loved hanging out and driving around learning about the local area. He’s easy going, timely and communicated well. The snorkeling was easy and we saw several sea turtles. So exciting. The videos he sends after are such a treasure. Book this trip! It’s so much better than the cruise excursions.

Johnny is a wonderful guide and gave us a very special experience. We were quite nervous about snorkeling and he was reassuring and patient. We saw turtles, eagle ray and little fish around the wreck. The locations he drove us to were amazing. Our best trip on our 3 week holiday.

The information shared during the tour, from a local standpoint, was quite interesting. We did not realized the snorkel part was guided as well, and that was REALLY helpful. There had been a storm earlier and the visibility was limited at the snorkel sight. With the direct assistance was still productive and enjoyable. Would certainly do tour again when we go back to Antigua.

Johnny was knowledgeable & friendly and an expert at snorkeling, who knew exactly where the turtles & shipwrecks were.

Johnny took us around the island and took us to Shirley Heights, the dock yards, which were interesting. Then we went onto snorkel. It was very informative, instructional. The water was warm & we swam out to a shipwreck & saw lots of fish. We will hook up with Johnny again. He was great!

Very poor day for snorkeling - water was VERY cloudy with low visibility. John, however, was delightful & accommodating with plenty of knowledge of the history & culture of Antigua. He could not create clear water but did everything else to make us comfortable. We did not find the effort to swim out difficult in the least.

A very fun experience seeing the island then many sea turtles when snorkeling. We were a group of 6 and Johnny’s vehicle did not fit us very well. It would be perfect for 4 or 2. Also, there is a lot swimming to snorkel, so when he says there is physical exertion he means it, but we were all in decent shape and loved the activity.

This is a fabulous small group experience. Between 2-6 people. Johnny is very knowledgeable loves the water, loves the island. He took us to the Nelson Dockyards and other historic sites. He was able to take us through areas that helped us avoid the crowds from bus loads of tourist. Our final stop, which was galleon Bay was spectacular. He snorkeled out with my husband, and there are a couple of shipwrecks there plus they saw sea turtles and other fish and Johnny took videos which he uploaded and emailed to us at no extra cost. I would highly recommend this tour if you want personal service with a delightful young man.

We loved the experience and Johnny was an awesome host. This is a private tour! He was very knowledgeable about the island. Nelson’s Dockyards and Shirley Heights are two sites that showcase the heritage and beauty of the island. If you haven’t heard of “World’s Toughesr Row” - look it up! It’s rowing across the Atlantic from Canary Islands to Antigua. We were fortunate to see one of the last three boats arrive. Amazing! It was our first time snorkeling from the shore and we loved the experience. We saw a stingray swim right beneath us, and the turtles were actively swimming around us and going up for air. It was clear Johnny knew the hotspots that Galleon beach had to offer. He took a number of videos that he shared with us after our tour. Overall, a great experience! Highly recommend.

Cannot recommend enough. Pickup instructions were really cleatlr. Johnny was extremely knowledgeable about the history of antigua. Amazing snorkelling experience, we saw an octopus, stingray, eagle ray and a beautiful turtle. Good quality snorkelling equipment. The water is quite calm but you do spend a lot of time in it so would recommend being a decent swimmer. Absolutely magical experience

We had a great morning with Johnny. Prompt pick up at our hotel. He was very friendly and keen to tailor the trip to what we wanted. Went to Shirley Heights and Nelsons Dockyard and he told us some interesting facts about the places. Then to Galleon bay for snorkelling. Well prepared and good kit. He was a great guide. Saw some great stuff - 2 shipwrecks, shoal of squid and a turtle. Best bit was the massive spotted eagle ray tho!! Excellent trip. He sent video he’d taken at the end of the trip.

David, Dino & Mark provided us with an excellent boat trip to Hell's Gate, along with snorkelling to see Turtles and Stingrays in their natural environment. The lunch on board was great and later after all the activities rum punch and banana bread was provided. The whole trip was fun, informative and a huge amount of consideration was given to our Health & Safety . The only thing we would add is that you are on a boat so be prepared to get wet!
