It was a great tour of some of the most scenic spots in Antigua. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and friendly. I highly recommend this tour.

Itinerary
The Blockhouse is a brick ruin located high above English Harbour in Nelson's Dockyard National Park, overlooking the southeastern coast of Antigua. Constructed in the 18th century, it offers unobstructed views of Antigua's coastline.
Shirley Heights is a restored military lookout and gun battery. The Lookout is a high point (about 490 ft.) that affords a superb view of English and Falmouth Harbours, one of the best views in Antigua!!
This park has been the heart of naval activity on the island since the 18th century. It is famous for being the only Georgian dockyard in the world that is still operational. Throughout the years, it has preserved its maritime and colonial history, and in 2016, it was designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
At Pigeon Point Beach, you'll be greeted by fine white sand randomly interspersed with trees, creating an airy yet shady environment. This idyllic little beach in the quiet bay of Falmouth Harbour is close to many popular places in English Harbour and is one of the most accessible beaches on the island.

The tour was just the right amount of time to see part of the island. the tour guide was very knowledgeable about the sites we saw. We enjoyed our tour.
George was an excellent guide. He made the trip very fun. We made stops all around the island, he explained so much to us and we were able to take nice photos. Recommended! Greetings Kathrin & Florian ♥️
Keesha our guide was amazing, we even got treated to some gorgeous singing. Would definitely recommend this tour seeing the sights but especially pigeon point beach, just stunning
Great historical tour. Guide was very knowledgeable and easy to understand and talk to Was off season had beach to ourselves
We enjoyed the history and beauty of the island. Our tour guide George made the day fun and informative.
We had an amazing experience on this tour! It ended up being just my husband and me, which made it feel like a private, personalized excursion. Our guide, Julie, was incredibly knowledgeable about Antigua and shared so much interesting history, local information, and insight throughout the day. You could tell she truly knows the island and its people. The places we visited were absolutely beautiful and really showcased what makes Antigua so special. The transportation was clean, comfortable, and air-conditioned, with cold bottled water provided, which was very much appreciated in the Caribbean heat. At the beach stop, wristbands were included so we could use the restrooms and rinse off at no additional cost, which was a nice bonus. Overall, this tour was an incredible value compared to many of the other excursions available. The personalized experience, knowledgeable guide, comfortable transportation, and beautiful stops made it one of our favorite days of the cruise. We would absolutely recommend this tour to anyone visiting Antigua!
It was a very good tour. Enjoyed learning something about the history of Antigua. And the views were beautiful.
We ended up with a very small group that was accomodated by the provider. Leo our guide was very personable and fun to talk to. He was knowledgeable about the sites visited and flexible to meet our needs/wants. Overall, looking at a map we saw about 1/2 the island. The van was clean and comfortable and air conditioned. It was noted that we were going off-season, so the crowds at the stops were not overwhelming which was nice.
Tour of Antigua was great! We enjoyed the sites and the information shared about the island. The view from Shirley Heights was amazing.
Our driver Leo was very good!! Polite and new the right places to take us. The Pigeon Beach was beautiful. He was on time for pickup and drop off. I recommend this tour if you are with children and don’t have to much time.
Our guide Kim was wonderful, knowledgeable and funny! She talked with everyone, asked questions and interacted with the entire tour. Our driver Jamie was great at getting us around safely! The tour was gorgeous and we loved it!
Ensure the driver knows what package you bought. We bought the half day Antigua Round but, we only saw the Devil's bridge. He tried to take us to Sheirley's height but, we had been there on a previous tour the day before. He also took us to Nelson's Dockyard eventhough we told him we had been there yesterday. It was a total waste of our money. The driver, informative but, was on his phone constantly while driving, making it an unsafe and uncomfortable ride.
It was fantastic! We loved our Tour Guide and Driver. The van was clean, cool van. We did an excursion in every Port and this was our favorite. I believe I got this tour mixed up with another tour when submitting my Viator review regarding lack of seat belts & water. Please, disregard that review.
Nice air conditioned van and friendly & helpful Guide. No seat belts and lack of offering water to everyone in the van were the reasons we gave it a 4 instead of 5.
The pickup process was efficient and the transport van was very comfortable. The guide was a delight and very informative. My only suggestion is that the beach location could improve dramatically in terms of facilities.
Iarrna was amazing as was Wayne. She knew everything about her amazing home land. Helpful, attentive and funny what else do you need. Also loud which was a bonus.
Excellent tour and guide. Lots of interesting places visited. Beautiful views and stops. Beach stop was ok.
Lovely half day tour but a bit rushed at some of the destinations tour guide though was excellent
We had an excellent experience. The tour is very well thought out, allowing you to see several key sights and experience a wonderful beach at the end. Our tour guide Yajaira was amazing - she had so much local knowledge to share and made the tour really fun! Also an excellent driver. Thank you!
Coming for stove, Deborah was great as was Wayne the driver. The scenery was amazing and great to hop off and take some pics and get back on the bus. Beach was amazing, except no lounge chairs or anything but it was great.
This was a great balance for a half-day tour. We learned so much from our guide, who shared a lot of insight into what life is really like on the island. It was wonderful to see the local culture on the way to the sightseeing stops, and the beach was as beautiful as you can imagine. If you have more time, you might want longer at the beach, but for our cruise schedule, it was perfect.
We had a great time with Kim as our tour guide. She was very knowledgeable and handled the day very efficiently. This tour is on one of those mid size bus/vans which was somewhat difficult for a couple of older travelers taking the excursion that had mobility issues or used a cane and they struggled getting in/out or opted to not get out. This tour has stops with navigating rocks, slippery surfaces and a beach. If you have mobility challenges, this may not be the correct option for you.
For a half-day tour, this excursion did a great job fitting in a ton of sights, information, and experiences. Iyana (sp?) was a FANTASTIC tour guide. She was deeply knowledgeable and able to answer all questions, came very prepared with laminated photos displaying tidbits about Antigua and Barbuda, and was able to speak nonstop about literally everything we passed along the way.
The beach we visited was not the best. It was not very well organised at Nelson boatyard and we ended up without a guide
No chairs at beach. Had to lay on towel. Very uncomfortable. No beverages available Driver and guide were very good
Needed more time at the sites.
A really wonderful excursion with Kim. Really felt like I got to see some of the island. Amazing view points, fascinating Nelson’s dock yard and a lovely local beach. Only thing is that each stop felt rushed - but I think that comes down to ship departure times.
Kim was an excellent tour guide, and gave a great narrative of the island and it's history. Our complaint is the amount of time spent at Nelson's Dockyard. 45 minutes is not nearly enough if you want to get anything more than a cursory glance. Same with the beach stop. We were allowed 60 minutes, which translates to about 30 minutes in the water. 2 hours would have been better. Drive time was long because of the single lane of traffic the whole way. In sum, very quick overview of the main sights, not enough time at any of them.
The tour start was unfortunately delayed by 1/2 hour because passengers from another cruise ship had been prevented from disembarking. The tour operator kept us regularly updated about this and was very apologetic. Our guide, Kim, was extremely knowledgeable and very personable. The 3 historical stops were interesting and the time allocated at each was perfect. Although we were able to swim at the beach, the person who rented chairs and umbrellas was on vacation. Fortunately a beach bar/restaurant opened 1/2 hour after we arrived, providing somewhere for non-swimmers to sit and wait. I would definitely recommend this tour.
Fun, informative trip. Great guide and driver. Interesting commentary and good stops. Timings worked well.
Kim was fantastic! We learned so much about Antigua it’s history and culture. And she was fun to be with
The pickup was easy to get to from the cruise ship and organized when we got there. Our driver and tour guide were very friendly and knowledgeable. I wish we would have had more time at the dockyards to explore on our own. The roads to get to the places are very bumpy which I know is not the tours fault. Overall it was a pleasant day.
Checking in was organized. Driver and tour guide were very nice and informative. I wish we would have had a little more time at the dock yard to walk around on our own. Roads are very bumpy and other drivers are crazy which I know are not their fault. It was a pleasant day overall.
Jaime was the driver and he was fabulous! Deborah was our tour guide and she made the trip great! Would highly recommend this tour!
Wonderful day. Beautiful scenery
Deborah was an excellent and entertaining guide, and Jaime a fine driver. The time at each stop was just enough, and we learned a lot about Antigua.
I took 5 of my family on this 5 hour tour. The weather was great so the beach time was awesome .The tour guide was excellent with lots of island information and history. I felt the tour was expensive for what we did and saw. I would look at other options next time
The trip was extremely informative and a very comfortable car with a very knowledgeable guide by the name of Julie. Julie was a careful driver and took us to all of the views that were interesting.
Excellent tour, first time visiting the island and we learned so much about Antigua from Kim!! St Johns offers lots of shopping, great lookout at The Blockhouse with a few local vendors, Shirley Heights has an amazing lookout point, Nelson Dockyard Museum was fun to look around and Pigeon Point Beach was a nice clean beach with beautiful aqua water. Definitely recommend.
Kim was an excellent guide. Very helpful & informative. Only negative would be to have had longer time at Nelson’s Dockyard. But we thoroughly enjoyed the overall experience.
Overall great, insightful and beautiful tour. Fantastic guide MEL, who was full of smile, energy and knowledge of her homeland. Shared and shown more than many other guides we witnessed in the past. Simply put, she was a great story teller! Good initial organization in the port with agency lead waiting for us despite our ship disembarking later than planned. What ruined it for us, was the driver - MJ. Absolute nightmare. He was constantly rushing us, was unpleasant and almost rude. Full terror. WAS BEGGING FOR TIPS AND ELABORATING HOW SPLIT WORKS BETWEEN DRIVERS AND GUIDES IN ANTIGUA (we don’t care!!!). Was making remarks that we will spend less time on beach as somebody was late on previous stop… WHAT A JOKE
Great tour! Everything was well organized and made it easy to visit several beautiful locations in one day. Each stop was scenic and unique, and the whole experience was smooth and enjoyable. Highly recommend for anyone wanting to see a lot without the stress of planning!
Wonderful 1/2 Day. private tour ! George was great, loved learning about the island & seeing the island from the mountain top.. then down to a fabulous lunch on the beach.... with the exception of too many curvy roads- which of couse were not the fault of the tour or driver, it was great.. highly recommend!!
We had a wonderful day with our tour guide Mel. She was very knowledgeable and as we traveled to each stop, she gave us lots of history about the island and facts about the area. She was so sweet and answered all of our questions. We were a group of 8 and there were 11 on the tour. The van was clean and air conditioned and very comfortable. It was great variety of stops that were historical and a nice beach stop with trees! Thanks for an awesome day, Mel!!!!
It was a very nice overview of the historical and scenic sights of Antigua. We had been to Antigua several times before and mostly had gone on beach excursions, so we decided this time to explore the history of the island. Beautiful overlooks and interesting history at Nelson's Dockyard. Short stop at the beach. Would recommend.
Williams is a very kind guide and driver. He makes the tour around the island interesting.
Appreciated the air conditioned van transport (vs the open air back of a pickup truck). Guide was good. Pigeon beach was beautiful.
Excellent tour. Takes in couple of historic sights/viewpoints as well as Nelsons dockyard and little bit of time on a beach. Really good guide, Kim, who was very informative and made it a great experience. Got a little taster of Antigua as we only had 1 day here and would highly recommend.
Did a bus tour with our guide, Carl. He did an outstanding job of explaining the island and various site including several old forts. He shared photos and descriptions of local birds and wildlife. Bring swim wear for the beach portion at a beautiful little bay. Lunch is available at an adjacent restaurant but service there is very slow. Great day!
