Experience Antigua ( 2 Persons And Above Only )

The airport wifi was spotty but they found us and took care of providing easy transportation back and forth. The drivers were friendly and helpful. The cars were clean. Overall great experience

The personal experience was great!! Our tour guide was King David, he was absolutely one of a kind, he explained the history of the island, was patient with us to take pictures. We wanted to purchase souvenirs so he took us to the market place and we saved a ton of money. I would definitely use there service again!!!

Whilst on Antigua, decided to book a private Antigua trip which Chris Platinum tours were the appointed operator, King David was our tour operator for the trip, and having explained what we wanted to do, he was the perfect host, taking us to Nelson Dockyard, Shirley Heights, through the rainforest, a lunch and beach time at Dennis Beach, a great day with a great host, recommended for sure, with the rum punch a nice addition.

Very nice, personable guide. He found us the best possible spot at a quiet beachclub, just like we wanted! The communication could have been better during, as the plan wasn't clear and options werent given, we had to prompt a lot. But all in all a great tour discovering the island, we learned a lot.

Winston the guide was very knowledgeable. He told all the history of the island. The good and the bad.

This was such a great day! A wonderful overview of the whole island, with fun and informative guides. Definitely worth the cost!

Wonderful tour with King David! He was right on time and tailored the tour to our preferences. We felt no pressure to hurry when we made stops along the way. David gave a lot of interesting commentary and served us some cold rum punch at one of our stops. He even stopped at a roadside stand so that we could buy some Black Pineapple, which was so sweet and delicious.

Wonderful seeing the island and beautiful views from various vantage points. We did not know we would be going to a beach to swim and therefore did not have are swim suits with us. We did stop at a beautiful beach and had rum punch.

King David was a wonderful personable guide and very accommodating, However, I felt it was an awful lot of driving for not many sites to see (Nelson Dockyard, Shirley Heights) . We had chosen not to spend time at the beach. Perhaps spending time at the beach might have made the driving more worthwhile. However, King gave us a very good intro to the island. Also King had rum punch and virgin punch available. However, I would have appreciated more a couple of bottles of cold water.

We loved our Chris Platinum tour with our guide, King David. His van was clean, comfortable and stocked with punch and rum punch! We received clear directions about where to meet after our ship docked. This was our first visit to Antigua; Mr. David made suggestions that helped us see the best sites. Nelson's Dockyard was picturesque and it was fun to explore the historical buildings. We also saw Shirley Heights where the views are stunning. Mr. David asked if we wanted some beach time (we did!) and he took us to a beautiful beach that was uncrowded. Throughout the day, Mr. David answered questions and made our drive enjoyable with all the information he shared.

Typical island tour. Nothing special to note if you’ve been on an island tour in the past. Another couple was with us in the van that we didn’t know. Our guide was David the King. Not a whole lot of narration. Long times in a car. No black pineapple trial. Stopped at one roadside stand unfamiliar to him and didn’t try anywhere else. Wasn’t a terrible time, just nothing special

We did a half day tour with "King David" as our tour guide. His van was comfortable and he provided us with a large bottle of homemade rum punch, and another of plain fruit punch. Both looked similar to Hawaiian Punch. We were hoping to get bottled water as the four of us didn't want alcohol or fruit punch. He was accommodating to stop so we could buy bottled water. He was very pleasant and gave us a lot of information about the island. He let us decide where we wanted him to take us, and was very friendly and a good tour guide. When we told him we wanted to sample Black Pineapple from the island, he found the perfect place for us to stop. It was a small place on the side of the road called Rita's Grill right along side one of the beaches. Rita's husband grilled fresh chicken and fish, and we ate at their picnic tables with a very pleasant view of the beach. The chicken came with delicious rice, pasta salad, and cole slaw, all very fresh and really delicious. The fish was Red Snapper fresh from the Sea, and that stop was one of the highlights of our trip. He took us to the top of Shirley Heights, where we had a breathtaking view of Eric Clapton's house and retreat, a view of Guadalupe, South America, and the island of Montserrat in the background. This is definitely the spot for great photos! We enjoyed our day and would definitely recommend Chris Platinum Tours.

We went on a lovely tour with JoMarie. She took us around the island and had great suggestions for things to see. She told us many interesting things about history, daily life and island produce. We saw historical sites, rainforest and nice beaches. She was very helpful and kind with the young kids and older person in our group.

At arrival in port our driver Nicole was already waiting for us. Nicole took us to several points of interest and told us about history, culture en about living on the island. She stopped on request when we wanted to take pictures. We went to Nelson's Dockyard, Shirley's heights, tasted black pineapple and drove thru the rainforest and more. Beautiful island and very nice people but Nicole is probably the nicest person on the island😄.

The tour guide Nicole was just a blessing! She knew the area well and made sure we went to all the historical points with scenic views. Her excellent customer service skills coupled with her enthusiasm for her job, motivated us to walk, climb, and jump without complaining! The views were absolutely beautiful!

Chris Platinum Tours is a small family operation. We had Mr. Clouds as our guide. He was knowledgeable and very nice. He seemed to know everyone on the island. The tour had a very nice pace and at the end he took us to a local restaurant where we had an amazing meal in a place full of locals. Do not hesitate to book this tour

Great trip and guide visiting the beautiful island of Antigua. Lots of history and beautiful beaches and views.

Platinum tours provided us with adorable, educational tour guides. Enjoyable trip. Much preferred over cruise excursions.

I really enjoyed this tour and I highly recommend it!! Beautiful beaches! and I was also went to Nelson's Dockyard to shop.

Tour guide was actually just a driver with no knowledge of the island. His car had a flat tire and we needed to take a public bus back to town and then walk to the ship. Overall very poor and I feel that a refund is warranted. Many other complaints as well but I will stop here.

We were aboard the Viking sea which docked at Antigua yesterday and I am so happy we booked before hand we were greeted by the boss himself Chris who was waiting for us which we really thought was great he is pleasant attentive and has a great personality. We had our 2 kids, my wife and myself and what we liked was that they offered car seats the ride was real comfortable air conditioned. Our favorite part of this tour was the beach the water was calm and the food was great our guide was well knowledgeable and took us into Nelson dock yard and the view at Shirley heights was superb but unfortunately we didn't walk with a camera. We even got to taste a slice of the Antigua black pineapple I would definitely recommend these guys of your looking for an awesome time with in a budget still get drinks and water included this is the go to package you won't regret it one bit

A group of friends just recently docked in Antigua on a cruise and I personally picked Chris Platinum tours for them and arranged the bookings before hand and I am pleased that the feed back I received was excellent not only did my friends whom I have known for a long time had a great time but also they said that they were well taken care of jermaine and Chris was knowledgeable and quite helpful I was told. Didnt know I could have so much fun on a tour. I'm from New York and tours are all over in NY lol but nothing like this. Never thought I would do one but wow I must say I had such an amazing time. Chris is not your typical tour guide He was so nice and outgoing. Made me want to go again. Well I just graduated from college so I brought 2 friends with me and we enjoyed every bit of it. There's so much to see and so much to do. The beaches are so much cleaner and clear than the beaches in N.Y. I don't swim in the waters in NY but I sure did swim in that water in Antigua 😁. My personal favorite was the Devils Bridge and The Museum of Antigua love learning about another culture/Country.

Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed by Chris himself, our names were mentioned on board and we felt welcomed, and with such a friendly atmosphere we had a fantastic start to our day! The guide and tour was extremely good, very flexible, and for that he deserves a special thanks. We had two great days with him, which obviously added up to the experience.  He is keen to making the tour organized. The tour program was scheduled well, and was on time. We didn't miss anything during the tour program.  He is very humorous. Chris had such a warm personality and is a highly motivated guide. All respect for Chris who does a great job, a true sample of an excellent tour guide! Many thanks again, and I would recommend Chris platinum tours to everyone!

Eine rundum gelungene Tour - King David war ein hervorragender Guide. Wir hatten sehr viel Spaß! Fryes Beach war der schönste Strand, den wir auf unserer Karibiktour hatten.

Very disappointed by this tour... Actually, we had a driver... We asked him to speak French. No, he was talking Creole. After no interest this tour.. Just a tour of the island without seeing the points of interest... Very expensive for what it has St... I do not recommend

Mein Mann und ich wurden mit 6 weiteren Personen im angenehm klimatisierten Kleinbus von Silvana, unserer Reiseleitung und Germain, unserem Fahrer, über Antigua gefahren. Die beiden haben uns eine tolle, individuelle und kurzweilige Inseltour, mit allem was dazu gehört, bereitet. Vielen Dank dafür.
