This was our first time at this hotel, and also my partner's and my first visit to Antigua. We received a warm welcome upon arrival; despite the language barrier—since we don't speak English very well—the staff were attentive, patient, and made a real effort to understand us. Everyone was very kind. We stayed for two nights, and the room was spacious and pleasant. As we were on an all-inclusive plan, we enjoyed a wide variety of cocktails and food; a menu with different options was offered each day, and every meal was delicious. We also swam with turtles—a wonderful experience organized by the hotel. Everything was perfect.

Overall, we had a pleasant stay. I chose this resort for our babymoon because, at seven months pregnant, I wanted a peaceful, relaxing, and luxurious getaway. The property is beautiful, our room was lovely, and the staff was friendly and welcoming. However, the all-inclusive experience was disappointing. The food was average, the menu was limited, and several items were unavailable at nearly every meal. We were also charged extra for items like steak and lobster, which I believe should have been included. Meals were only served during scheduled times, with no late-night food or snack options. Transportation was another downside. Since the resort is far from local restaurants and excursions, I expected more affordable transportation or a shuttle, but hotel transportation was very expensive. Housekeeping could also be improved. We didn't receive daily turndown service and were asked to reuse towels until housekeeping arrived. Fresh towels and a clean room are part of what I consider a luxury vacation. A special shoutout to Kierra at the front desk, who went above and beyond to help us enjoy experiences outside the resort. Overall, I would recommend the resort for its beautiful, relaxing atmosphere, but I believe improvements to the all-inclusive dining, housekeeping, and transportation would make the experience much more enjoyable.
Absolutely incredible!!! We stayed here for our honeymoon and plan to go back soon! The views and suite are beyond gorgeous and the staff was SO friendly! We had an issue with our booking, then lost our key, and they were so kind and professional. Diana, the hostess, knew our names and everyone was just great. The food was awesome—literally never had anything bad. Absolutely recommend!!
My husband and I recently spent 9 nights at Escape at Nonsuch Bay Resort in Antigua for our honeymoon, and overall, it was a lovely experience. The highlights were definitely the service from the front desk—Randy and Kierah were absolutely outstanding, helpful, and answered all our questions right away; they truly deserve five stars! We also had a great experience with a manager who gave us fantastic local recommendations for our island tour, and the resort’s snorkel sea turtle tour was a major highlight. Our tour guide was hilarious and excellent at spotting turtles for us. The property itself is kept very clean, and housekeeping did a fantastic job throughout our stay. While we enjoyed our time, there were a few areas for improvement. The rooms are a bit outdated and could use a refresh. The resort restaurant food was hit or miss, and while the staff is generally very friendly, we noticed a decline in attentiveness the longer we stayed. It felt like the focus shifted toward newly arrived couples, and as our stay progressed, we found ourselves being neglected at times rather than served right away like we were at the beginning of our stay. All in all, this resort is a great fit if you're the type of traveler who prefers to stay put and enjoy a peaceful retreat. It really lives up to the 'escape' in its name. However, if you prefer a high-energy environment, you might be better off staying elsewhere on the island. We found that renting a vehicle was the best way to get the most out of our trip, allowing us to enjoy the tranquility of the resort while still being able to get out and explore the island at our own pace.
If you are looking for a quiet, relaxing and romantic place to stay, this is the place! The resort is located in the remote, south eastern part of the island, among the mangroves. We stayed for 2 weeks and rented a car to explore the island. The room is nice, modern and the private infinity pool is very clean. The food quality is very good and there are live musicians performing on some nights. I espesially enjoyed the jazz singer that played keyboard and a saxophone player. There is a beach nearby and free shuttle available twice a day, but we found it to be full of sargassum during our stay. We ended up going to either Long Bay beach (20km drive), Morris Bay beach (30km drive) or the beaches on west coast of the island. The only negative were mosquitoes that come out during the evenings. Despite the staff doing their best with fumigating and citronella candles, you can still get bitten, so make sure to bring some repellent.
