Had an absolutely wonderful stay at Hodges Bay. Taking the boat to Prickly Pear was an absolute highlight. At breakfast there is a lady that makes amazing egg dishes. The restaurant by the beach has wonderful “by the waves” vibes. Overall speaking the Service attitude could sometimes be better. But Michael King (one of the butler) was the exception, he was really amazing, a true gem living up to his potential in a property that feels like it could do, too.
Second time here and it did not disappoint! We love the location on the north side of the island — feels tucked away but still super convenient. Amenities were great, the food selection was excellent (seriously, something for everyone), and service was solid all around. We also tried Katsuya Beach — simple menu, quick service, and outstanding taste. Can't wait to come back!
This was a surprise 50th birthday trip for me, organized by my daughter. We traveled as a party of 6 women, in our over 50's, 40's, 30's and twenty-somethings, and we all had a fantastic experience. The villa was beautiful, the butlers and staff were great (Michael & Craig were our normal staff)... Ms. Viola made us the most delicious breakfast daily. We had relaxing massages, and lounged by the pool for hours. Ice cold pina coladas, and fantastic dinners at Katsuya. I have traveled extensively in the carribean and globally and this resort is one of my new favorite places. Quiet, beautiful and relaxing experience.
This stunning resort offers incredible cuisine and a staff that's both incredibly friendly and highly professional. With so much to explore, you could easily spend days here without ever leaving. We arrived early and were welcomed with delicious cocktails, then relaxed on the private island until our room was ready. The rooms were spotless, the views breathtaking, and it was the perfect retreat after a week out on the water
The experience was absolutely amazing. The staff was incredible and very attentive. I recommend asking for Craig, as he goes above and beyond to enhance your stay. My only minor concern was regarding the service speed. While the food is excellent, there was a noticeable delay in its arrival at the table. I believe the resort could improve in this area, as it sometimes encourages guests to dine elsewhere. Nevertheless, I will certainly be returning.
