My husband and I celebrated our 10-year wedding anniversary at Hawksbill Resort, and we honestly couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful and memorable experience. This has been our favorite trip together so far! We arrived on our actual anniversary day and, due to a misunderstanding with our dinner reservations and canceling our original beach dinner, we suddenly realized we didn’t really have dinner plans for such a special night. The staff went above and beyond to accommodate us and make our beautiful beach dinner happen. It ended up being the most amazing anniversary date we could have asked for! We are so grateful they helped turn what could have been a stressful situation into such a magical and unforgettable evening. The resort itself was absolutely beautiful, peaceful, and relaxing. Our fridge was stocked daily, and we loved being able to walk right out and snorkel in front of where we were staying. Waking up surrounded by that beauty and having everything we needed made the experience even more special. Thank you to the team at Hawksbill Resort for helping us celebrate 10 years of marriage in such a meaningful way. We made memories that we will cherish forever, and we would absolutely love to return! If you’re looking for a romantic, peaceful getaway with beautiful beaches and a team that goes the extra mile, this place is truly special. Definitely recommend the beach dinner!❤️🌊🥂

Hawksbill Resort – 7 Day Recap After seven days at Hawksbill Resort, here’s my take. If you’re looking for a quiet, relaxing Caribbean escape, this place delivers. No loud music, no animation team, no constant interruptions—just the sound of the waves, beautiful beaches, a great pool, and plenty of places to unwind. I stayed in a Royal Palm beachfront bungalow, and it was worth it. Waking up steps from the ocean every morning never got old. While one section of the beach is rocky, there are sandy areas just a short walk away with easy access to the water. The staff have been consistently friendly and welcoming, always smiling and happy to help. Drinks are generous (very generous), and the food has been consistently enjoyable throughout the week. As for vacation achievements: I successfully transported margaritas in my water bottle, somehow lost a battle with inflating a floatie, and despite my best efforts, my better half made sure I never turned into the lobster I aspired to be. I’ve met some wonderful people from Canada, the U.S., Ireland, and England, and that has made an already relaxing vacation even better. Overall, Hawksbill isn’t a luxury five-star resort—and it doesn’t pretend to be. It’s a simple, laid-back, adults-only resort with beautiful scenery, genuine hospitality, and exactly the kind of peaceful atmosphere many people are looking for. Sometimes the best vacations aren’t about doing everything—they’re about doing absolutely nothing. Eat well and travel often!
We had a wonderful stay at Hawksbill Bay in Antigua. The staff truly made the experience. Everyone was friendly, attentive, and consistently on top of things, which made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The rooms were comfortable, clean, and the air conditioning was a lifesaver in the Caribbean heat. The grounds are beautiful and exceptionally well maintained, making it a pleasure to walk around the property. One of the biggest highlights is having four gorgeous beaches to choose from, each with its own character, so it never felt crowded. The food was good, though not extraordinary. That said, it's about what we've come to expect from most all-inclusive resorts, and there was always something enjoyable to eat. Overall, Hawksbill Bay offers a relaxing atmosphere, beautiful scenery, excellent service, and great value. We'd happily stay here again and would recommend it to anyone looking for a laid-back Antigua getaway.
We had a fabulous two-week stay at Hawksbill and came home feeling completely relaxed and refreshed. The beaches are absolutely beautiful, the sunsets are stunning, and the whole resort has a lovely, laid-back Caribbean feel. We stayed in a Royal Palm Bungalow, which was comfortable and in a great location. As a gluten-free guest, I was very well catered for and really appreciated the clearly labelled options and helpful staff. The food, wine selection and all-inclusive drinks were excellent, and the staff worked incredibly hard throughout our stay. If you’re looking for a peaceful, low-key and charming Caribbean escape rather than a lively party resort, Hawksbill is a wonderful choice. We’d happily return!
The best way to describe the resort is that you get what you pay for. This is a VERY economical all inclusive beach resort that is not crowded and has a laid back atmosphere. Pros: Very reasonably priced. Hard to find an all inclusive, on the beach, for this price. Water and beach are beautiful with good snorkeling right off the beach. We were in a Royal Palm room so we could stay in our loungers right outside the room all day, step right into the water and snorkel. We did not use water shoes and had no problem with the rocks. Did not have a single insect bite the entire stay. Cons: Room had a few issues. Service was adequate, no one was rude but not on par with higher end resorts. Very few of the staff looked like they wanted to be there. Food was adequate but not great. Overall good experience, for the price.
