Mercure Ankara Kizilay

Recommended for those who wanted access to major city sites and friendly staff. I spent three nights in Mercure Ankara Kizilay and it was pretty nice. Metro station (Ankaray line station to be accurate) is right in front of the hotel, which connects you to the Ankara YHT station, the city centre and also major tourist spots. All the staff I encountered were so friendly and helpful, especially staff in the restaurant during breakfast. I had room service for two meals as well and the quality was nice. Also, the reception tackled small issues and requests promptly. The room was okay and all facilities were functional. The shower gel and shampoo were quite watery though, not sure if that’s normal. Anyway, I had some great rest in the room throughout my stay. As you may read some comments about the sound from the mosque in the morning. It’s true that the mosque is right opposite to the hotel, and you would hear Adhan every early morning (before 6am). If you are a light sleeper or you are not used to staying nearby a mosque, remember to bring ear plugs and close the windows. I think it’s not super loud. I did get waken up by Adhan at the first night but I slept through that period of time the nights after. Overall, it’s a recommended place to stay in Ankara

He helped us with our booking and was always available to answer questions, provide information, and assist us with a friendly smile. I would also like to thank his colleague Erkan, who was equally helpful, welcoming, and professional throughout our stay. The staff at this hotel are genuinely warm and friendly, and they made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. The room was very clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The breakfast was excellent, with a wide variety of delicious options to choose from. I highly recommend Mercure Ankara Kızılay to anyone visiting Ankara and look forward to staying here again in the future.
