A good hotel with good access to nearby eating places. Hotel kitchen closes at 10 pm so if you are arriving late, eat before you come as most of the restaurants close at 10 as well. There is a 24/7 petrol station next to the hotel offering sandwiches, drinks etc. Overall a comfortable stay as rooms are good sized and quiet. Internet speed is good too.

The rooms on the third floor were smoker rooms. There was a foul smell and it was too hot. Thankfully after our complaint they changed our room to first floor the next day. The extra bed in our room was not very comfortable but after asking for a second mattress it was quite ok. Service was good although we couldn't get an extra card for our room, so we had to use one card for 3, which got awkward at some times. Breakfast was great though, you can ask for anything and they'll just provide it for you. Especially Ercan Bey was very helpful, big up to him. The location is well placed, there are a lot of restaurants nearby, there's a beautiful mosque in the neighbourhood. It was also a mostly calm neighbourhood,
I stayed here in the middle of September for my daughter's wedding. As a American from Sacramento CA speaking no Turkish I found the staff and accommodation wonderful. My room was clean and comfortable and I appreciated the open window for fresh air . My view of Ankara day and night was so nice . The breakfast offer was delicious so much to choose from . Perfect Turkish Breakfast to start my very long days . I also had room service on one of my days there and that was very good too . I did not get to explore what was around the hotel but my daughter's best friend did . He enjoyed taking walks in the neighborhood ( we had really nice weather) taking pictures and the close by businesses. I felt very taken care of at Hotel Excellence Inn being my first time in Ankara. I absolutely love my short time in Ankara can not wait to return.
Last week, I spent 3 nights in this hotel and everything was perfect ! The room was large, perfectly clean with many amenities. The breakfast is really great with a large choice of dishes and I truly loved it ! Above all, the staff is absolutely the kindest ever : they really do their best to please you and I really appreciated ! If I had to come back to Ankara, I would definitely book again this hotel.
Rooms are comfy, breakfast was OK, nothing special. Coffee was really bad though. The rooms need maintenance. It was 17 degrees in the room and heating is not working because it’s “central” and they did not “turn it on” yet. 5 days till October in Ankara, what are you waiting for, Santa? Couldn’t close window, bathroom door was crooked and needed some “encouragement” to close it. Edit: we had a pleasant chat during check out. Management surely seemed capable and eager of solving problems I had. Mentioned heating was a temporary issue during maintenance and they’d gladly offer extra blankets, a fresh coffee etc. I appreciate their approach and focus on problem solving. As an introvert, I prefer not having multiple phone calls and conversations but it was obvious they would do their best to make my stay a better experience.
