We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. Everything was clean, comfortable, and well organized. We would like to sincerely thank all the staff for their kindness, professionalism, and warm hospitality. Every member of the team was friendly, helpful, and always greeted us with a smile. They made us feel welcome and truly cared about making our stay enjoyable. Best hotel in Ankara, we really enjoyed our stay. The woman at the reception was really nice and always smiling to us. We were surprised that the hotel is very clean and the service was amazing.
The washing machine shut down when the room key was removed. Lights and the TV shutting down when guests are away is a sensible power saving move, but utilities like this and the refrigerator should always be on a separate circuit.
Spacious rooms and a useful ergonomic soap dispenser in the showers. The lights had USB sockets, which could be great for leaving a wall charger free to leaving . There was another desk lamp in the room that required an app to use, I can't say I appreciate that.
The top floor is view is nice, and buffet was generous, unfortunately the healthiest parts were the least attractive (soggy cooked vegetables), compared to the beefy fries and eggs with sausage.
Reliable internet, but the television could really do with a separate speaker. With sound turned up on the input (google tv) and the television itself, it can be a bit unclear, I think because the frame blocks some of the sound. The staff were helpful, about 1 in 2 could speak some english.
We enjoyed our stay at Golaz. The rooms were clean and affordable for the amenities provided. It is within walking distance of several grocery stories and fast food spots.
Gorkem at the reception was very helpful and friendly. Will definitely be staying here again when next we're in Ankara.
