Informal pub like eating experience where a staff member provides cutlery wrapped in napkin The food was ExCELLENT. INVASIVE music overpowering though in the main room and I had to find another quieter eating space to enjoy the meal , It now seems to be impossible to to go anywhere in the UK without being force- feed insipid pop music

We stayed 6 nights whilst visiting family in the area. The room had great amenities and was spotlessly clean. The staff were always very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was lovely, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The surroundings were peaceful and stunning. Highly recommend.

Stayed for two nights at the hotel and also ate both nights in the restaurant. Cosy double was perfect for us - great shower and comfy bed. You can hear some creaks from the floor above occasionally but expected from an old building. All staff was absolutely lovely and breakfast was great too. Restaurant was brilliant - specials changed each day and we had a real mix of cuisine but all of them were hits!

Beautiful meal and brilliant service. Casey was amazing from start to finish and her experience shone through. Not only were we served efficiently but she managed to ward off a (ridiculous) complaint from a neighbouring table and very professionally. Definitely recommend the food and the whole team delivered great service. Duck and Watermelon salad was amazing as was the Salt and Pepper squid. Can’t fault the Welsh Black burger. We will be back and we can only hope that Casey is manager and the food and service are equally as good. Thank you.
