The trip was beautiful, the sites and stop location, but the guide was not up to the expected level or good. He was rude in his dealings and speech, also racist , as he bullied some nationalities in front of the group. His driving was somewhat dangerous. I recommend the trip, but with another guide.
Loved being able to see locations just outside Amsterdam in one convenient day tour. Zaanse Schans, the Afsluitdijk, and Geithoorn are places we would not normally have been able to get to with just a car or a train. We enjoyed all three locations.
Our tour guide Koen was 5star!!!! Started communications the day before our trip ensuring that we knew exactly where to be and at what time. Excellent customer service and very informative. He was knowledgeable and his english was very good. Had a fantastic experience!
Our tour guide Eric was wonderful. Gave a lot of history and helped to keep us informed. He even held our packages for us. Always went and got the van and brought it closer for us to get in. Really enjoyed seeing all the windmills and the tours of the cheese factory and clog making were wonderful. Had plenty of time for sightseeing and shopping. The canal tour was beautiful and so relaxing. Eric provided umbrellas during the brief showers that we had. Overall the weather was fantastic.
A great day out with interesting activities with a friendly knowledgeable tour guide. The canal tour was great. With the added bonus of it being a small group tour.
Great experiences with good and friendly tour guide. He gave us enough time to enjoy the trip. The weather was superb with blue sky, makes all the photos taken turn awesomes.
We had a wonderful experience on our day-trip exploring the Dutch countryside. Leidse was a GREAT host, he shared lots of information with us and his vibrant personality kept us entertained the whole day. I high recommend this tour and hope you get Leidse as a guide because he was great!!
An amazing day. Great stops. Especially enjoyed the windmills, clog making demonstrations and boat ride. Our tour guide did a great job. Picked us up on time, was very knowledgeable about all the locations we stopped at. Answered every question regarding locations, Netherlands Hx: and its culture. Enjoyed Leidse immensely
Pete was our guide and he’s very nice and friendly! Spilled many Dutch things we needa know. The pick up was smooth. Overall the tour was great. 8 people as a group is just perfect.
Leidse was great! The weather was gloomy but we didn’t notice because he kept all the interesting information he shared on the up beat! Very beautiful village and fun activities
I was contacted by Zane the day before to confirm pickup. Very interesting day out. Perfectly timed to avoid the crowds. Max 8 is a total bonus. Windmills were a treat, and the remote canal cruise was just beautiful.
Scenery and tour driver / guide are well train . Good tour. Small group of 8. Giethoorn are excellent . Overall 8
Great way to get out to the north and learn about the Netherlands.. Our guide/driver was friendly and very knowledgeable.
Unfortunately I cannot recommend this tour operator. I booked the trip for the 26th August, 8am. I arrived in front of ibis Hotel at 7:45 to make sure I get there early. The street was being closed as there was a fire alarm at the hotel. I waited there for half an hour trying to contact them via phone, WhatsApp and the booking platform. They finally responded via the booking platform (didn't even bother to call) to say the bus has departed (there was no bus when I arrived there) and my booking was showing in their system on the 27th which I'm sorry but I cannot believe this. They refunded me but that didn't help. I had only one day available to do this tour and I'm sorry I chose them. Very unprofessional!!! They only had one review when I booked the tour, surely written by someone they know. Please go with a tour company that has more reviews if you don't want your holiday ruined.
Peter was fantastic! Punctual, funny, and brought great local knowledge throughout the entirety of the trip. I would recommend this to anyone wanting an authentic experience!
Our trip was amazing we had lots of fun. We tasted some great cheese, saw wood clogs, bought diamond necklaces and enjoyed great views of windmills in Zaanse Schans. After that, we went to Giethoorn where we had lunch and an incredible boat cruise. It was simply paradise. To top it all of, we had the best tour guide you could ever think of. Leidse was very funny, informative and cooperative. He was truly the cherry on top of this heavinly tour. Highly recommended.
