You would expect to have following activities on our tour at Zaanse Schans. you would have a Dutch cheese factory tour, to understand how to make cheese in the traditional way. You could taste more than 30 different types of cheese here. After that, we will take you to a wooden shoe factory tour. You would watch a live demonstration of making wooden shoe by a traditional clog maker. After that you would have a private Royal Amsterdam Diamond tour, to know the history of diamond, and enjoy the diamond with 268 cuts. Of course you would have your own free time to get close to the windmills and take photos.
This attraction is the first stop at Zaanse Schans. As described above, you would experience this old cheese farm/factory, to have a private tour of how to make traditional dutch cheese, get to know the history of this cheese farm, and cheese tasting with more than 30 different flavors.
At this attraction, you would expect to see a live demonstration of making wooden shoe by traditional clog makers, get to know the history of wooden shoes, and see different types of wooden shoes. You could have wooden shoes try-on here with different colors. Of course you can take as many photos as you want.
After Zaanse Schans, you will travel to Zaandam City Center to see the famous 'Lego' building, You will have free time here to take photos as many as possible, or just walk around in the 'Lego Village'.
In the afternoon, you would explore the ‘Little Venice’ of the Netherlands. You will enjoy about 3-4 hours here to explore the sights by yourself and your loved ones. we include 1 hour traditional boat cruise here. But if you want, you could drive boat by yourself, that would have more fun with your family or friends. Self boat ride will have an upgraded price (around 10 euro/person depends on seasons)

Covering three famous Dutch attractions in a single day was exceptional value for money. Went on this tour at the end of October and it was just lovely! Our guide, Eric, was very knowledgeable about the different destinations we went to and travelled at a nice and slow pace where you can enjoy sightseeing and taking pictures. Since it’s low season, the canal cruise was perfectly clear and by going to Zaans Schans in the morning we were able to avoid busy crowds. Overall a really great experience but be prepared for the cold, especially the strong winds, if you’re going around October-November.
We had an amazing day trip to Giethoorn with our tour guide Reinier. He was absolutely wonderful, very knowledgeable, informative and passionate about sharing the history and culture of the area. Throughout the trip, he took great care of everyone in the group, making sure we were comfortable, informed and enjoying ourselves. It was a full day of activities. There were only 8 of us in the van. We had 3 different stops with plenty of time to see everything.
Zaanse Schans and Giethoorn are incredible places, totally worth it to visit them but our guide made the trip much more rich, interesting and educational. I highly recommend the tour although the duration might scare some people, but a guide so knowledgable and the amazing and unique places make it a must do tour when visiting Amsterdam.

The company does not care about you, in fact the operator or owner or who ever is messaging me, has zero respect and is telling me I’m not honest. Pick up message said 8:20am and sent car details. My family was outside hotel looking for the car from 8am. No information was given to wait inside hotel for pickup. In fact the message clearly states to look for the number plate. I sent my call log that I tried to call and I also sent my message log that says, Hello which side do you want me on, where can I find you. I tried to call the number on email and I tried to call the number that was messaging me. I left voice messages, I messaged on WhatsApp. I got the hotel to call them, the taxi driver on the way to where I was sent a message to meet, tried to call them. No one answers, my driver sent me a text with a call to my phone for 2 sec so it probably didn’t even ring. Even with miscommunication about pickup, the owner or person messaging me has no right to tell me to plz be honest. I have travelled to many places around the world. Worst customer service experience please don’t book this trip. As well so over priced, entry to most places was so cheap compared to price charged. And kids get charged same price as adults. Everything would have been ok, apart from not being picked up and then to be told that we are lying. So disrespectful, no communication, no one picks up the phone. Absolutely not ok to have zero manners when messaging a customer on the Viator app. Booked many trips on Viator app, never left a bad review. Please reconsider this company as zero manners with regards to customer service. The driver finally apologised as he was dropping us of back home.
Had a wonderful day sight seeing with our guide Erik. He pointed out some great photo spots and help take some memorable pictures. I especially loved the boat ride through the canals and lake - Ive never seen so many swans in one spot. It was really something to behold.
We had a great tour with Reinier. He was professional and very familiar with the area, shared lots of fun facts about the Netherlands throughout the tour. He was also very considerate of everyone’s experience, there were bottles of water prepared for the group. The places we visited were also very beautiful, loved the canal tour in Geithoorn! Great day trip with excellent guide. Our guide, Leidse, was a total professional and very pleasant. He checked with us several times in advance to confirm pickup location and was also very clear on meeting times and locations during the trip. The small group and hotel pickup and drop off made this superior to many other day tours I’ve taken with other companies.
My wife and I had a great time on our tour of Giethoorn with Reinier. He was extremely friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. He always kept on top of the itinerary and we made it to every stop ahead of the crowds! The perfect mix of guided and free time, I enjoyed that we weren’t shepherded around like you see larger groups are. I don’t typically book tours for that reason, so the pacing of our tour really appealed to me.

Full day trip to Zaanse Schans to see the windmills, clog making and cheese making, followed by a visit to Giethoorn, a fairytale village with a boat trip. Guide Leides was brilliant, great fun, chatty and informative. I was collected on time from my hotel and the trip went very smoothly. We also had plenty of free time to ourselves. Quite a long journey to Giethoorn but it was worth it. I would recommend Leides and his company.
What a great experience with Liedse as our tour guide. He is such a great guy, he explained everything clearly, gave us recommendation on food and even helped taking photos for us. Would love to comeback in different season and having him as our guide again.

If you have hard to please Asian parents from the suburbs who are itching to get out of crowded Amsterdam, this tour in late summer/early August is perfect! Our tour guide Erik paced the trip perfectly and the demonstrations were very educational and interesting. Our original booking on GetYourGuide didn’t mention the Lego House but it was a quick and convenient stop in downtown Zaandam with groceries and a pharmacy if you needed to pickup anything. The whole day was relaxing and picturesque.

We had an absolute great day on our excursion today. If you ever take this tour ask for Eric, best guide you could ask for. We travelled in a small group of 6 and visited incredible local sites. Eric was incredibly welcoming from the time he picks you up. Eric knows the local area and history. He gave us time at each location to be on our own and made sure we had front row seats at our demonstrations at the cheese making and wooden shoe making. Eric is a Five Star tour guide.

This is the first time my family visits Amsterdam. We joined a Day Trip to Zaandam Lego Village, Zaanse Schans and Giethoorn. Leidse was our tour guide for the day and he made our family felt very welcomed to this country. In short, we had an excellent experience for the day with Leidse. He kept the group very engaged with different topics while he introduced the sightseeing places or during the He helped each small group of us taking pictures at each sightseeing points. He was very attentive and sweet, not just remember everyone's name and also sharing some Dutch treats with us. The highlight of the day was absolutely the boat trip. This was an unique experience and my son had a great time. Pickup and drop-off location was convenient, very close to Amsterdam central station. The air-conditioned vehicle is well maintained and a group of 7 passengers can sit comfortably during the ride. Overall we had a wonderful experience in this trip.

I really enjoyed this day tour with K7 Travel. Visiting Zaanse Schans, the LEGO Village and Giethoorn in one day was a great way to experience different sides of the Netherlands. The tour was well organised, and the combination of sightseeing, transportation and the boat cruise in Giethoorn made the experience convenient and enjoyable. Giethoorn was definitely one of my favourite parts, especially the boat cruise and the beautiful village scenery. As a tourism and event management student, I also appreciated the organisation behind the tour. Managing several destinations in one day requires good time management, transportation planning and coordination, and overall I thought the itinerary was well structured. It was a good experience for someone who wants to see several Dutch attractions in a limited amount of time. I would recommend it, especially for first-time visitors to the Netherlands.
