Windmill, Dairy Farms & Countryside Electric Bike Tour

I want to thank Kendra for the nice tour. I had fun visiting the countryside by bike. It's a way to discover an Amsterdam side which noboby talk about.

Awesome break from the hustle and bustle of the big city of Amsterdam. It was pleasantly surprising how easy it was to get out into the countryside. Wish we had done the 5 hr tour, but will leave that for our next visit to Amsterdam. Just wish there was at least one other windmill along the route.

Biking in Amsterdam is exciting! This was a fun way to try it with cheerful guidance, and a lovely pastoral route.

Wonderful ride in the country! It was so nice to get out of the city and the bikes were very easy to ride. Our guide jasper was wonderful and informative.

Our guide Julia was fantastic. The bikes were like new and easy to manage. We did around 25 km in 2.5 hours, flat easy riding. A highlight of our Amsterdam trip - highly recommend!

Brilliant. We were a small group of 3, and the staff were super friendly upon arrival. Julia was great to chat to and made sure we all felt safe on the bikes. The route was peaceful and took us past lots of animals and birdlife, plus we stopped for ice cream. Highly reccomend!

We loved this tour! Though we are experienced e-bike riders, we are not Amsterdam bike traffic prepared Having spent a few days in Amsterdam, we were nervous about riding in the crowd ! Julia, our guide, provided a very easy and safe route through the city part of this tour (which was, at most, 1/4 of the time) The rest was beautiful countryside in Amsterdam Nord! We had so much fun! We had booked this months in advance and after seeing the weather forecase when we arrived we hoped to change the date and time of our tour. Their website made it so easy to do that a couple of days ahead of time, so we were able to ride in beautiful weather too! The bikes were heavy but they worked very well and were very comfortable. They offer a variety of styles in e-bikes including a step through. This was a wonderful finale to our Amsterdam trip. Julia was interesting and fun! Highly recommend.

The bike Tour was one of the top highlights of our trip to Amsterdam! Corbin was very nice and told us a lot of interesting facts along the way. He stopped for pictures and we saw the absolute gorgeous countryside. We also went to a farm where we had the best ice cream and Corbin had delicious cheese and apple slices to share for us. He took very good care of our 11 year old daughter who was scared to ride an e bike for the first time- in the end she loved it and it was one of her favorite things we did in Amsterdam! Great tour !!!

Great tour. Would do the longer 5-6h tour next time. So much fun getting out of the city and visiting the countryside Just need to be able to add a beer or coffee stop to make it even better Bikes were so good, power if needed but really new and nice to ride Kevin our guide struggled with English a bit as he is originally from the US (joke), but seriously he was super funny & nice and really made a huge effort to get to know everyone and regularly checked in to see if all was well. Would highly recommend this tour and perhaps consider the longer tour as 2.5 hours flew past really quickly.

This was such a great tour. Bikes were comfortable, the ride was so scenic and beautiful, and our tour guide Gabe was absolutely fantastic. A must do while in Amsterdam! Thanks for a memorable day Gabe!

Lovely trip to the Amsterdam countryside! Beautiful route, easy central location for departure/arrivals, comfortable bikes. Definitely worth the price. Guide was friendly and shared interesting facts along the way, but was new to the city/country and so couldn't answer questions if they were outside the script. I've noticed this throughout Amsterdam, as there are so many international and young folks that finding a local or more experienced guide is difficult. You will enjoy a great day with Those Amsterdames!

What a fabulous tour! We did this tour this afternoon with Kevin as our guide and it was so enjoyable. Kevin was super friendly and had a lot of interesting information to share, the bikes were comfortable and fun to ride, and the countryside was beautiful.

This was the highlight of our trip! It was an easy and very pleasant ride, perfect even for bikers who are not that confident like me. Jasper was a wonderful guide!

Those Amsterdames country side bicycle tour was an excellent afternoon. Our guide Kevin was a lot of fun and super knowledgeable about Amsterdam and the surrounding areas. He truly seemed to enjoy spending a couple hours with us in the tour. It was fun to get out of the hustle of the city and see some nearby villages..best part is stopping for an ice cream!! The e-bikes are easy to ride and the pace was perfect. I can’t wait to go back and book the longer tour with this fine company.

We were nervous to try biking, especially out of the city center, but this quickly became our favorite tour of the trip! The E-Bikes were so fun and made it so effortless. We loved the loop through the country side and it was so relaxing and memorable. Jasper was the best guide. Don’t hesitate to book this tour!

It was a great opportunity to get out of the hustle and bustle of Amsterdam, and see how others live in the country! The worst area was the intersection before and after the ferry! The best was when we stopped and got information about the area we were at! Best way to take a break from big city!

Beautiful country side just a few minutes outside of Amsterdam Centre! Cruised along the waters & dams & saw 3 wondrous windmills.

We had a fantastic afternoon biking through the outskirts of Amsterdam. It was a highlight of our trip! We highly recommend. Our guide was great, informative and fun. Pace was brisk. And the E-bikes were THE BEST! Other groups we encountered on traditional bikes had several riders struggling, our group just zipped along. Don’t be intimidated about the city portion, it was very manageable. You only need to be a basic bike rider and you’ll have a great time. Just book it- you’ll love it.

This was such a BLAST and THE highlight of our week in Amsterdam. We were terrified at the start of the ride--we're not regular bike riders and Amsterdam is a city filled with experienced riders-- and we exhilarated by the end of our tour. We rode a tiny bit in the city and then out into the countryside, where we saw farm land and animals grazing, a working windmill from the 1600s, and stopped for ice cream at a local dairy farm (self-serve with an honor system for payment--drop your money into the box.) Our wonderful host was incredibly engaging, reassuring and appropriately directive in ensuring our safety. DON'T MISS THIS ACTIVITY. You just have to know how to ride a bike. Let The Amsterdames teach you the rest!

Outstanding tour guide (and stand up comedienne) Kendra led a group of 7 safely through the Centraal district to the ferry and out into countryside. She provided educational info about the rural towns, the city, the country. Her 21 years here (not long ago she became a citizen) was the background for her insights. Take this tour! You won’t be sorry!!

This was a wonderful trip for my husband and I. The equipment is great and they adjust it to fit you comfortably. Thorough instruction in the event you haven’t ridden a pedal assist e-bike. A ride to the ferry then off into the Dutch suburbs and countryside. A beautiful ride, periodic stops, quaint villages and a tremendous guide. I will go again next time I’m in Amsterdam!

We had a great time biking the countryside. They have e-bikes so it was easy and fun. It was a rainy day but with their nice ponchos we stayed dry. I would say a must do. See how it feels to bike in Amsterdam.

The REAL bike experience is this tour through the countryside to get the real Dutch experience. Great well maintained bikes and much needed Ponchos supplied as it was the wettest, rainiest and funnest experience. Will be back again and the longer tour with the village stop for lunch and a beer is well worth it. I'll be back next time 100%

It was great to get out amongst the green countryside outside Amsterdam, Gabe, our guide took great care if us all, the electric bikes are very good quality and easy to ride. Thanks Gabe and team :-)

Kendra was an excellent guide, very knowledgeable, funny, and took us to quaint countryside towns. The scenery was beautiful and I’d definitely recommend this tour to everyone. A great value for the money and nice way to escape the city crowds for a bit and experience the country.

Kendra is the best tour guide so informative and so funny, the bikes were great so easy to ride, we were abit nervous riding through central Amsterdam but Kendra made us feel confident, we hopped on the ferry and had the most gorgeous bike ride through the country in Amsterdam. We age from 38 to 11 and all of us found it one of the best activities we done in Amsterdam.

Kendra was an excellent and entertaining tour guide. The e-bikes were in great condition and added to the enjoyment of the ride.

The bike trip was awesome with the tour group Those Amsterdames, once you leave the city it’s so beautiful. It’s a must!!

What a great morning! Absolutely recommend this tour and the company, Those Amsterdames. We did a 2.5 hour small group tour with our knowledgeable "local" guide Kevin. The bikes are really good and provide easy riding, not too much effort required. It's a great way to see the Amsterdam countryside. Don't be put off by the cycling mayhem in the main part of the city, 5 minutes to the ferry and it becomes much calmer and more civilised. Helmets are available but very few people in Amsterdam use them, maybe they lead charmed lives. They certainly ride like they are invincible! Please do try and arrive at the time specified in the communications, i.e. 15 minutes before the tour start time to allow for bike set up and safety brief. Our tour was late departing due to two people arriving very late. It was frustrating having to wait for someone else's poor timekeeping, but Kevin and the team were able to allow the tour to over run the allotted time.

It was a sunny hot day (30°) for our ebike ride. There were 7 people in our group + our guide Corbin. There was only 1 windmill but lots of beautiful countryside with cows & sheep along the way. We bought a delicious frozen limoncello yogurt from the Beemster dairy & enjoyed tasting some cheese our guide purchased. We rode through a few picturesque small villages, which were difficult to photograph but charming. It was over before we knew... very enjoyable.

Really enjoyed the tour. The bicycles were all set up properly to each rider before departing the shop and checks were made before we mixed it with traffic on the bicycle paths before the transfer to the ferry. Once on the other side was a nice country ride with interesting narration (assisted by the guide also doing stand up comedy), so it was light and informative. Plenty of photo opportunities along the way.

Kendra was the perfect guide with her jovial and relaxed demeanour. The sights were stunning, and we enjoyed everyone in our small group. We’re nearly 60 and had no trouble biking the route, with special shoutout to the wonderfully maintained bikes. Thank you for a memorable trip.

This was a great way to see outside of Amsterdam! They provide a great tour over a few hours riding through the scenery. There was support to get to know e-bikes and how to use them as well as riding in Amsterdam in general and its biking culture. Locals of the countryside appear to enjoy seeing tourists out there with our guide. My bike fell and needed some adjustment to fix which our awesome guide was more than prepared for!

Great trip. Meet in Amsterdam take a ferry and are in the countryside within minutes. Recommend. We got lost and a staff member waited for us so we could catch up with the rest of the tour. Lovely people.

Book this tour - especially for those who want to ride a bike in Amsterdam but maybe not so much in the city. Our family of 4 (parents & 2 college aged teens) had a great time. Small group. Check Funny and informative host. Check Great experience. Check Time spent outdoors. Check Short ride from shop to ferry then it’s smooth sailing along easy paths through a number of small villages before heading back. Did I mention e-bike. Couldn’t be easier. You ride by farms, villages, old church, cows, sailboats and it keeps going. Guide stopped throughout to keep group together, tell stories and facts and just make sure everyone was is good spirits. The city of Amsterdam is cool but it was great to see something off the beaten path.
