Very enjoyable food and cultural tour of Amsterdam. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable. An excellent way to see an area of the city.
Victor was wonderful. There was not enough food, too much deserts and alcohol.
Matt did a great job of introducing us to Amsterdam
Great experience, our Guide Inge was excellent, take time to explain every aspect of the tour( and more). Great combo: bike and foods for city culture. Julie & Christian (Canada)
Such a fun and informative experience! Our guide Inge, had such great energy and knew a lot about Dutch history. She was also reassuring with my minimal bike skills!
Our food and bike tour through Amsterdam was absolutely amazing! Our tour guide, Inge, was incredible. She did such a wonderful job bringing Amsterdam’s history and culture to life, sharing fascinating stories about the city, Dutch traditions, the food, and even the canals. I learned so much about Dutch culture and the rich history of Amsterdam throughout the tour. What made the experience even more enjoyable was how knowledgeable, outgoing, and engaging Inge was. She created such a fun and welcoming atmosphere, and you could truly tell that she loves what she does. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Amsterdam, especially if you want to experience the city beyond just the typical tourist attractions. The combination of biking, delicious food, history, and culture made this such a memorable experience. Thank you “Inge” and “Flagship Bike Tour Amsterdam “ for an unforgettable tour and for making our time in this beautiful and historic city so special. 🚲 🇳🇱 ❤️
We did the Flagship Bike Tour Amsterdam and it was amazing! If you go, book “Inge” as your travel guide. She was so Informative, so personable, and so much fun! She really made this experience one to remember! I was struggling with the bike at first because I haven’t rode in YEARS, but I got the hang of it as we kept going. This tour made me feel like a local. You learn about so much Dutch culture, ate some local favorites, explored the city, had some good chats, and drank some traditional drinks. I would highly recommend!
Very fun tour! Great food and very informative! 10/10. Highly recommended!
Julia was an amazing guide! So knowledgeable and gave us extra history and info. Food was great!!
No crashes Matt was awesome and very knowledgeable!
Matt was fun & knowledgeable. Cool tour.
Fantastic and tasty! Matt was a friendly, patient and knowledgeable guide. He accommodated our large group well.
Booked Food and Cultural tour of Amsterdam by Bicycle; wanted to combine two desirable activities into one tour. Was on the plane from California to Amsterdam when I received calls from the vendor informing me my original tour was cancelled due to "technical issues." If anyone receives such a message, be wary. They will try and appease you by booking you on a walking food tour and a separate biking tour at a later time should you request it. I did and was given a verbal guarantee they could accommodate a biking tour immediately after the walking food tour and I should get emails verifying this. I got one email verifying our walking food tour and none other. Upon checking in at Flagship, I reiterated my previous communique with staff at the bike store but they had no clue to what agreement they levied with me. All around the city, there are Flagship canal boats, Stroopwafel bakeries/factories, and restaurants associated with the company. Their boats are usually packed and I am sure they do good business. Unfortunately, there is a cost and be assured you will experience less intimacy and personal interaction. We never did get our biking tour but I wouldn't have wanted one with them. So if you are reading this, you have been warned. I booked through Viator and the reviews were decent. I should have known it was too good to be true to have a food tour on bikes.
Matt was a great tour guide, he was very informative, knowledgeable and lots of fun too! We would definitely recommend!
Matt was great! Animated and engaging, with quite a few stories to follow up each destination.
Matt gave us the best tour ever! Would highly recommend was the highlight of my trip
Skip was the best. He kept everyone together and the places we went to were interesting! We would definitely ask for Skip again.
Biking in Amsterdam is unlike anywhere we’ve been. Takes a bit of nerve! But the guide (Boss) was great- informative, interesting and friendly. The food and drink was a nice mix of sweet, savory and alcoholic.
Amsterdam is best explored the local way - on two wheels, with great food guiding the route. We recently joined a food and culture bike tour with them, and it turned out to be one of the most memorable ways to experience the city. Cycling through the charming canals, hidden streets, and the picturesque Jordaan district, we discovered Amsterdam’s history and culture through its food. The culinary journey included fluffy poffertjes from Pat’s Poffertjes dusted with powdered sugar, juicy chicken saté with peanut sauce at De Blauwe Pan, crispy cod bites and traditional herring from Volendammer Haringhandel Jonk, and the iconic bitterballen paired with fries & beer at Rokin 85 Gastropub. Along the way, we also enjoyed freshly made stroopwafels, herbal bitters, and a taste of traditional jenever. What made the experience truly special was that every stop came with fascinating stories and local insights - we deep dived into Amsterdam’s history, traditions, and multicultural influences. If you're looking for a unique way to experience the city beyond the usual sightseeing, this food and culture bike tour is an absolute must. Good food, beautiful views, and endless cycling!!
It is a nice experience. Sevastian was a great guide.
Absolutely wonderful! Great exposure to the range of classic Dutch foods together with a very pleasant way to see the city: on a bicycle like the locals. Bas did a great job as our guide. Highly recommended!!
Very nice places to visit for a bite and great information about small facts
Skip was an amazing tour guide! The whole trip was so fun. Great food and great value.
Skip was our guide. Wonderful tour. Don’t miss it!!!
Our tour guide was Skip. He was fabulous. Very helpful to everyone and full of information. Such a bubbly personality. He obviously likes his work. The tour was great with nice food. Interesting alcohol to try although I didn’t drink it. Local History and information was abundant, Skip was lots of fun.
Great experience with Skip! He was kindness itself as he helped my husband and I with alternative transport due to my husband's mobility issues. We still had a wonderful tasting experience!
My husband & I took the food & culture bike tour around Amsterdam. Bas was our guide & he did a wonderful job showing us around the city. It was such a fun experience trying the local cuisine. We highly recommend it!!!
Matt was awesome. He had lots of information for us and took us ALL over the place! Loved it !
Bas led an unforgettable walking tour today. This food tour had more food and food variety than most tours from other companies . Bas, our guide, was super friendly and intent on ensuring everyone was full to their satisfaction. He also stayed after to shoot some pool with me, which greatly added to my vacation experience. I highly recommend this tour to all, solo travelers and groups.
They cancelled the bikes on us and we ended up walking ALOT. The guide walked way too fast, did not provide alot of history and moved us for long distances between each stop. Not recommended
Ian was an amazing guide, we had such a fun time and learnt a lot about the city and dutch culture. Thank you!!
The highlight of my trip! From the very start you are welcomed by an amazing staff and greeted with a shot of liquor, which is already a great beginning. The tour itself was fantastic, with a friendly and incredibly knowledgeable guide (cheers to Matt). You get to try so many delicious foods along the way. Absolutely worth the money and fully deserving of 5 stars.
Skip was a great tour guide whole experience was great
While only spending 3 days in Amsterdam, we picked our experiences very carefully. Eloise from Flagship tours exceeded our expectations by miles! Her knowledge, stories and enthusiasm made our day. The 3 hours flew by, the selections of stops and foods & beverages were spot on. Such a fantastic variety to highlight the culture of Amsterdam and portions were quite filling. Eloise kept a steady pace yet paid attention and adjusted to keep our group together. Excellent value for the price!
Really nice tour with Skip. He showed us Amsterdam, talked about history and food. Really good food and drinks along the way, and really nice people in the different places!!
Zlata is a wonderful guide who led us through a rich variety of culinary specialties, and even more than planned in the program. She was attentive to everyone, highly engaged, and made the tour joyful and truly exceptional with her overflowing enthusiasm. Thank you Zlata !
It was a lot of fun to discover all these places, learn about the food and spots of the city. The group was very kind and the guide was very funny. I had a great time.
Amazing experience with Sip, can’t wait to come back and try a new tour. The different foods we tried also exquisite. Quite the local flair.
Very good value lots of nice food and stories. The portions were surprisingly big so make sure youre hungry. Seep was an excellent guide and very knowledgeable
This tour was a great way to see different parts of the city and taste the classic foods. I’m not vegan, but I was impressed that the venues were able to accommodate a vegan in our group. The bike riding isn’t physically strenuous—I originally signed up for an ebike because I’m not in great shape but I had no trouble keeping up with the tour on a regular bike. I’d suggest bringing a backpack so you can keep leftovers.
Super lekker, fun, and knowledgeable!! Siep was da best!! We were well looked after, and he was full of fun facts, even in the rain and wind we had great time.
This tour was worth every penny! So much food and every stop was better than the last. The chicken saté was juicy and full of flavor, the poffertjes melted in your mouth, and the herbal bitter was a fun Dutch surprise. Our guide was friendly and knowledgeable, sharing great stories while we cycled through beautiful neighborhoods and quiet canals. You won’t leave hungry and you’ll see parts of the city most tourists miss. Delicious, fun, and perfectly organized!
It was a fantastic tour around Amsterdam central and also history was told by the guide clearly. He took his time to answer our questions and was patient.
What a nice experience! Delicious food and drinks during the tour. Matt told all sorts of interesting facts and had a relaxed vibe!
Great bike tour of the city with Matt. We were able to discover local specialties while burning calories 🤗
