Loved the museum, 88 paintings by van Gogh. Went for a one hour ride on the bicycles provided for free. Unbelievable scenery of the sandy dunes and forest in autumn colours. Unfortunately we did not spot any wild life. The cafeteria had decent food. The commentary by Sarah was excellent and informative. Well organised.

My friend and I were very eager to see the special van Gogh exhibit at the Kroller-Muller museum. Getting there from Amsterdam on our own seemed complicated and much too time-consuming. We're glad to have discovered the Dutch Tours small group tour. Our driver/guide, Sarah, was prompt, efficient, and very supportive. She is also very knowledgeable about the Kroller-Muller museum and the park, and shared a lot of fascinating information about both. If I needed a tour on a return trip to Amsterdam, I would turn to Dutch Tours first, and hope that Sarah is available.
Perfect trip, perfect guide. The Kroller-Muller museum is not easy to get to, but Dutch Tours made it easy. The museum itself is amazing, don't miss it if you are anywhere near.
Our day trip to Texel island was fantastic. Our tour guide Eva was the best!!xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
We had a wonderful tour with Eva! She was very accommodating and informative about the history of the park as well as The Netherlands more generally. We went primarily for the Kröller-Müller Museum and all of the wonderful Van Gogh paintings (and those of many other artists). We arrived early and Eva drove us around the park prior to the museum opening. Overall, meeting and spending the day with Eva truly was the highlight of our Amsterdam stay. And please, do not hesitate to book directly with Dutch Tours as we did. You will not regret it!
What a lovely day! We enjoyed our small group so much! We saw the park, rode bikes and visited the museum! Great conversation in the van! Complimentary snacks and drinks were added bonus. Highest recommendation!
We really enjoyed visiting museum and park Thank you Sarah for helping us to visit this place Suggest to use microphone in the car, because we could not hear very well
My husband and I had a private tour to the Kroller Muller Museum and surrounding park and lodge. Sarah, our guide was terrific sharing her knowledge about the area as well as arranging for us to have free time in the sculpture gardens and to bike in the beautiful forest trails. It was a thoroughly memorable day that mixed an outstanding collection of art (primarily Van Gogh) within an extensive and beautiful park. Thank you Sarah and Dutch Tours!
Incredible access to Van Gogh with only a fraction of the crowds in Amsterdam. Lovely sculpture garden as well.
Eva is a very professional and knowledgeable guide, also a very pleasant person. We very much like the museum, as well as the museum garden. Their story was explained to us nicely by Eva.
Very lovely trip in Hoge Veleuw NP, and visit to Kroller Muller NP. Especially liked the van Gogh Museum. Guide and driver was very accommodating, introducing the area, history and animals of the N P
Relaxing day. A small but beautiful museum. The scenery was beautiful as well. Sarah was a great guide, driving all over to help find wildlife, even though we didn't see any, I really enjoyed a laid back day. Recommend 1000%
We had a wonderful tour of the Hoge Veluwe National Park and the Kroller Muller Museum with Sarah. Sarah was a fantastic guide. We highly recommend this tour.
Our personalized small group tour with Eva was absolutely fantastic! She went above and beyond to tailor the experience to each individual in our group, making it truly special for everyone.
Sarah was fantastic! We ended up being the only group on the tour, so we got picked up from our hotel. Sarah was very knowledgeable about everything and quite accommodating, especially with my young nephew. Would highly recommend this tour company!
It’s impossible to pick the single best part of the day—it was all perfect. We rode bikes through the park and spotted a herd of red deer. Then coffee in the sculpture garden, looking at the art, trees and flowers. But the amazing experience was seeing the large collection of van Gogh’s in relatively empty galleries, so that for the first time I was transported by the art. Unforgettable, as was Eva our guide. So grateful.
We had such a wonderful time on this tour! Our guide was knowledgeable and ensured our comfort the whole time. She made sure everyone had bespoke experiences to fit their interests. We loved our day out of the city enjoying biking in nature through the countryside.
The best day trip I took in Amsterdam. A must for all Van Gogh fans and anyone who wants to experience the Dutch landscape.
Eva was our guide/driver. She was just amazing with her courtesy, explanations, care and knowledge. I highly recommend her tour
Our guide/driver Eva was very helpful and informative a pleasure to be with her The park is interesting The museum has a number of good Van Gogh worth seeing
This was one of my favorite outings of the trip! Eva was wonderful as a guide, making our time together fly by with great conversations. The museum was one of my favorites in the Netherlands, and the bike riding and nature viewing in the park was top notch. I would do this experience again- and would book any other excursion with Dutch Tours due to the thoughtfulness and how interesting the experience was. True local tourism at its finest!
I had a fantastic time on this tour. I appreciated the central meeting spot close to Amsterdam Centraal Station. I was visiting Amsterdam from another country and didn't know the city very well outside the main tourist areas so this was easy for me to get to and was close to my hotel. Eva was a terrific tour guide and she made it completely flexible for what we wanted to get out of the trip. On the day I went on the trip it was only myself and one other guest and she allowed us to tailor it to the specific activities we wanted to do. We started off visiting a lookout point and saw some deer grazing off in the distance. Binoculars were provided so that we could get a closer look. I appreciated that small detail. My main focus after that was to visit the Kröller-Müller Museum to see the Vincent van Gogh paintings that they own. Several were bucket list items and I want to thank Eva and Dutch Tours for making it a reality that I could come to the national park and visit the museum and to have that moment. I traveled a very long distance to be there so thank you for making that happen for me, it means so much to me. I spent most of my time in the Kröller-Müller Museum and honestly probably could have spent a few more hours there. It's beautiful, simple, and has an amazing collection of art. I unfortunately didn't have enough time to really explore the sculpture garden grounds but I still got a small taste of it. The other guest on the tour visited the museum as well for a short time and then met Eva to do a bicycle tour around different areas of the park. Again, our experiences were completely flexible to what we wanted to do once we were there. I really appreciated that aspect of the tour. On our exit, we drove through more areas of the park to see more of it. It's a beautiful area and it was nice to get out of the city for a bit and see more of The Netherlands I would not have been able to otherwise. The three of us got along well and had a great time chatting on the drive back to the city. I'm very thankful Dutch Tours offered this small group tour to the national park and to the Kröller-Müller Museum. I would not have been able to visit it on my own, at least not very easily, so I'm so happy that they offered it and that it still happened even though it was only 2 of us that day. Thank you Eva and Sarah!
The bike riding in the national park was the best. Getting there was a much longer ride than we anticipated. The tour guide provided a lot of interesting facts about Amsterdam. This was just an ok outing and the pick up location was difficult to find.
Loved the personalised tour taking in the National Park itself, facts about the flora and fauna of the area, the wonderful Kroller Muller Museum and the informative background on Netherlands social-cultural situation. Thank you Sarah for the most interesting and relaxing tour. Highly recommended.
We enjoyed our wonderful small group visit to see the landscape and wildlife in the National Park with the bonus of a delightful visit to the second largest collection of Van Gogh paintings in the world at the Kröller-Müller Museum inside the national park. What a delight to be able to have the opportunity to ride a bicycle around a park and visit an exceptional museum all in one day. The Kröller-Müller Museum also has a large sculpture garden (even has a Rodin sculpture) with a nice outdoor cafe in the heart of the sculpture garden where we were able to enjoy a drink and sandwich. Our guide, Eva, was very knowledgeable and enlightened us about the Netherlands and the dutch people and culture. I would definitely recommend Dutch Tours and a visit to the Kröller-Müller Museum.
We all had a very special day. They even picked me up in the hostel. Amazing! The park itself is a wonderful place, and that plus the companion and their professionalism make it even more nice. Recommended 100000 %.
These folks went out of their way to accommodate us on this tour. It all worked out perfectly. Leonie, our guide for the day, was delightful, well-informed, a great driver, and altogether a pleasure to spend the day with. We plan to book another tour or two with them while we’re here in Amsterdam if time allows.
Leonie is a very nice and helpful guide. She took care of us throughout the tour and accommodated to our needs and preferences. Very personalised tour! We enjoyed her company as much as the scenery at veluwe national park!
This was the best tour I have ever been on. The National Park Hoge Veluwe is stunning with different landscapes - from wood forests to almost dessert like tundra. Spotting the animals in amongst the greenery was incredibly enjoyable - we spotted a cluster of 12 Roe Deer. The tour guide, Eva, was super nice, thoughtful, and adapted the tour to suit. We went for a bike-riding tour around the park and soaked in the atmosphere. I would strongly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Amsterdam.
