Great experience touring the beautiful sights along the canal. One hour tour taught us a lot about Amsterdam!

Amazing tour with knowledgeable captain

We had an amazing experience with Nicolas and Pol from Canal Motorboats Amsterdam on Wednesday evening! We rented a boat with a captain for a 2-hour canal tour with four girlfriends to celebrate one friend’s upcoming wedding. We had such a lovely and cozy time together, and our captain, Nicolas, made the experience even more special. Along the way, he shared really interesting stories about the buildings and the history of Amsterdam in a funny and relaxed way, which we really enjoyed. The boat was beautiful, clean, and very comfortable. There were even blankets available in case we got cold, which was a lovely touch. We were also very happy that we didn’t have to steer the boat ourselves — even though it wasn’t very busy on the canals, it was wonderful to simply relax and enjoy the ride without having to pay attention to navigating. Friendly and professional staff, a top experience overall. Highly recommended — we will definitely come back!

Lovely way to see Amsterdam Really enjoyed this Amsterdam river cruise. A lovely, relaxed way to see the city with great views along the canals. The commentary was interesting without being overwhelming, and everything was well organised. Bob did a great job making the experience smooth and enjoyable. Would definitely recommend to anyone visiting Amsterdam.

A really great relaxed tour around Amsterdam. The weather was good so we opted for an open boat. The skipper/guide was great, friendly and knowledgeable.

Sebastian is wonderfully entertaining; he makes it easy to fall in love with Amsterdam. And he steers the boat completely relaxed with stupendous ease through the tangle of canal traffic.

Nice cruise, the skipper gives a lot of attention tds the cruise. Definitely worth it on a hot day. Fresh breeze on the water and free drink to quench thirst.
