Rocco is an absolutely unique wonder. He is so personable and made us feel that we could be comfortable not only to fully enjoy our experience but also to ask questions that were unrelated. My friend and I went on this tour and we felt so welcomed. Rocco creates a friendly atmosphere. We appreciated his facts about the city, relaxing music and welcoming demeanor. He is an excellent storyteller!

Highly recommend! Rocco and Monique are great hosts, and the experience was truly unique. My partner and I did another canal cruise during our time in Amsterdam, and the experience was totally different (far less intimate, audio guided via headphones and hard to keep up / see details). Since Rocco’s boat is a lot smaller than larger tour providers, you’re able to venture into smaller areas (e.g. under the super romantic seven bridges) and you don’t miss any details. Rocco and Monique have done a great job providing a curated and highly personal experience.

Great tour! Rocco weaved his knowledge of the city in the entire tour—great for couples. He did a good job of making it intimate, comfortable, and creating an atmosphere where his guests were comfortable talking with one another.

Me and my best friend did this tour together and it was awesome! Our tourguide was Monique and she was great. She told us many nice storys about some places in Amsterdam and also the atmosphere within the group was really relaxing and heart-warming.

This was an absolutely amazing experience! It was a great way to experience the canals of Amsterdam. His stories are awesome and captivating, and he is very knowledgeable about the city. We were a bit skeptical at first with the idea of a romantic tour with other couples, but it wasn't awkward at all. Rocco makes everyone feel welcome and accepted. He provides drinks and snacks, which was perfect for a night out. I would highly recommend doing this tour!

This is the most Romantic tour I have ever had. This is the experience that my husband and I will keep forever, the light, the music and the wine. The experience was absolutely lovely. The boat, music, stories, views, prosecco with cheese and waffles, everything was intimate and personalised really well. HIGHLY RECOMMEND! I went on this canal cruise with 2 friends. We were the only non-couple group, but we had the absolute best time! Rocco was an incredible guide, he put thoughtful touches on everything from the food to the decor to the music, and he told amazing stories. We went on this tour on a whim but it ended up being the highlight of our trip to Amsterdam. I will book this experience again the next time I am in town.

Fun, creative, romantic boat ride through the canals. Rocco immediately makes you feel welcomed and "at home" for 90 minutes in his small boat. His gentle spirit and hospitality creates a comfortable ambiance. He is prepared for all kinds of weather (the blankets were a nice touch, if needed). Nibbley bits plus Prosecco were just right. Tea and orange juice were also available. The stories and music weaved naturally into a location or the ride between canals. We really enjoyed ourselves. Rocco is warm, entertaining, knowledgeable and humorous. Enjoy!

The romantic canal tour with Rocco and Monique was very intimate and Rocco had some great stories to tell while we drank prosecco and ate cheese. I would recommend it to anyone looking for an intimate canal tour.

Amsterdam can be pretty touristy...you have to look carefully if you want an authentic experience. Rocco's canal tour is authentic, sweet and tastefully put together. I'd absolutely recommend it .

Don’t go to Amsterdam and not take this tour. Seriously, we did this our first night in town and it set the most wonderful tone for our entire trip. It is the epitome of hospitality and elegance in an old world city. And we will do it every time we return to Amsterdam. Forever. We also recommend it to all of our friends and family that get to pass through. Even if you have just one night, don’t miss it.

Wonderful experience, even better people! A must for romantic trips to Amsterdam. The boat ride was very fun, the food/bubbly was tasty, and the views were beautiful.

This trip and company was beyond amazing. So much so, we have booked with them twice, and arranged for our parents to take a canal tour with them as well. I initially took both my 10 year old and 9 year old on the evening tour, and, while it was a bit late for them, they didn't complain too much once the hot chocolate and cream puffs started flowing! The tour itself was spectacular. Due to the size of the boat and the length of the tour, we were not rushed for time, we were not crowded, and had the opportunity to take several smaller canals and see some extra bits of Amsterdam. The guide was funny, witty and full of knowledge. You can certainly tell when someone does something for the money versus when they do it because they love their work, and I am happy to say Rocco and Marc are examples of the latter. Totally worth the money, and can't wait for round three!

Rocco's experience was one of the best experiences that I ever had. Even though its a group experience, the setting makes it feels like a personal tour. It is so different from the other canal tours in Amsterdam. It feels like going down the history and connecting with the characters in Rocco's stories. Rocco was incredible. So warm and so welcoming with his stories. The champagne was nearly all you can drink, the cheese was deliciously unique, and the sites were wonderful. Rocco told us Amsterdam-based love stories at specific locations on the tour. The boat is small and intimate, which allows for lovely conversation and narrow, quiet canals that we all forget to experience on foot. I could not recommend this more to any couple. My fiancée and I just got engaged last night and this was the perfect way to celebrate. Thank you Rocco for a once in a lifetime experience in Amsterdam.

This tour was an incredible experience. I am so glad I chose to do this then the regular large tours offered. It was small and intimate and Rocco added great touches that made the experience all the more magical! Highly recommend!

My husband and I loved this experience. We went after dark (recommended), as the lights on the canals and buildings after dark were beautiful and romantic. We had plenty of snacks and Prosecco. Rocco has some pretty awesome stories to tell. Very glad we did it, it’s the perfect part of a date night while visiting Amsterdam.

We assumed we were signing up for a somewhat campy romantic canal tour... However this tour turned out to be so much more. This was a really special experience. Rocco is a thoughtful, genuine person who truly cares about his patrons, his city and especially its history. This canal tour truly made my fiancé and I realize that Amsterdam is so much more than the red light district. Rocco provides an excellent perspective on the DEEP history of the area in a truly romantic setting. It was nothing like we were expecting in the best way. Not only does he provide an excellent service, for an excellent price- it was something that we truly believe we couldn’t have experienced anywhere else. It was an hour and a half canal tour filled with delicious food and drinks, personal stories, and fascinating history. At one point we went to the exact perspective where Monet painted his “Canal in Amsterdam”. It was beautiful. Rocco’s storytelling was mesmerizing and passionate. Throughout our tour he emphasized the importance of silence and the peace it can bring between two people who love each other, using beautiful music (which he explained the reasons for his choices) he created moments that were one of a kind. We truly couldn’t have asked for anything more. Along with the breathtaking tour he provided a booklet of his favorite local romantic restaurants. We visited one, an Indonesian restaurant- Long Pura and had the most amazing meal with the most amazing staff, and were even given a delicious dessert on the house. All in all we couldn’t recommend this tour enough. It truly made us feel connected to each other, to Rocco, and most importantly to Amsterdam itself. If you’re a fan of storytelling, of art, romance, and of history- please do yourself a favor and take this tour!

I had high expectations and Rocco surpassed them. Super, highly, extremely recommended - even for locals, not just tourists. Rocco turns out to have a had a carreer as a modern dancer, which explains why the entire experience is extremely well choreographed to create magic. From the historical info perfectly synched with (amazing) musical selections that are sometimes meant to be in the background and other times the focus. Stories. Amazing stories. I won’t spoil it for you so all I’ll say is that the way Rocco tells them is u-n-r-e-a-l. I personally left with a life lesson. It sounds like i am exagerating, but i asure you i am not. Thank you Rocco for a fantastic experience!!!

Our tour through the Amsterdam's canals was one of the best thing done in the city. The water, the colours, the romantic landscape, everything becomes even more magical on the boat. Rocco has been an amazing guide, caring, cheerful, he made us feel home. In a moment we felt all together like good old friends. It is simply lovely to know another side of the city this way. It was a perfect experience to celebrate my mom's birthday. It made it memorable. I advice anyone who wants to create a special Memory and have add a romantic and magic touch to their journey.

Roco illustrated the romantic side of Amsterdam through storytelling, songs, champagne and cheese! My boyfriend and I visited for his birthday and the canal cruise was an amazing way to end off the trip. The peace and serenity we felt cruising through the canals was a dream.
