This trip was great. Rachid was such a great guide and a very friendly happy person. He took us to a specific place in Rotterdam we wanted to see and also a beautiful genuine pottery shop in Delft he recommended. The day was so interesting and fun. I would highly recommend Rachid for any tour that he does.
Could not have asked for a better tour guide with Jay. it was perfect!!! He was punctual and knowledgeable. we had a very comfortable van for the 6 of us. He was very friendly and laid back as we went along. the locations were gorgeous!!! He guided us a bit through each location with information and then gave us plenty of free time to wander. we would set up a time and place to meet back and even then he was flexible. we could communicate using WhatsApp if we needed time to finish a meal or shop. He never pushed us. he was on "our time" .we got back a bit after 5pm and that was no problem. All 6 in our group were talking about this tour for days after and sharing it with others we met. such a pleasant experience. please choose Dutch Trips!!
We had an excellent trip with Syed. Syed also takes very good pictures for Instagram. Overall a wonderful experience.
Rachid our driver was wonderful! Some how he has the right balance of being present and a part of the group but made it about the passengers and their experience. Knowledgeable about the areas we visited he assured we not only experienced the things we wished to but also made suggestions that fit his passengers interests. You can tell he has a strength in that. By the time we were ending the trip Rachid was a friend we wanted to spend more time with. He made sure everyone was seen and their opinions on the trip valued. You are lucky to have him represent you.
What an amazing day! Our guide, Rachid, picked us up right on time in a clean, comfortable van. He was very knowledgeable about the 3 towns we visited and let us spend as much time as we wanted in each. He recommended a local place for lunch in Delft and took us to a non-touristy pottery shop for Delft pottery. The shop owner was lovely and gave us a tour of the studio. Rachid never rushed us even though we went beyond the 8 hours of the stated tour time. We could have probably done more and he would have been fine with it but we were exhausted. He was a safe driver and tried his best to steer around evening traffic. This was a fantastic tour of Rotterdam, Delft, and The Hauge. I highly recommend it and also highly recommend Rachid as a guide!
What a great trip. It was everything we hoped for and more. Rashid was a great tour guide for our "Rotterdam, The Hague, Delft Private Tour from Amsterdam." There were 6 of us in our group and we all thought it was a fantastic day. Rotterdam was amazing and we saw a lot of amazing sights and even had time to go in the Cube houses. In Delft we went to the small manufacturing shop and were able to see how the pottery was made and by whom. We all bought a souvenir to take back with us. For lunch, Rashid gave us advice on where to eat and gave us plenty of time. We rode the canal boat through Delft which we loved. Then we were on to the Hague where we saw a lot of beautiful architecture and stopped at several location for pictures. He even took us by the beach area before heading back to Amsterdam. He was very accommodating and made sure we saw all we wanted letting us know it was our day and not to worry about the time. He never made us feel we were taking too long to see everything, and we appreciated the extra time he gave us to see the towns and sights. Our day was a lot longer than we expected, and we really appreciated this as there was so much to do and see. All of us had a memorable day and have fond memories of our time with Rashid. Highly Recommend.
Rasheed was our great tour guide for our full day tour of these 3 beautiful cities. We had a group of 6, with different tastes and backgrounds. Rasheed was very knowledgeable, accomodating, and patient with all our requests and questions. He kept on saying that it was OUR tour, so he would do whatever we wanted to do, and he often offered to make extra stops for pictures and breaks. It was a glorious day. The tour was supposed to be 8 hours long but we ended up doing 11 hours! What a memorable day!
How can we express how remarkable this adventure in The Netherlands! From start to finish, the four of us totally enjoyed our 9 hr day with the best guide ever - Rashid. He’s a total professional and we saw as well as learned so much.
Great way to see three cities in one day! Rachid was wonderful! He was very informative, flexible and a pleasure to be with for the day!
Overall, it was a decent, but disappointing experience. Although this was a private tour, the tour guide was constrained by some pre-defined tour plan. We thought he would have more flexibility to tailor the tour and time spent in each location to our interests. He "set us loose" in Delft and by the Court in The Hague rather than truly guiding us and sharing information. Way too much time was allotted for lunch! When we travel, it is about seeing and doing - not eating. On the positive side, the tour guide seemed to be very knowledgeable of the entire region, and the four of us appreciated the private van transportation rather than navigating to these cities by public transportation.
I have traveled to most of Europe and dine several private tours. Rachid, our guide for our tour, was in the top 1% of guides I’ve experienced! He was knowledgeable and gave us plenty of options what to do in each of the cites after his initial tour. His food recommendations were amazing and let us see the time when we’d meet him to allow us time to shop in each of cities during our free time after his initial city introduction. In The Hague at the end of tour even though it was after 5PM when the tour should have ended, he took us to the beach to see it and put our feet in the North Sea! A great experience! Worth every penny! So much better and less stressful than a group tour!
We had the best time!! Our tour guide was Rachid. He was so knowledgeable and pleasant, and he made great suggestions to customize our trip. We did just Delft and The Hague. This gave us time to have a relaxed lunch and dessert and to do a bit of shopping in Delft, and to do the Mauritshuis museum in The Hague and to see Madurodam miniature city exhibit besides seeing the regular sights in both cities. Couldn’t recommend Rachid more!
Our driver and tour guide, Rasheed, was friendly, courteous, and patient. He answered all our questions with a great deal of knowledge, and even helped our group make dinner reservations for after our tour! He did a tremendous job, and we would seek his services again.
Rasheed was a fantastic tour guide and made the entire day interesting and fun! His selections of what to see in each of the 3 cities was great. We especially loved Delft as it was a very quaint town and he allowed us to have extra time there since we were enjoying it so much. Overall I would highly recommend this day trip!
We decided to take this private tour so we can customize the places of interest. Rashid is wonderful and very accommodating to our requests. Very knowledgeable about the places. He’s an excellent driver as well. If you’re planning on taking this tour, ask for him. All places we visited are worth it.
Our guide was the best. Jay had tons of fun facts. You could tell he was happy to share his knowledge. The places we visited were all surprisingly better than expected.
We had a wonderful day trip with our driver( Rashid) who made the journey a very pleasant experience. Rotterdam was a great city with its modern architecture, specially the cubic houses. Delft was good with the pottery making experience. Hague was memorable with the human rights parliament building. We found a wonderful Bangladeshi restaurant serving halal food. When we got there at 4pm; they were not open until 5pm. But the staff let us in and waited until the chef arrived by 4.20pm. We had the most delicious food; worth the wait at Romna restaurant. By the time we finished eating and went to our van; we were late getting much over our schedule time, but our driver made us feel welcome, after we explained our situation. Overall it was the most enjoyable experience as Rashid made our journey time at our own pace and went much over our Schedule time. Thank you Rashid for the most amazing day trip from the beautiful, wonderful city of Amsterdam!
We had a really fun day with Jay! We learned so much and was reallly interesting. It was very comfortable to visit all the places with the car.
Our private tour with Rashid was great! He was at our hotel early and we set out on a wonderful day. It was great being able to move at our own pace and see the things we wanted. My wife also loved asking him questions and he was a wealth of knowledge about the Netherlands. Totally worth it since we had a very short time in the Netherlands and wanted to fit a lot of South Holland into a day.
We did a private tour with Rashid and enjoyed our tour. Rashid was very flexible on what we wanted to see in these 3 cities.
Great private tour, our driver Rajid was very helpful and made all of our accommodations and requests.
Fernando was outstanding. He has to be one of the most knowledgeable tour guides we have encountered in years. Not only did he know about all of the sites we visited, but he knew about the history of the Netherlands. He was on time, a very safe driver and the van was clean. We had a great day.
The tour was a great way to see all 3 cities. Mike was very nice and knowledgeable. He was very accommodating and understanding to meet our needs. We would recommend this tour
Rashid was amazing.. Beautiful places, beautiful people and delicious food.. can’t wait to go back and spend more time here
Our guide and driver Rashid was excellent. He was very knowledgeable and was sure that we had a great experience. The Private Tour allowed us to set the pace—staying as long or short as desired.
Terrific guide took the time to explain everything courteous very helpful can’t say enough about him great tour
Had a driver who knew the local history at each stop. Despite the rain, we had a great time at each stop and learned a great deal about the history, architecture, canal system and Delft pottery.
I unfortunately can't recall the name of our tour guide but he was excellent. He brought us all over Rotterdam. Walked us around Delft where he explained historic facts and brought us to important sites. Drove us to the Hague too. He picked us up early in the morning at our hotel and we spent the entire day touring these three areas. He even brought us to a beach town on the way home. I liked Delft the best and wish we spent more time there than in Rotterdam. If you are interested in seeing other areas of the Netherlands and you are staying in Amsterdam take this trip. We happened to be traveling with someone who had walking difficulties and that is why we booked a private tour. I think that if you are physically fit you can save money by doing a group tour.
This was a driver versus a true tour. We wanted a little more structure and planning and were frustrated by the way we used our time. We missed the boat departure in Rotterdam (after pushing our leave time back) so waited 45 minutes to get on the next one, only to find it was a very unattractive port tour for 75 minutes. Then we had to rush through The Hague as a result. Would have loved having 75 minutes to sit and have a drink on the beach. Going on a Sunday meant the pottery demonstration was closed so also something to consider. No alternative plan was suggested. Driver had some knowledge but was definitely not a tour guide. Nice guy but not what we expected on a private tour.
Would highly recommend these guys. Picked us up and it was a comfortable ride to the Royal Delft museum. Then our guide took us to other sights we would not have known about. Taking pictures of us and very accommodating.
This was a fantastic tour. Great guide who added great color. A great way to see many cities in a single day. Well woth it.
We were picked up by a young man with a complicated name who said to call him J. He drove a poorly maintained Mercedes van. He was an extremely nice man but was not well trained. He did not know the history of the locations or sites that we saw. Despite that we had a nice day and loved where we went. My feedback about him is that he needs a mentor and training to make him proficient as a guide. He also drove like a crazy man and should not tailgate. The Rotterdam tour was a disappointment as the guide did not meet the usual standard we have received from Viator tours or their subcontractors.
We had the best day with Raji touring The Hague, Delft and Rotterdam. It was completely personalized for our interests, we had the museum Mauritshuis as a goal so I booked those tickets separately in advance . He was constantly attentive to our interests and flexible. Just the nicest man and of course all was driven safely and efficiently. He chatted with my husband during the drive and made it pleasant for everyone. Thoroughly enjoyed the charm of Delft and the visit to the De Candelaer shop!
We had a very nice time! Our driver was early, he was very accommodating, he was very sweet, he made suggestions as he heard what we liked, etc. We saw a variety of different towns within the Netherlands. I would absolutely do it again.
Fernando was such a great guide. He was very knowledgable and shared great information with us. He was fun to be with and knew great details about the Netherlands history. We had a very good experience.
The tour was great! The tour driver Rashid was prompt, drove professionally and was knowledgeable. The car was clean, sights incredible and he treated us well , in that he made sure we were seeing all the required and non required sights. The pace of the trip was perfect for my wife and I
Mike is a great guide because he likes to talk, and I’m a man who likes talking to a man who likes to talk! He’s a philosopher guide. Who could ask for more?
It was the perfect trip; a must do cities at least once and a great combination of an excellent guide who is knowledgeable, prompt, considerate and organized. Thank you, Mike🙏 Great memories to take back.
From start to finish, Said was knowledgeable, friendly and a wonderful tour guide. He went above and beyond to show us all the places we should see, where to get the best photographs and explain all the sites. Everyone said he was the best tour guide we have had. We would definitely book another tour with him on our next trip to the Netherlands!
Saed is very nice and knowledgeable. I had a great time and learned a lot. Highly recommend him. Thank you
Great trip! Highly recommend. Had a wonderful time with our guide Mike. Would recommend doing this tour for a good overview of South Holland.
Mike was an outstanding, experienced and professional guide with a wealth of information on the Netherlands, its history and the impact that it has on international relations. We experienced the hand production of Delft pottery. We had an in depth experience at the Peace Palace as well as the central government buildings. Although pricy, we found this tour a great value.
Mike was an outstanding, outgoing and professional guide and was extremely knowledgeable in the history of the Netherlands and the role it played in the international arena.
Awesome guide! Really was into making sure we got a great exposure to these three cities, and after this tour I surely would want to stay in and visit more. Bram was the best! Great stories and made this a memorable experience.
Our guide was named Mike. If you get him, you will be very lucky. Mike was friendly, knowledgeable, well informed, courteous, and flexible with regard to where went, when we went there, and what we saw. We got to see everything we hoped to see; and Mike made sure that we got every minute of the tour to which we were entitled. He was even kind enough to wait for us at our hotel after the tour so we could do a quick change and then he took us to the restaurant where we had dinner reservations. One day is not enough to see all three cities; as each one had something special to offer. If given the opportunity, I would take the tour all over again and we could see different things in each city. We were surprised by The Hague (much more than the international court) and by Delft (what a gem). Take this tour. You will not be disappointed. It was a great experience.
Mike was very personable and knowledgeable. He tried very hard to make my wife and I happy throughout the long day on the road. We went to Haarlem, Leiden, Delft, The Hague, The Black Sea and Rotterdam. Lots of places to see and enjoy! The hightlights included a stop at a Delft factory and the museum displaying Vermeer's "The Girl With The Pearl Earing". We had a chance to see what life is like outside of Amsterdam. In addition, Mike is an accomplished musician and we enjoyed discussing our mutual preferred musicial artists. We highly recommend this tour with Mike.
Pedro, our guide, was excellent..he was very knowledgeable and personable. Our driver, Ibrahim, was also very helpful getting us in and out of the van. It was a very hot day and, unfortunately, the vehicle had no air conditioning, but we made the best of it. Would highly recommend.
The driver cum tour guide was not an experienced tour guide. He could not give proper description of any places where ever we visited, like Rotterdam, The Hague etc. In Rotterdam we only visited local market, whereas there were so many interesting buildings with modern architecture to see. My family was disappointed with this tour.
Friendly and accommodating guide and driver! Our guide, Said, was knowledgeable, pleasant and professional. It was very interesting to see this part of The Netherlands and to learn more and witness the history and culture.
