We were in Amaterdam for 8 days and did this trip in the middle of the week. And it was a perfect complement and break to the Amsterdam experience.
Alex was a fabulous guide. Very enthusiastic and a safe driver. He was very knowledgeable and enjoyed his job. We had a great day! Would recommend
Alex was incredibly knowledgeable and had a great sense of humor that made history fun. He went above and beyond to ensure we saw the best sights, shared fascinating stories, and made us feel comfortable and welcome throughout.
Wonderful tour, our guide Rix was very engaging, knowledgeable, and personable. Thanks forva great tour!
We had a wonderful day, it was interesting and informative.
Alex was very personable and gave us with a reasonable amount of time in the three main locations we visited. He provided interesting history talks at each spot which helped give perspective. To me, Delft was the highlight. We had the most time there. We were able to visit the museum, walk around the market, have lunch and even visit the historic churches. If you want to get a glimpse of the Netherlands outside Amsterdam, it would be worth taking a ride with Alex.
Highly recommend this tour. The tour guide was knowledgeable and courteous. Overall wonderful tour
Thank you for being such a wonderful tour guide! We appreciate your kindness, knowledge, and enthusiasm. You made our trip more enjoyable and memorable. Thank you for a great experience!
Love this tour! Andy was absolutely excellent - very knowledgeable and informative. Took great care of us. Small group tour with good accommodations. Thank you!
It is a pleasant day with a lot of history and easy walking in the cities. Our guide Alex was excellent and knew when to move on and did not waste our time.
Everything was fantastic. Absolutely loved Rotterdam and delft Everything I had hope to see and more
Alex was a great tour guide. We have been on small group tours where the “guide” was really just a driver, but that wasn’t the case with Alex. At each stop he provided a lot of history and context. Highly recommended.
Alex was amazing! He picked us up at our hotel which was very helpful. He had a wealth if knowledge that he shared with us. He was flexible and asked us where we would like more time and where we would prefer to have lunch. He was a terrific guide. I would highly recommend him.
Our driver and guide was Alex, and we couldn’t asked for better. He arrived early, was pleasant and friendly the whole day. He was a wealth of knowledge, easily answering questions along the way. He walked us through most every aspect of various sites, would give you some time on your own, and then pick us up-a very efficient use of time! To top it off, he was funny and we loved his sense of humor!
Alx was such a fantastic tour guide. He was so incredibly knowledgeable about numerous facts about Netherlands and the countries many international foes and historical events. He was very efficient managing between timeliness of the tour and allowing us enough time to truly explore and enjoy each location. I cannot recommend this tour enough to enjoy and learn.
We took a day trip the Delft , Rotterdam and The Hague today . It was a small group trip consisting of 8 people and we spent a wonderful day exploring these cities . Our guide and driver , Andy , was immensely knowledgeable and helpful , in addition to being a very careful driver . He not only told us about the places we visited , but also gave us an insight into the Dutch culture and lifestyle in a way very few guides do . He was always , patient, ki d and courteous . The itinerary mamaged to fit in all the major highlights of these cities without being either boring or excessively tiring . I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this tour to everyone .
Covered a lot in the allocated time with some detailed information about the items on the list . Areas attended well selected
The problem we travelers have when we have an excellent guide and the next one is just average is that there’s no way we can rate them the same. Our Giethoorn tour, two days before, had been extremely good. As for the Rotterdam’s tour, Alex is a very nice person but a bit flat and we got under the impression that he memorized facts but when asked questions he didnt know the answer of, he made up things that were not accurate. The cities are interesting, but I had the feeling of been listening to a school class of show and tell. When I look back to my whole Amsterdam trip, this tour is not in top of my favorites. I struggle with the idea of writing this review since I know how reviews affect business but I also have a commitment to be truthful with my fellow TripAdvisor’s travelers. That weighted more. Conclusion: There is room to improve.
Alex was a fantastic guide and driver. He took us to Rotterdam, Delft, and The Hague and gave us lots of interesting explanations about the history, culture, and sights along the way. Very knowledgeable, professional, and friendly. We had a wonderful day and highly recommend him!
Great experience and good way to end trip. Alex was very knowledgeable. Super beneficial that he was able to pick and drop us off at the hotel.
The tour guide , Alex , was the perfect guide for this trip , the information he provided was fun and helping to understand everything your eyes would see during the tour , made me feel like I was living in every place we went to my whole life. The tour size was perfect , the time spent was remarkable.
Alex was amazing. The destinations are definitely worth it. Choose this trip if you want a comprehensive day tour of Netherlands.
This tour was wonderful. Alex was a wealth of historical information and made the day fun. The flexibility provided during our stops allowed for individual exploration as well as time to learn about the history of each stop. It's a great combination.
This was a well thought out tour, in a loop out of Amsterdam. Alex was a good driver of the eight person van, and able to give history and insight along the way. Good break in the town of Delft, for lunch and shopping on our own. Thumbs up!
Pete was a great guide, with excellent local knowledge and a great sense of humour. We learned so much about Rotterdam, Delft and The Hague and had a fantastic day even in the rain!
This is fun but full day! Very interesting places with lots of very educational and historic facts! Well worth the time!
Fantastic day tour! Our driver and guide, Andy, made the experience unforgettable. He was personable and impressively knowledgeable - sharing rich insights about Rotterdam, Delft, and The Hague as well as the Netherlands overall. The tour was well organized from start to finish, and thanks to Andy’s expertise and warm approach, it became a truly memorable highlight of our trip to Netherlands. Highly recommended!
Not much to see in The Hague; suggest having Madurodam on the itenary. Delft is a must see: bath the museum and city center.
Pete was a fantastic tour guide! He knew so much about all three cities we checked out. He was super flexible with our time and gave us some great recommendations at each place we stopped. The tour itself was a nice mix of free time to explore and guided parts.
Our guide Alex was great. The others on the tour were also. The historical info and sights were perfect. It was our first guided tour and was very enjoyable.
Alex was very informative about the cities we visited and the Netherlands overall. He was straightforward. Answered our questions. Seemed very knowledgeable. And is a nice guy.
Interesting architecture and history in Rotterdam. Enjoyed the Deft charm. Disappointed in the major buildings being closed.
Great tour and very informative!
We really enjoyed everything,The guide was great The guide was very well versed on all aspects of the history of the country
It was a good tour overall. Our guide was not great at connecting with the group and lost our interest at times, but he worked hard and was an EXCELLENT driver. We enjoyed seeing three cities that we did not stay in, and it was a comprehensive tour. It probably would not have changed our plans, but a lot of the government buildings in The Hague were closed for renovations, so we were limited to looking from the outside.
It was very nice to have a small group of eight for this tour. We enjoyed comparing Rotterdam with Amsterdam and appreciated learning about the history. The Royal Delft factory was very interesting and the artisans who do the hand painting are amazing. Lunch in the square in Delft was pleasant and relaxing. We didn’t know we would have a scheduled time for lunch. It would have been nice to see more of The Hague but construction prevented that.
Excellent guide, gave a lot of info, allowed plenty of time to explore. Only disappointment Hague palace under refurbishment so unable to see garden or walk around front. Recommend this tour. Was also nice to be in small group/passenger van vs big bus.
Alex was a very knowledable guide. His presentation of each of the areas we visited was professional, interesting, with some comedic quips added in. He allowed us mutiple photo opportunities in each city, as well as, on our own time . He answered all questions thoroughly. The only negative thing I can say is I had a hard time finding the meeting point, but it was more me not understanding the directions; however, I had no problem contacting him for further instructions. All in all this 8-9 hour tour was a great way to see the countryside & other cities close to Amsterdam in a small group setting.

Good tour with the right amount of time at each stop.. guide was detailed in his delivery.
We had a wonderful time Alex is very nice and very patient with us.He is very knowledgiable.
A great historical and informational tour of important, cultural and picturesque places of the Netherlands. The tour was a fine fix of structured and independent, with ample opportunities for free time at each stop for self-exploration. It was great learning about the cultural and economic importance of Rotterdam, an in-depth tour of the unique Delft ceramics museum and factory, the landmarks of the Hague. Our guide Alex was very accommodating and knowledgeable, took great care of us and made the tour even more memorable. I most absolutely recommend this tour recommend anyone who wants to explore more about the Netherlands.
We had a wonderful day trip to Delft, Rotterdam and Hague. Alex is very knowledgeable guide who made our trip memorable. We were especially impressed with Rotterdam not knowing anything about superior architecture prior to the trip. Wishing there was more time in Hague, but otherwise excellent tour.
A very enjoyable day out. Our guide, Alex, gave us an extensive history of the Netherlands. We were able to spend time in Delft to wander around and have lunch. Our stops at Rotterdam and the Hague were also very interesting.
Hi we had an amazing time in Rotterdam, Delft and The Hauge. Alex our tour guide and driver was excellent. He provided so much interesting information and was very professional, He was so friendly and made our tour a day to remember. Deborah and Chris
Alex was personable amd well-informed. He accomodated his passengers needs on a hot day by reducing the amount of walking as much as he could. He was courteous and professional.
Great day visiting the three cities and learning about key highlights in each from our knowledgeable guide! Thanks for sharing your insights. We loved learning more about the history and politics of the region. Smaller group, clean air conditioned vehicle made the trip very comfortable.
Had a great day with Alex.. visited Rotterdam , Delph and Hague. Alex was extremely knowledgeable and resourceful. He did give us ample time at each location for us to explore as well. Would certainly recommend this day trip for anyone who wants to explore beyond the city of Amsterdam.
Danny was an excellent guide very informative and provided a lot of history and context to what we were seeing. Seeing different cities other than Amsterdam and being able to see the pottery made in Delft was very interesting. The hostory of the Hague was fascinating
